**Isabella**
"Nothing... I swear," I nodded my head solemnly, averting my face from him. But his firm grip on my chin forced my gaze to meet his with an intimidating force.
"Don't lie to me, Isabella," he advised in a dangerously soft tone.
My heart was pounding so intensely that I was sure he could hear it. "I'm not lying, I swear," I said, my lashes fluttering as I tried to hold back the tears threatening to spill. "I just went there to get ice cream."
He nodded slowly, lips still in a tight frown. "Do you know what the mind link is, wife?"
"Yes, Razor."
He released his grip on my face, his dark eyes narrowing intensely. "You see, little pup, I might not be able to read your mind because you're wolfless, but I'll be able to do so with Dean, and when I do and find out you're lying…"
I shook my head in desperate denial. "I'm not lying, Razor. I'm sorry for not asking for permission."
At this point, my heart was somersaulting in my chest, and my anxiety level was reaching an all-new high. I wanted to confess and tell the truth, but I knew I would be in trouble, and Ian... Razor might kill him.
"Alright, baby, calm down," he leaned forward, using his fingers to wipe my tears away. "I believe you." He pulled me close and enveloped me in a tight hug. The smell of his spicy cologne and masculinity assaulted my senses, making my heart jolt with electricity.
He leaned back, his eyes still unreadable as ever as he gazed at me. "Bring your credit card."
My brows knitted together in confusion. What did he want with my card?
"Are you deaf?" The hardness of his tone sent me flying across the room to retrieve the card from my handbag, which was on the table beside the couch.
I unzipped the bag, grabbed the card, and handed it to him.
He took it from me and swiftly broke it in two, causing my eyes to widen in shock. Was this guy crazy? Why did he do that?
"From now on, I'll be the one providing for you. So if you need anything, let me know," he instructed firmly, leaving no room for argument.
This was crazy. I wanted to scream and punch his face, but I knew that would be a suicide mission.
I looked downwards, nodding my head before realizing that I needed to answer vocally. "Yes, Razor."
"Good girl," he leaned forward, brushing strands of hair away from my face. "Tomorrow, we'll be going to visit my uncle and his family, so you better be on your best behavior. Now get ready in ten minutes; Felicia is waiting for you to start your cooking lessons."
As if I wanted any stupid cooking lessons. I hated him. At home, I had never cooked before, and now this! Plus, I didn't want to meet his stupid family. I didn't plan on staying in this stupid marriage.
"Yes, Razor." Defeat was my name.

I changed into comfortable sweats and made my way to the spacious, organized kitchen where Felicia was waiting for me.
"Luna," she smiled, motioning for me to step forward. "It's nice to have you here."
I planted my feet in place, not interested in moving forward or in any stupid cooking lessons. "Just get it over with," I said with a bland expression.
Felicia's smile faltered, but she quickly regained her composure and handed me a book and pen.
I reached for them and took them. "What am I supposed to do with these?"
Her bushy eyebrows furrowed together in shock, probably surprised at my cursing. "Uhmm," she cleared her throat. "It's for taking notes, Luna," she explained while I took out my phone from my pocket.
"Do you know how to prepare scrambled eggs, Luna?" she asked, arranging the plates on the counter.
"Nope," I said blandly, my eyes fixed on my phone as I checked my Instagram account.
"What about toast bread?"
"Nope."
I could hear Felicia sighing, probably getting tired of teaching me already. "Alright, what dish do you know how to make?"
I placed my phone on the counter, my chin shooting upwards to meet Felicia's gaze. "Nothing, absolutely nothing. I've never even boiled water for tea by myself."
Felicia's lips parted slightly, disbelief written all over her face as she froze, shocked by my statement.
She brightened up with a smile at me. "Alright, Luna, then let's start with scrambled eggs; it's the alpha's favorite meal." She brought out three eggs from the crate and placed them in a transparent bowl.
The sound of my phone's notification went off, and I promptly picked it up, navigating to my Instagram page to check it. My lips widened in surprise to see a new follower, and it was Ian.
"Luna, are you paying attention?" Felicia's voice broke into my thoughts. "After breaking the egg…"
She continued explaining some things I wasn't paying attention to because my thoughts were filled with Ian. Should I follow him back or not? I probably should just follow him; I mean, Razor wouldn't go as far as searching my Instagram follow list.
"And then we can just toast it together with the bread," Felicia paused, her face contorted in a small frown. "Luna, please pay attention."
I was about to drop the phone and focus solely on Felicia and her stupid lessons, but I received a message from Ian, asking how I was doing.
I waved a hand dismissively at Felicia. "I can hear you; just go on."
This was my chance to chat with Ian in peace without being anxious since Razor wasn't around at the moment. I replied to him, and he asked if we could meet up soon, kind of like a date. Of course, I agreed. I wanted Ian to help me leave this place.
But the problem was, how do I get out of the house without Razor's permission?
My eyes flew to the sandwich machine when the timer went off. Felicia quickly brought the two sandwiches and placed them on a plate.
"There, it's done," she said skeptically as she passed the plate to me. She knew I wasn't paying attention.
"Can I leave now?" Without waiting for her reply, I turned to leave but then paused. I turned back, grabbed the plate, and went straight to the room to speak to Ian more about our upcoming date.
