Dead Man Mafia.

**Razor**

For the past few minutes, I've been gazing at John's lifeless body, one of the young omegas in our pack. After returning from the mall with Isabella, Chris informed me that we had a problem. Someone had dropped a package at the entrance of our territory, and that package was John's body.

Of course, it could only be that bold and daring bastard, Damon Rollins, trying to mess with me. I ran a hand through my hair in frustration. So, it wasn't just a rumor; it was real. This guy was developing a device that the mafia could use to wipe out werewolves easily.

"He's here, boss," Chris's voice interrupted my thoughts.

I turned towards him, and he lowered his head slightly. "Tell him to get his ass in here now!"

Chris nodded and left the room, returning a few moments later with Louis, the pack doctor. Louis was a lanky man in his early forties and ran our pack hospital.

Louis quickly knelt and bowed down to the floor.

"Get up," I sneered, crossing my arms. "Where the hell have you been?"

Louis stood up, briefly meeting my gaze before looking at the floor. "I'm sorry, boss. I was treating a pregnant patient with complications."

I waved my hand impatiently. "Well, what are you waiting for? Get to work and tell me why he looks green or something."

"Yes, sir," he hurried over to where John was lying on the bed.

Upon seeing John's body, Louis frowned deeply at the unusual color it had turned. John's body was green.

"I've never seen anything like this, boss," Louis said, retrieving his glasses from his pocket and putting them on. He examined John's face with a tiny device placed in his wide-open eyes. "I don't think it was done by a wolf, boss."

"I already knew that, John," I paced around impatiently, my chest heavy with anger and curiosity. "Tell me something new, John, something useful."

"Yes, sir." I could hear a hint of nervousness in his tone, which was good. I wanted him to understand that I wasn't messing around.

He continued to examine John's face, focusing on his head, and I began to wonder if Louis had lost his touch and couldn't determine the cause of death.

Louis straightened up and shook his head slowly, his sad eyes fixed on John's body. "My assistant told me that there were no blood or wounds in his body when he searched. I think this was done by the mafia."

"Oh wow, I'm shocked," Black, my wolf, said mockingly, almost making me chuckle at him.

He was right, though. This was no news to me. When I didn't reply and just stared at Louis, he gave a nervous cough and pointed at John's head.

"What I meant was, I think the device that the Dead Man's Mafia was building might be real. Look here, boss." He pointed at a spot in John's hair, and I hurried over to see three black dots there. "Whatever they might have done to him, this is the scar. It seems as though they used the device on his head, and this was the result."

I nodded slowly, examining the small dots more closely. "It looks as though they plugged him into something."

"Exactly," Louis agreed. "But I still need more time to investigate and come up with more findings. Why is his body green in color, and did they do anything to his brain?"

"Do just that and get back to me as soon as you make your findings."

"Yes, sir."

I walked out of the room, with Chris following closely behind me. As soon as I stepped out, I turned angry eyes toward him, letting my frustration take over.

"Where the hell were the warriors when those idiots brought John's body and dumped it there?"

Chris's head lowered immediately, not wanting to face my wrath. "They must have missed it, I'm so sorry, boss. We'll do better."

I turned away from Chris and paced the corridor angrily. "Those fools are asking for a war, and I swear I'll give it to them. First, that bastard blasted my club, and now he's killed one of my own."

"He also launched an attack on the Half Moon Pack and took many of their wolves alive some days back."

I paused and turned to Chris instantly. "And you're just telling me that now?" I asked in a low but dangerous tone, narrowing my eyes at Chris. "Really?"

I was furious. Alpha Kane of the Half Moon Pack was one of my allies, and I should have been informed about the attack on his pack.

Chris got down on his knees and lowered his head slightly. "I'm so sorry, boss. I didn't want to bother you with..."

"Shut the fuck up," I crooked a finger at him. "I told you to tell me everything you hear about that bastard, and I mean everything. From how he eats to how he sleeps or who he fucks. Do you understand?"

"Yes, sir."

"Good, because the next time something like this happens, I'll teach you a lesson."

"Yes, sir."

"Boss, boss," Dean's voice echoed as he approached quickly and knelt before bowing his head.

"What's the problem, Dean?"

He raised his head from the ground instantly. "The Alpha of the Half Moon Pack is here to see you; he says it's urgent."

I rubbed my temples with my fingers, trying to relieve some tension. "Let's go."

We made our way downstairs and towards the packhouse hall, where we received visitors. There, an irate Alpha Kane was pacing back and forth, too anxious and angry to sit down. Alpha Kane was in his thirties, with a muscular build, jet-black hair, and a strong jaw, and he was also a fearless warrior.

"Alpha Razor, thank God you're here," Kane hurried toward me, his forehead creased with worry. "I think I need your help; the mafias have done the impossible."

My brows knitted together in confusion. "I don't understand."

"Damon and his men recently launched an attack on my pack and kidnapped some of my wolves alive," Kane explained, shaking his head in disbelief. "Well, a few of them; actually, only three came back alive. But the thing is, they're now wolfless."

My lips tightened in a frown, not quite grasping what he meant. "Maybe he gave them a large amount of wolf's bane."

I mean, that was the only logical explanation.

"No, no," he shook his head, his eyes hardening as he recalled. "They told me everything. They were tortured and then a device was inserted into their heads, and then they blacked out. When they woke up, they were in a dark place with other wolves who had been experimented on, like them. They found out the others didn't survive. There, they were taunted before being tortured to death. Thankfully, three of them escaped before it got to their turn."

My eyes narrowed as I absorbed everything. So, this was what happened to John. That bastard had found a way to get rid of our wolves and wreak havoc. Anger surged within me as I remembered how my parents had died at the hands of the Dead Man's Mafia.

"Never again," Black reassured. I could feel his rage, threatening to tear those bastards apart. "This time, we'll be the ones destroying that damned mafia once and for all."

"Chris," I motioned for him to come closer. "Is it ready yet?"

"Yes, sir," Chris grinned mischievously at me. "Should I go with it?"

"Fuck yeah, and make sure that none of those bastards escape. I want their blood to fucking flow, and I want to smell their charred skin from right here."

Alpha Kane stared at me in confusion, curiosity etched across his forehead.

My lips curled in a dark smile. "Let's just say I'm about to give that bloody fool the taste of his own medicine for daring to mess with me."

That bastard thought he'd blast my club and kill one of my omegas and go scot-free, a joker. Earlier in the week, I had asked Chris to prepare to strike back; I'll be returning the favor. Not only am I going to blast that fucking club, but I'm also going to do it with every one of his dogs present at that secret meeting.
