The Rescue.

After finishing chaining Cain up with silver chains to a chair, I smirked at him. "You really thought you could win against me in a fight," I taunted.

Cain glared at me, his eyes filled with anger. "You won't get away with this. My men will come looking for me."

My dad looked at me nervously, and for a moment, doubt crept into my mind. "Maybe we should try to escape before Razor arrives," he suggested but I shook my head.

"It wouldn't be easy, dad. We wouldn't get past the guards. We just had to wait for Razor."

Cain laughed at me. "Razor will fail. He won't be able to reclaim his position as the alpha of the pack."

"Shut your mouth, Cain," I snapped, gripping his jaw roughly. "Tonight, this ends. I'm going to make sure of it."

"Let's see how you pull it off then," he smirked, infuriating me even more.
