Cross, Returns.

**Isabella**

I paced around the living room with Nathan in my arms, his cute small body pressed against mine. But my mind was anything but calm.

Razor and the others had been gone for what felt like an eternity. Each minute without them home made me more restless and worried. I needed them back, safe and sound.

As if sensing my unease, Lisa approached from the hallway. "Isabella," she began, "I heard from Felicia about everything. I'm sure Razor will succeed, don't worry."

I nodded, trying to believe her words. "I hope so too, Lisa. I just... I just need them back."

She drew a loud, heavy sigh. "I messed up, Isabella. Cross is probably going to hate me for what I did."

I walked over to her, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Don't say that, Lisa," I told her, giving her a sad smile. What's important is that you recognize what you did was wrong."
