Chapter 109 Off to his little sister's wedding.

Unfortunately for Luke, she was serious. He had to wait until the next contract negotiation. Ned kept his promise to let her hatch on Earth. To his surprise, the eggs took a long time to mature in Ned. After Nad, he had to go to Nid and then to Ned.

Lynx was hit by accident. Teheen was spared; she wanted to have her fun first.

To earn money, he worked for the Empire and occasionally for the Syndicate. Lynx's parents were tired of Earth.

His parents had stayed on the Imperial planet.

Sue had pressed Luke to her when he saw and said she could also work as a psychologist here and so could his father. He could make music anywhere. They got paid by Luke: knowledge a stamped and implants for the translation.

His mother got along very well with Mother Empress, which meant that she could be in his habitat, but also that she made it easier for his parents to do their jobs.

The trade agreements were extended, the Earth had suffered a setback and was recovering, they said.

At some point, Luke had been told that he was responsible for the next negotiation. He had sighed. Now he was sitting in the Trade Alliance's negotiation room, in the seat where Nad had sat that day.

The guards opened the door and the delegates entered. Liz, Peter, Gills and Sara. Peter had to carry the box. What irritated him most was that he saw Paul entering last.

Liz looked around irritated.

"Oops, where is the Lad and the other guards..."

Luke sat there and looked at them. Yes, they had hardly changed. He himself, now that he had been in prison for too long, had shown signs of aging, especially in the last few years. A few white hairs and wrinkles on his face.

They looked at Luke.

"Oh dear, a humanoid alien..." Sara said.

Luke smiled and mechanically raised his hand.

"Lad is scheduled for another negotiation. I'm the substitute."

They stared at him. A servant held a holopad out to Luke.

"It says here they want to offer new goods."

The five of them were irritated because Luke had spoken English.

Liz pulled herself together.

"Um, right, we have a better kind of coffee..."

Luke looked from Pad to Liz.

"Coffee?" He laughed and you could see his crystal-clear teeth.

Peter dropped the box in shock. Gill looked at him questioningly.

"What's the matter with you?"

"It's him."

Luke grinned and lit a cigarette.

"Coffee... so. Sample?"

Liz tilted her head and looked at Luke. Her eyes widened.

"L."

"My mother's fine, she has her own practice now," he pulled on the butt.

Paul stepped forward and stopped in front of Luke. Luke looked at him.

"He always gambles, well, mostly in his free time. Otherwise he teaches."

"Him and teaching..."

Luke grinned.

"That's right, he terrorized the music academy until they accepted him."

"I want to see him, that's the only reason I'm here."

"Why?"

Paul raised his fingers.

"Son, your father left with the sentence 'I'm going swinger' and then poof, and I was told..."

"Wait... Dad said she had an accident..."

"Nah, she was on a swinger's tour, didn't even notice the earth. She wasn't thrilled and, you know, she can be very vindictive."

He blew out a cloud.

"So, how's Grandpa?"

"As usual, we're opening a moon settlement soon."

"Very good, give him my congratulations."

"What are you doing here?" Gills asked.

"Working, I have to survive somehow."

They looked at him skeptically.

"What? Are you afraid I'll do something? Please. Liz, I didn't want to be a pawn. Not manipulated from the background. Paul, I'll see what I can do."

He stubbed out the cigarette.

"I can't sit on the beach in Hawaii and look at the sea anymore."

"You have a death sentence on your head..." Sara said.

"Oh. Kia shot me in the head on the golf course."

Liz came closer, the guards raised their rifles. Liz stopped abruptly.

"Put your weapons down. Liz..."

Luke leaned forward and put his weight on his legs.

"No matter what they've told you, you're and will remain my family. "

"Tell me what you've done to make Dad so angry."

Luke shrugged.

Liz looked at him questioningly.

"Maybe taking the BMW."

Liz whipped out her cell phone and scanned the messages.

"The BMW..."

She jumped as a miniature version of Lynx flew past her and landed on Luke's head.

"Hahaha, found it!" came the bright voice.

Lynx emerged, grabbed the miniature version, and glared at her.

"I told you, you can't bother him now, he has to work."

The mini version pouted.

"I want to see Dad," it grumbled.

Lynx looked at Liz.

"Hey, Liz."

She looked extremely confused, just like Gills, Sara and Peter.

Luke stood up and came down from his seat. He poked her on the nose with his finger.

She looked at him, confused. The Mini Lynx version broke free from her mother's grip and floated briskly towards Luke, pressed herself against him and made a satisfied face.

He stroked her wild hair.

"Pinx, this is your great-aunt."

The addressed person looked up, from him to Liz. She looked at her intensely, then grinned and showed her vampire teeth.

"Hello."

The others had come closer.

"Unbelievable... she has the same grin as he does..." Sara said.

Luke looked at Pinx.

"And what are you doing here?"

She looked at him.

"To my army of sisters who will serve me!" she chuckled at the end.

Luke looked at Lynx.

"Don't look at me, she devoured your cartoon."

Luke stroked her head.

"Pinx, they still need time, and then you'll be their big sister."

She looked at him questioningly.

Liz looked at him.

"You haven't been to Earth since you left?"

Luke looked at her questioningly.

"Me on Earth? No. Lynx and the Empress have kept me busy."

Lynx floated over and reached for Pinx.

"He kept his promise to Nad. Pinx was a surprise."

She smiled and hugged her.

"What the hell..." came from Peter.

Luke went to the metal box, squatted down and opened it.

Inside were things he already knew. He looked at the things, reached for a thermos. He opened it and smelled it.

Liz had somehow managed to break free. Luke poured himself some coffee.

"You became a father? But I thought..."

"Oh, the block, yes, that's been gone for a long time and I've removed the additional block."

He sipped at his mug and made a face.

"Bah... what is that?"

"The newly developed coffee that is sold in the fancy restaurants," Liz replied.

"Liz, no offense. But this coffee is crap. Don't you have any Arabic coffee left?"

"Uh, yes, but it's not as popular anymore."

"All right, Ai, show yourself."

Hesitantly, Ai materialized on Liz's wristwatch. She looked at Luke cautiously and began to fade away.

"Oh, be a good girl, Ai."

"What did she..." Liz looked at her watch. Ai looked at her, frightened.

"She has no access; she is only on your watch at the moment."

"I see, but that was the case last time, too, but why is she afraid of you?"

Luke poured the rest of the coffee back into the pot and put it down again, rummaging around in the box.

"I played around with her source code back then and built a timer into it."

He opened a can of meat and tasted some of it.

"We're having a few problems with the harvest," came from Gills.

Luke looked at her, then back at Ai.

"Ai?"

She raised her head.

"The energy supply of the megacities produces too much toxic waste and the generators are on the plants."

"They can supply the entire planet Ai, I already told you that, and should go online."

She lowered her gaze.

"Alex didn't want to know..."

Luke sighed.

"Also, the construction work for..."

Luke found something at the bottom of the box, took out a chip and turned it over in his hand.

"Ah, John's old trick."

He crushed the chip.

"We found all of John's chips, including his agents."

Luke stood up.

"So you understand why I said at the time that the chips are only ideal on Earth. The scanners here are stronger. The camouflage won't last."

Liz fell silent.

"Is George alive...? Johns sent him on a mission, but..."

"Hm," he thought.

"Ai is executing protocol 97dx9."

The Ai trembled nervously, then screamed, then stood there normally. She looked at her hands.

"What did you..." Gills began.

Luke grinned.

"Your virus program and now..."

Faster than they could react, he squeezed the neck of each of them and they collapsed. Except for Paul, who looked at him irritated.

"Take them to the medical area and clean up the mess."

The servants obeyed and took them away.

Lynx looked at Luke worriedly.

"I hope this works."

Luke looked at her smiling.

"I will only open their eyes, the rest they have to decide for themselves."

"What am I supposed to understand?" he asked.

"Paul, how did you manage to come here?"

"I gave the fat alien on the moon lots of alcohol and porn."

"These were genetically modified."

"Oh dear..."

Luke followed the servant and Luchs accompanied him. Paul sneaked up behind them.

The four of them were scanned on genetic tables and the negative attitudes were removed.

Luke was sitting on a chair when the four of them woke up on deckchairs and looked around in confusion.

Gills touched his neck.

"What did you..."

Luke took a drag on the cigarette.

"A few things are gone. At Liz's request."

Luke gestured, and a servant led Sarge in, wearing a synthetic shirt, pants and sandals. Liz jumped up and hugged him.

"You shouldn't have come here, Liz."

"But you didn't come back..." she blurted out.

Sarge stroked her head.

"They caught us as soon as we arrived. We didn't stand a chance."

Liz hugged him.

"I don't care, as long as you're healthy."

"Can he... go back?"

"Liz, we'll be shot if we go back. John doesn't want to see or hear about defeats. He counts it as a success if we don't report in. He is firmly convinced that his plan is the best there is."

He kissed her.

"I'll stay here, Liz, like the others."

"But..." she looked at him. "You look like a convict..."

Sarge looked down at himself.

"This is standard issue, nothing special."

Liz just hugged him tighter.

Luke watched them and took off his gloves, revealing his metal hands. Gills looked at him.

"What are those?" she asked.

He looked at her.

"My hands, Gills."

"But they don't look like that."

Luke looked at her.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you." He stood up, took off his jacket, revealing a T-shirt that looked like a top but left arms and shoulders bare, showing the mechanics. Gills looked at him in horror.

"Oh, shit..." Peter said.

Luke raised his arms and moved them.

"There's a lot of dangerous stuff out there."

Lynx looked at him.

"Says the guy who wants to go diving on a death planet."

Luke grinned.

"It was worth it, the landscape there is phenomenal."

Lynx sighed and stroked Pinx, who had fallen asleep.

"We found him there about a month after he'd left you, and he already had arms... and legs. So if you have someone on your planet impersonating him, it can't be him."

Sara looked at Peter.

"That's right, it was always just his radiant form."

"Luke, I have a question, what are your plans?" Gills asked.

Luke put on his jacket.

"Plans?" He looked at them.

"Oh, I hope Pinx is fast asleep when I bring Lynx to bed. Gills, I never wanted to be president, it was forced on me. I wanted to make the world a better place so that people would have a chance to play in the galactic game. I've had a lot of time to think about my life, Gills. I realized that I made a lot of mistakes, that I was too naive."

She looked at him questioningly.

"Didn't they say what happened in the accident?"

She shook her head.

"Only that you committed treason."

Peter nodded.

"The machine teleported me, but not into the present but into the past. To cut a long story short, I saw sides of people I'd never seen before."

Peter looked at Gills.

"That explains Kia's changed behavior."

Gill groaned.

"He doesn't like her. She messed things up with me."

"Okay. So, plan, now I don't have one. I'll make you a suggestion. We'll take your toxic waste, then Arabic coffee and coffee from Leo, what's Bill doing?"

"He's getting drunk at fashion shows."

"Good, tell them we want Bill at the next meeting here because of the fashion. When will the moon city be opened?"

"In three months," Liz replied dully.

"The advertising is huge, the moon is boring..." Then she suddenly looked at him.

"Your little sister is also getting married on the moon on that day. First wedding, etc., etc."

"Well then."

The next day the four of them flew back, and they received word very quickly that they had accepted the deal. Liz was very reluctant to leave. Transport ships were sent to Earth, loaded up with the garbage and flown to the processing plants. The first deliveries of coffee, biscuits, wine, corned beef and sweets arrived. All worthless things for Earth, but Luke knew that they could be sold here.

Luke took Paul to the core planet, his father hugged Paul, showed him around. Luke then had to organize the return flight for him. When he heard from his father, he had to sign tons of white contracts. When he asked him why, his father just laughed and said that he had founded the label with Paul back then and that Paul was a genius at negotiating, but musically he couldn't match him.

Luke thought to himself, 'yeah right... but then play together for hours and show the students how it's done'.

Three months later, he entered the moon with an escort. The Empress was very reluctant to let him come, so there were now several heavy cruisers, frigates and even a planet killer in front of the moon.

Luke wore a breathing mask to hide his teeth. He was wearing a Galactic Guard suit. The suit looked like a cross between a Sith outfit and an army uniform, dark red. Lynx walked next to Luke with Pinx on her hand, who walked next to her.

Ned and Nad didn't want to come, they had had enough of Earth. The two had what they wanted, Luke.

They were greeted by Earl, who had expected Ned's race and turned pale when he saw that it was the Empire. Lynx smiled.

"Hello Earl, I see you're doing well, but you've put on quite a bit of weight."

Earl quickly recognized Lynx, who looked more mature since she had had Pinx.

"Lynx? I didn't even recognize you. Why are you with the..."

"Hm? Oh yes, I found a job. Contact."

He was nervous.

"Earl, will you lead us to the ceremony now?"

"Of course..." he stared at Luke.

"Who is that?" he asked cautiously.

Lynx smiled.

"A guard, Earl."

"I can see that... but why a guard..?"

She smiled.

"Because it is the will of the Empress, Earl."

He led her silently through the corridor into the city, which looked like a cliché, a small, perfect world.

"Earl, what kind of sphere of influence is the moon?" she asked.

"Well... it's classified as a colony. They're still working on making the connection to Earth smoother."

"I see, so it's a gray area?"

"Something like that..."

They were led to a festively decorated square and taken to the VIP area. Luke looked around. He saw familiar faces, but also many new ones. He saw Earl, who dusted himself off, purring as he walked towards Alex, who was standing at the podium, John and Kia with him. Alex looked at Earl questioningly.

"He probably didn't expect it either," came from Lynx.

"Well, they only noticed the essentials."

Alex stepped onto the podium and the crowd cheered.

"Today is a great day for our planet! The step into space that our ancestors always dreamed of!"

The crowd cheered.

Luke fell silent.

"We are celebrating three great things today: first, this city; second, the first wedding to take place here; and third, to our great relief!"

The crowd fell silent.

Guards dragged a bound Luke onto the stage.

"He really looks a lot like you, at least the old you."

"Yes. They even managed to get the eyes right."

Alex cleared his throat.

"After a long chase, we have finally captured the traitor! He will be executed here today!"

The crowd cheered.

Alex drew a weapon and shot the bound man in the back of the head from behind, the crowd cheered louder and louder.

Luke walked away slowly, the crowd grew alarmingly quiet as they saw Luke walk onto the stage with the escort and Lynx.

Even Alex stared at him, as did Kia and John, with an expression on their faces as if they couldn't believe what he was doing.

Luke stopped two meters in front of him and clapped, his metal hands making an eerie sound.

"I am allowed to congratulate you on behalf of the Trade Alliance on your first colonization and we hope that you will remain our trading partner."

"Thank you..." Alex managed. The hatchway had thrown him off his stride.

"The designated representative is ill, so I was given the task of conveying my congratulations. To put your mind at rest, the last transport of your toxic waste will now leave the planet and eliminate the problem. You have the option to arrange further shipments when the amount reaches the minimum.

Do you recognize the diplomatic immunity of the delegation?"

Alex blinked.

"Uh, yes, of course. Thank you."

Only now did he recognize Lynx, who smiled.

"You..."

Luke raised a finger.

"Not forgotten immunity, politeness."

Luke looked at the crowd, all gawkers.

"Let's get down to business. I wanted to invite Mr. Tennigton to design a costume for a bigwig of my employer and take it with me. Production facilities are on site."

"Bill, get your drunk ass over here," he heard quietly from Kia.

Bill was led away by guards, he looked terrible. He walked past the body, hunched over. An escort took him away.

"If I may ask, why Tennigton? He has for years..."

"Smuggled clothes that were picked up, the client liked them. It took a while to track down the culprit."

Alex looked at him silently.

Luke made a hand gesture and the body began to rise as if on strings and floated limply towards him.

"So that's their traitor." He looked at the body, it really looked like him when he was in office. Luke turned it around, his implanted eyes scanned the body, it was the doppelganger they had used back then.

"Congratulations," the body slumped to the ground with a crash, blood splattered on the floor and hit Alex.

Kia lunged forward, crashed into an invisible wall and was flung against Alex.

"Ah, my mistake."

Kia snarled.

"I want a bank cart!"

Earl slapped his hand over his face.

"Oh, a duel, you know there's a bet. Fine by me. What do you want?"

She hissed.

"That you lick his shoes and apologize."

"Ah, very noble. Good, I accept. Then I may decide your fate and your existence belongs to me..."

"Fine by me!"

Luke took a step back. Alex went up to Earl and seemed to ask him something.

Kia ran at Luke like a crazed cat and bombarded him with all the techniques she had learned. Luke dodged with minimal movements and went on the attack.

He wanted to see how fast she was, she dodged his first blow, which tore away a steel girder. Luke saw panic in her eyes. Now he could start his hunting game. So he rushed her mercilessly, pounding on her until she sank to her knees, vomiting blood.

"What should I do with you now, hm?"

She was breathing heavily, and he saw the pure panic and fear in her eyes.

He put his hand on her head, and Kia winced.

"Oh, I know, your life belongs to me now," he tapped his finger on her head and looked at the crowd that was staring at him.

"Or did you want her dead? Like a traitor?" He reached for Kia's weapon.

The crowd fell silent.

"Just as I expected," he said, crushing the weapon in his hand and letting it drop to the ground.

He reached for the breathing mask, took it off and squatted down in front of Kia, who looked at him in shock.

"You were always lazy when it came to training," he said so loudly that only she could hear it. Her eyes widened, she backed away, bumped into the corpse, screamed and collapsed.

Luke laughed and walked towards his escort.

"Just a moment!" Alex came closer, medics rushed to Kia to take care of her, then stopped abruptly when Luke looked at him, now he recognized him.

"Really, congratulations on the colonization," Luke pointed at Pinx, who was snoring on Lynx's arm.

"Your great-granddaughter."

He looked at him in amazement, then at Pinx.

"You removed the barriers?"

"Of course. You shouldn't believe Earl every crap he wants to sell you. So why all this?"

Alex fell silent.

"Come on. In a moment."

Alex finished the rest of the show and the celebrations began. Afterwards, they were led to an observatory.

Luke lit a cigarette.

He had sent Lynx to the ship to take Bill there. Now he was alone with Alex and John.

Alex looked out the window and then at Luke.

"I owe you an apology, even if it won't be enough."

Luke took a drag on his cigarette.

"We had a mole on Mars, one of Kia's Exhydra. '

'And Kia's behavior?"

"A brainwashing of the worst kind. We were able to reprogram her, but..."

He looked guiltily at Luke.

"You saw it." "

"I see, so you killed the traitor for Mars?"

"Yes... John intercepted the mole. Earth reaped the harvest. Mars has its fingers in the pie. We were able to intercept capsules with infected people from Mars. We are at war, so to speak, and it is my fault. I was the one who brought you the stuff for the PR and encouraged you back then."

Luke took a drag, went to an ashtray and flicked the ash into it.

His radio trembled. He spoke.

"Sir, several missiles are heading towards us, the scanners have detected biological weapons."

"Target?"

"Planet below us, sir. Projections indicate 100% contamination if the missiles hit the planet."

"Open fire."

"Understood."

Through the window, you could see the ships opening fire and hitting something.

"Bring the mole here," Luke said.

John looked at him.

"You can't just..."

Luke looked at John.

"John, I had to open fire because missiles were flying towards ships with biological weapons, of course I can."

"Just do it, John. We've already failed to get defensive weapons."

John sighed and mumbled something into his radio. A few minutes later, a blonde and a brunette were dragged in and thrown in front of them.

"Fuck you, you're going to die!" came from the blonde.

"We're killing the planet!" came from the brunette.

Luke looked at them both, pulled on the butt.

"Who the hell are you, anyway?" came from the blonde.

"Oh, that slang, I'm your death and that of your friends on Mars, in short." He stubbed out the butt and slowly approached them.

"Pah!" Luke put his hand on her head and crushed it effortlessly. Brunette screamed.

"Ai, establish a holo-connection to Mars," Luke said. Ai obeyed. A sphere built up, the other flickered. He saw the aged face of the feminist.

Luke grabbed the brunette by the head, lifted her up and smashed her skull.

"You're next, fire order to all cruisers. Target Mars colony."

"Ha! What the..."

She paled, looked at the screen.

Through the window, they could see the cruisers opening fire, firing from all tubes and covering the Martian surface. The holoimage cut out.

The feminist materialized in front of Luke and looked at him in panic.

He grabbed her by the throat.

"You won't die that easily."

"Fuck you!!! What are you anyway?" she blurted out.

Luke grinned.

"Oh, don't you recognize me? Your elixir of life?"

"He was killed!"

Luke flicked her on the forehead and her eyes turned milky.

"Damn," came only from John, who stared at her.

"Sir, an escape rocket in the scanning area."

"Fire, we've offended the Empress."

"Aye, sir."

A large cannon on the ship swung and fired.

"Earl never told me..." John broke out.

"Earl's species avoids contact with the Empire, they only ever see patrolling fleets. That reminds me..."

Luke pulled out two neon-colored pieces of paper and gave them to John.

"Give them to Earl."

John took them and looked at him.

"What is it?"

"He has to pay child support; his ex-wife has filed a lawsuit with the Empire."

"Is there anyone still living on Mars?" Alex asked, looking out the window at Luke.

"No, everyone is dead."

"Can the defense systems even…"

"Yes, the range extends to just before Mars."

Luke had the woman teleported onto the ship and packed into a stasis capsule.

They went to the medical area, where Kia was lying on a couch. A doctor finished his treatment and stared at Luke.

"She's not fit to have visitors."

"Huh..." Luke pushed him aside. Kia slapped her hand against her forehead.

She opened her eyes with difficulty, froze when she saw him, the measuring instruments started up. She tried to escape. He put his hand on her head.

"Ai, what has Kia done?"

The Ai straightened up, standing confidently.

"Saskia Steel, formerly Miles, married Dillen D. Orsten two years ago, divorced him two months later, then Sandy Charles for five weeks."

Luke looked at her and grinned.

"Well, well, you've been busy."

She stared at him, then looked at John and Alex and then back at Luke.

"Hm, you've been well brainwashed."

Luke pressed several points on her neck.

She looked at him emotionlessly.

Luke squeezed the tip of her nose. She blinked in confusion, her eyes widened even more and she vomited to the side.

"What are you doing?" came from the doctor.

"I restarted her brain."

"That can't be!"

Luke looked at the doctor.

"A thousand years ago, people said that you can't travel fast. But it is possible."

"A burly woman came into the room.

"WTF Kia! What the fuck? Let yourself be beaten by a guy," she stopped talking when she saw who was present.

"Ah Miss Charles," Luke said.

"Right! Chairwoman of the Women's Organization for

Pinx pressed herself violently against Luke's face.

"Wants biscuits!" she said.

"She has the same sense of timing as Lynx..." John said.

Luke gave herself a hug.

"Biscuits?"

Pinx nodded.

"Mom said we're going to get cookies... with chocolate," she chuckled at the last part.

Luke patted her on the head.

Lynx appeared shortly thereafter and had to catch her breath.

"Whew, she's feisty. At least she always knows where you are."

"You too."

Lynx grinned and looked at Charles.

"Oh, there are wild animals on the moon too."

Charles made a contemptuous sound.

Luke snapped his fingers and Charles's eyes rolled.

"More politeness, for what kind of club?"

"We stand for the club against racism and for the higher status of women."

"I see."

Luke looked at Alex.

"They want more performance from them, but less from themselves. I always told them that they should do their part, like everyone else."

"Charles, look at me."

She acted like a doll.

"Why did you get involved with Kia?"

"She has contacts in high places and she's a drunk. Me and two others from Mars were tasked with sabotaging everything until the attack begins."

"Really only three?"

Charles nodded slowly.

"We were chosen because the weak system doesn't need more than that. One to sabotage the military system, one to correct the defense systems, and one to correct the target."

Kia retched again.

Pinx stared at her, mesmerized.

"Mom, she's throwing up more than a blarg!"

Lynx sighed.

"You spend too much time with your grandpa."

Pinx chuckled.

"What's a blarg…" John murmured.

"Imagine a pig crossed with a cow, a moose and a chicken," Luke commented.

He tilted his head.

"The canned meat you imported comes from them.

"Ah, it has become a staple food."

Luke snapped his fingers and Charles turned around, she blinked.

"WTF!!!"

"So, now you have someone else to interrogate."

She tried to move, the guards grabbed her.

"Take her to the isolation cell."

"Mine!"

"Your accomplices are dead, like Mars."

"No! You're lying."

Ai called up satellite images showing the pockmarked surface where the Mars colony had been and the shredded rocket.

Luke looked from Kia to her. As she was dragged out.

John went with her and took the doctor with him.

Kia looked at Luke with suppressed eyes.

"I..."

"Yes, you're a nut."

She fell silent.

"Am I going to be executed like Sandy?" she said.

Luke snapped her forehead.

"That's your punishment, you're going to rehab and then apologize to everyone you've scared away."

She fell silent.

"But I can't apologize to," she stared ahead.

"Dad cookies!" came spontaneously from Pinx, who climbed up to him and laid her head on his.

Kia blinked irritated and looked at Pinx.

"Dad?"

Luke patted her head. She looked at Lynx.

"Hey, nut," she said grinning.

"But on the golf course there..."

Pinx leaned forward and hit Kia on the head.

"Dad is indestructible! Wahaha," she stretched and raised her arms.

Lynx sighed and lifted Pinx from Luke.

"You wanted biscuits, didn't you?"

Pinx looked at her.

"But mom, she's stupid, even grandma recognized Dad immediately."

Lynx sighed.

"That's your grandma."

Pinx slipped out of Lynx's arm and floated towards Alex. She looked at him intently.

"Biscuits," she said eerily.

"We should never have imported that stuff..." Lynx sighed.

"Alex, do you have any with you?"

He looked at her, confused.

"Uh, yes, but only the ration biscuits from breakfast."

He pulled a half-opened package out of his jacket pocket. Pinx stared at the package.

Luke looked from Kia to her.

"Pinx."

She looked from the cookie to him.

"Your manners?"

Pinx looked at him and then at Alex.

"Can I have a cookie, please, Papa from Grandma?" she asked very politely.

Alex looked at her.

"She's really yours?"

Pinx turned upside down and continued staring at the cookie.

Alex gave her a cookie, which she eagerly examined, sniffed and then nibbled with relish.

"Soon I'll have an army of sisters!" She giggled and nibbled some more.

Alex looked at Luke.

"She heard from a playmate that mating means. So you can imagine the rest."

Kia looked at him.

"But you look different."

Luke looked at her, then switched his attention to the president's appearance. Pinx looked at Kecks.

"Bah... dad has that ugly face again."

"Why do you say that?" Alex asked.

Pinx looked at Alex.

"That's a lie," she nibbled on the biscuit. "And Grandma says you shouldn't lie."

Luke grinned.

"Better like that, yeah?" Kia looked at him.

"I think I should stop using this face from now on. So think of it as special."

"Sorry, I was going through everything in my mind... power, money, luxury, sex..."

He patted her head.

"But have you ever been serious, Kia?"

She looked at her hands.

"After everything I've done, yes, but it was like looking in a mirror."

She didn't look up.

Luke took on his old form.

"You're doing your detox and then the apology or during it. After that, we'll talk about it."

Pinx burped. He looked at Alex.

"Grandma looks sad."

Alex smiled.

"Yes. It didn't go as well as I had hoped and I've scared everyone away."

Pinx turned around on the spot, continued to look at him headlong. She pressed herself to his head and crumbled the remains of the biscuit onto him. She broke away, grinning.

"Pinx." 'Lynx sighed. 'He's not a Jalaner, where that would work."

Pinx looked at her mother.

"But Pa'ang said it's the ultimate pick-me-up. Dad's getting better and better!"

"Yes, because at some point he got hold of Jalaner genes."

Pinx continued to spin around. Alex smiled.

"Thanks, just out of curiosity. Why is she with you and not with children her own age? And aren't children called space fairies? "

"Huh... You're the one who started reading the instructions."

Lynx ruffled Pinx's hair.

"Pinx can switch between the phases of nature and magic." "Yes, that's why they're closely guarded and after my father said that he would hunt down the entire syndicate behind the one who dares to approach her or do something devious. 90% of my kind are afraid and the other children "

"Are boring, just blah, blah, my dad is prince blah." Lynx sighed.

"Yes. And after she told her former playmates that her dad kicks their parents' asses and then eats them, they asked us not to bring her anymore."

"And what makes her think that?"

Pinx chuckled.

"Dad punched Plunx's dad in the face and he flew across the room."

Lynx looked at Luke.

"What? I apologized, but I can't let him call you a fat ass with saggy tits."

"And I told you that it was just a game of provocation. Well, since then Pinx has been going to a mixed-gender facility."

Pinx chuckled.

Luke took Pinx out of rotation and gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"Can you take me to my sister? '

Alex nodded.

'You can see Kia."

They left the station and Alex led them to the civilian sector. They had to teleport to Earth because the festivities were taking place on Earth.

They walked from the teleporter to the hall.

"Can the generators really supply the cities?" Alex asked.

"Yes. And Filter Station 8 also cleans the air."

"Filter Station?"

"Yes. Mount Roushmoore, it's down there."

"And how do you turn it on?"

"With the table."

Alex was silent.

"Yeah. That's going to be difficult... Jannet broke it when she went crazy."

Luke had to laugh.

"Yeah. But I also have to tell you that I stole the original and replaced it with a copy. "

He looked at Luke in horror for a moment and then shook his head.

"And I didn't even realize it."

They arrived, the doors opened automatically, he took a step, Alex stopped.

Luke looked at him.

"This is not a good idea..."

"Nonsense, Pinx gave you the ultimate comforter. "

He put his arm around him and pulled him along.

They walked through a corridor to a new door, from which came the sound of people celebrating and music.

"Are you sure?" asked Lynx, who was holding a snoring Pinx.

Luke smiled at her.

"Of course. And I want to deliver the greetings personally, my mom wants that."

"You could have sent a holonews."

"Where's the thrill in that?"

He opened the door with such a swing that it slammed loudly against the wall and got stuck.

"Ha! It's the same room as Liz's," he said, stepping inside.

Everyone was there, except for Sarge and his parents, even Sara, Gill and Peter were there. Everyone fell silent and stared in shock at the door. Jannet saw Alex.

"What are you doing here? And who the hell is that?"

Luke looked at Alex.

He remained silent.

"Oh!"

He just walked in and saw his little sister.

Jannet came towards him angrily and wanted to grab him. He just walked through her. Gitte and Min tried it as well.

Luke stopped in front of the bride, she looked at him very questioningly, then her eyes got really big.

Luke embraced her.

"All the best, I'm supposed to pass on congratulations from Mom and Dad. She now has her own practice and her ears are full of patients."

Tears ran down her cheek.

"And Dad?"

"He's a music teacher, teaching the aliens how to play metal."

Lynx had followed her, looking around.

"Pretty Spartan..." she said.

Luke looked at Alex, who was still standing at the entrance, and snapped, as if he were being pulled by an invisible hand.

Everyone fell silent, and Jannet came puffing closer. Pinx woke up, looked around, and saw Jannet.

"Mom! Grandma was right, she looks like an ogre! And that one looks like a gorilla, and that one too!"

"The movie collection doesn't have that much influence on her." Luke grinned. Jannet, Gitte and Min stopped.

Luke reached for Pinx and turned her to the bride.

"Look, this is my little sister."

Pinx raised one arm.

"Hello. Congratulations on the royal wedding!!!"

"Pinx, that's what the Pirgen do, she's made the covenant, like your mom and me."

Pinx looked from Luke to the bride.

"Oha, can I have another biscuit?"

Luke hugged her and gave her to Alex, who looked at him questioningly.

"You had the biscuits."

Then he looked at the others.

"Liz, you can come with us tomorrow."

She beamed, Tereen looked at her questioningly.

"We're going to your father."

Luke lit a cigarette.

"And who told you that I'm dead?"

"Earl," his sister replied.

Luke laughed.

"Earl... well..."

He looked at Peter Gills and Sara.

"Welcome to the family."

Janett was still puffing.

"What kind of game are you playing here, Alex?!"

"Phew phew phew," Luke snapped at her. She looked at him angrily.

"Yes, he screwed up and after all these years you and the other three have forgotten that he is too uncomfortable to talk about his thoughts. "

She stared at him, a vein throbbing on her forehead.

"What are you saying?" she growled.

Luke grinned and blew a cloud of smoke in her face.

"I'm saying that you've screwed up just as much as he has. But so that you understand it in your fucked-up brain."

He took a drag on the fag. Babsi was the only one of the three to look at him silently.

"Yes, I'd be interested in that too, Liz said something, Earl said something and Alex too," she said.

Luke grinned.

"She said hi too, mom says you're are like grandpa a dappischer Zipfelklatscher ( bavarian insult like bumbling fool ." Her face slipped away.

"What's a..." Pinx asked Alex, but failed at the pronunciation.

"Let's make it short. I'm not dead, what died on the moon was a doppelganger. The teleporter hurled me into the past when it exploded, far into the past. And then the idiots, ah ex-idiots, started to sabotage Mars. I didn't know that then, and neither did Grandpa. So I buggered off and just wanted an answer from him. Nothing more. "

He took a drag on his cigarette.

"And being who he was, and recognizing Mars, he did what he had to do to try to prevent the planet's destruction."

"What do you mean, Mars..." Liz asked.

"I destroyed them. They shot rockets here with the stuff that is there, and as far as I know, it was not the first time that they have done something like that. So..."

He took a few steps.

"Yes, he sent agents to get new weapons, but the chips only work here."

"Anyone can make up a story like that, and I wouldn't put it past Alex!" growled Jannet.

Luke took a drag on his cigarette and tapped Jannet's forehead with his fingers.

"I'll put it more precisely. If I hadn't come here to congratulate my sister on her wedding because my family is important to me. Would you now be brainless creatures, you Jannet may have shredded a copy of the command table. But it was set up so that he could still control the systems, including the defenses on the moon. Which would have prevented something like this."

"

He looked at his jacket, which was covered in drool from the Kecks. He sighed. He took off his jacket and shook it out.

"So much for the promise that the liquid is repellent," he said to Lynx, who grinned.

"I told you, those are just advertising promises."

Jannet stared at her mechanical arms, just like Rest.

"Where was I..." He pulled on the fag and stepped aside.

"Oh, right."

He looked at her. Gently pinched the tip of her nose.

"Should give you best regards from George, he says you shouldn't act like your cousin Channel. Whoever that is."

Jannet looked at him irritatedly as Pinx put her head on Luke.

"I'm thirsty, and Dad from Grandma doesn't have anything to drink."

She blinked at Jannet, yawned, and nodded off.

"What...?" Jannet stammered.

Luke lifted Pinx from her head and held her in his arms, placing his jacket under her head as a pillow.

Babsi had come closer.

"What does she mean by Grandma..."

Luke looked at her.

"She doesn't know all the words from here yet, so she's making stuff up. Aunt is the sister of Dad or Mom and so on."

Pinx snored. Then she woke up, blinked sleepily and looked at Babsi.

"Grandma!" she started, then looked down in confusion, feeling her chest.

"Not Grandma, she has too big boobs."

She looked at Luke.

"Grandma?" she asked.

Luke nodded.

Pinx grinned.

Luke looked at Alex, feeling that he had aged. Gitte was the first to dare to speak to him. Min shortly thereafter.

He looked back at Jannet, who looked at him in shock.

"Go to him, after so many years with you. He can't do without you."

He took Pinx.

"Let's see if we can find something for you," he didn't wait for an answer from Jannet and Babsi. He went to the buffet, Pinx looked bored at the food.

Lynx already took something.

Luke went through a few things that he gave to Pinx, who ate and then drank a can of soda.

Behind him, he heard a throat clearing. Luke turned around.

Ted was standing there with Leo, dressed up, and glared at Luke.

Pinx snatched the mini hot dog out of Luke's hand and nibbled on it. Leo looked at Pinx in surprise.

"You really have a girl?"

Lynx choked on her laughter when she heard Leo. Pinx looked at Leo questioningly.

"Nix nix," she replied.

Luke grinned.

"That's right, Pinx is Lynx and my surprise offspring."

Pinx belched and looked well-fed as she lay relaxed in his arms.

"Why do you feed her such an unhealthy diet?" Ted asked.

"There's nothing else around here and it's selected for her metabolism anyway."

"You don't bring any food?" he asked.

"Hm." He looked over at Pinx, who looked very content.

"No, when did we eat?" he looked at Lynx.

She sipped her wine.

"Last week, she threw up then."

"Oh, so that was the first and last time we had anything."

"And if you end up in the wild?"

"Hm, the locals hunted us and then prepared us."

Lynx nodded.

"He's quite a good cook now. Cooked my way through the pregnancy."

Ted handed him the casino chip.

"Take it."

Luke grinned.

"No. Ted's yours. You were man enough to say no."

He grunted.

"Then a rematch."

"We can do that."

"Why do you have robot arms and different eyes?" Leo asked.

"SUV-sized spiders, Leo."

"Urg spiders..."

A billiard-sized ball was teleported into the room and floated towards Luke. It stopped in front of him and scanned.

"What is that?"

"Hm, since I left my cell phone at home, a call," Luke commented.

A figure materialized in front of Luke, a teenager who put on a robe and sat down majestically on a throne.

"Ah, I see you're with your clan, I'll be brief. 2000 shots?!"

"Hm, wait, isn't that..." Leo piped up.

Lynx poured more.

"The owner of the ships in orbit."

She took a deep gulp.

"They insulted you, Teheen, and fired the biological weapons."

Teheen grinned.

"Oh, what did they say, Lynx?"

"That you're a flat-chested tramp who can be used and spat on by anyone, and that you don't have an ass."

She raised an eyebrow.

Lynx took another sip.

"And none of them survived?"

Lynx looked at her.

"A woman survived, a saboteur, but she only found out at the end that her comrades and the mastermind were dead."

Teheen tapped her fingernails on the arm of the throne.

"I want to see her here in front of me." "

A servant in costume entered and handed her a tablet.

"The weekly medical findings of Your Majesty."

She took it, remained silent and looked at the results.

"Ah, I don't like this silence," he lit a butt.

"Luke, you can't smoke in front of children!" Ted said.

Luke looked at him and took a drag on the butt.

"Ted, she's not human, her species doesn't care."

Lynx nodded.

Ted looked up, smiled, and put the tablet in her lap.

She switched to the language of her species. "I'm going to have a child with you, I hope for your sake it's a girl. I'm going to rub my mother's nose in this now."

She laughed and the image went out. Lynx laughed.

"I told you that this was not a good idea."

Luke blew out a cloud.

"Well, but you know that they never said a word about her?"

Lynx grinned and took a sip of his wine.

"I use every opportunity to throw an insult at her. "

He took a drag on his cigarette.

"Um... Luke."

Luke looked at Leo.

"Is there a reason why..."

"Well, she always lapses into her own language when she finds something funny."

"I see..."
