"You can keep that pill as my payment for the spatial ring and money you'll give me," Tang Yun said, surprising Jingyi even more.
"W-What! Are you sure?! T-This is a priceless pill never seen before!" Jingyi was going to give Tang Yun the spatial ring and money for free, even if he didn't want to concoct pills.
"You could potentially auction this for a significant sum, maybe hundreds of millions of Jade Stones. With that amount, you could acquire as many spatial rings as you desire!" She hoped to dissuade Tang Yun from giving her the pill, feeling uneasy tge she was taking advantage of one of her disciples.
"It's not about the money or spatial ring. I could produce numerous perfect purity pills; giving this away means little to me."
Jingyi felt her heart shatter into millions of pieces as Tang Yun casually spoke about giving away a legendary perfect purity pill as if it were trash.
"Thank you very much!" Jingyi bowed.
Witnessing the matriarch bowing in appreciation, especially to someone like Tang Yun, would undoubtedly shock anyone to death who saw it.
Tang Yun nodded, and Jingyi gave him one million Jade Stones and a high grade spatial ring with enough space to store hundreds of adults.
Little did Tang Yun know, Jingyi gave him all her Jade Stones, enough to start up a new sect.
After obtaining the money and the spatial ring, Tang Yun returned to the mission hall.
He approached the front desk and addressed the girl who had held onto his Information Jade Slip, saying, "I'm back for the Information Jade Slip."
Her eyes lit up as she noticed Tang Yun, and she asked, "Is this your first time here? I've never seen you before."
"I'm surprised you noticed; there are hundreds of disciples here every day. But yes, it is my first time here," Tang Yun responded.
"It would be impossible not to notice someone as handsome as you," she murmured.
She handed Tang Yun his Information Slip, and as he left, she realized she hadn't asked for his name.
"Did you notice how happy Fairy Lan was talking to that outer court disciple? She doesn't even make such expressions with Brother Zhu."
"That outer disciple is more handsome than Brother Zhu. It's natural for Fairy Lan and the other female disciples to react that way."
"Shush! If Brother Zhu heard you say that, you'd be in trouble!"
As Tang Yun left the sect, a guard handed him a map of the entire continent.
Fortunately, this event occurred just in time, as Tang Yun realized he didn't know his way around this world besides the sect.
Exiting the sect, Tang Yun observed the secluded surroundings, a common feature for large sects. The landscape lacked trees, with only open ground near the sect. In the distance, mountains, waterfalls, and trees created a picturesque view.
Examining the map, Tang Yun spotted a small restaurant a few miles away. Despite his time in this world, he hadn't eaten yet, prompting him to head there to dine.
As Tang Yun made his way to the restaurant, back at the sect, a lot of commotion ensued. The patriarch, matriarch, and all the elders were seated at a long rectangular table, engaged in a meeting.
The patriarch inquired of the Elders, "Any news on the whereabouts of Tao Shun?"
An Elder reported, "The guard at the front gate said he saw Tao Shun heading towards the Flame Sword Sect."
"Could he be a spy sent by the Flame Sword Sect?"
"As if a sect as powerful as the Flame Sword Sect would bother with us."
During the Elders' discussion, the patriarch grew uneasy contemplating Tang Yun's situation.
'Jingyi mentioned that Tang Yun went on a mission, but she is unaware of the mission's details.'
The patriarch discreetly used his communication slip to contact Elder Zi, not wanting the information he was about to tell Elder Zi to be widely known among the Elders.
"I have a task for you," echoed the patriarch's voice in Elder Zi's mind, catching him off guard.
"How can I help?" Elder Zi responded without glancing at the patriarch.
"I want you to head to the mission hall and find out the type of mission a disciple named Tang Yun took and where he went. Once you find out, contact me and go towards his location," the patriarch instructed Elder Zi, leaving Elder Bai puzzled about the interest in Tang Yun.
"Before I take the task of locating Tang Yun, it is imperative to bring to your attention that Elder Bai visited the disciplinary hall earlier in pursuit of Tao Shun. The circumstances surrounding Tao Shun's escape from a high security area without detection raise suspicions. Also, he managed to kill three of my disciples in the Mortal Qi Realm, despite being only in the Fundamental Qi Realm. While I refrain from making outright accusations, Tao Shun's capabilities isn't enough to do that," Elder Zi conveyed to the patriarch with a measured tone.
The patriarch had suspicions regarding Elder Bai, especially after the earlier encounter with Tang Yun. He had hoped that Elder Bai wouldn't do such blatant things as this, and now, the situation seemed to be unfolding in a way that heightened those concerns.
"You have my gratitude for sharing this information. I will investigate the matter," The Patriarch responded.
Elder Zi respectfully excused himself from the ongoing meeting and proceeded to the mission hall. Upon entering, the disciples collectively expressed their respect, saying, "This disciple greets Elder Zi!"
Elder Zi acknowledged their greetings with a nod and then approached the front desk where the girl inner court disciple was stationed. "I need information on a mission assigned to a disciple named Tang Yun. What type of mission did he take, and where is he headed?"
The confusion deepened on her face when Elder Zi mentioned Tang Yun. "I don't know any disciple by that name that came here today. Do you know how he looks by any chance?" Meng Lan inquired.
"He has white hair," Elder Zi responded.
