After drinking two bowls of red date soup, Claudia Ross finally regained some strength.

The man was busy in the kitchen, and she quietly left some money on the coffee table before she slipped away quietly.

Stepping into the elevator, she took out her phone.

Nana Monty had called her several times, but her father and Wyatt Perry hadn't tried to contact her.

Claudia didn't want to go back to the Rosses, so she took a taxi to see Nana Monty.

Since it was the weekend and Nana Monty wasn't working, she had ordered takeout and was waiting for Claudia to come over for a meal.

As soon as Claudia entered, Nana exclaimed, "God, your face is as pale as a ghost's. It's just a divorce, what's the big deal? There's no need to make yourself look so haggard, as if you're neither human nor ghost. Even if you demean yourself further, no one is going to pity you."

"Is it really that terrifying?" Claudia touched her face.

"Would I joke about this?"
