[Then don't come back.]
[...]
[I don't know about others, but I certainly don't like it.]
[Got it.]
Claudia Ross sent Wyatt Perry a stealing-a-laugh emoji, and Wyatt replied with a wronged-face emoji.
[Wyatt, you're becoming more and more adorable.] She held her phone, laughing so hard she was leaning from side to side.
[Wasn't I adorable before?]
Wyatt looked at the word "adorable" and smiled sweetly.
For a man in his thirties, "adorable" was definitely an insulting word, akin to "idiot", but Wyatt wasn't angry because it was his beloved woman who called him "adorable". He was willing to become "adorable" for her.
Over the years, the only adjectives used to describe him had been "cold, cruel, proud, and unapproachable", and it was only in Claudia's eyes that he could ever be associated with "adorable".
Hailey Jack went in to deliver documents to Wyatt and saw him grinning foolishly at his phone, so shocked that she almost dropped the papers in her hands.
