This was clearly a case of making things worse in trying to hide them.
It looked nothing like nothing was wrong.
Claudia Ross pulled away from Mrs. Perry's hands and saw several slap marks on her face, infuriated, "Mom, who hit you?"
"I... I don't know..."
Mrs. Perry was so wronged she started shedding tears.
It was Claudia Ross's first day at work, and Mrs. Perry had gone to the mall specifically to buy a gift for Claudia Ross.
Yet, as she walked on the street, suddenly a few women rushed out, berating her as a mistress, accusing her of destroying another family.
The women grabbed her, slapped her several times, and messed up her hair. If not for the security guards arriving in time, she would have been beaten even worse.
The finger marks on Mrs. Perry's fair face were especially conspicuous, showing how harsh the attackers had been.
Claudia Ross gritted her teeth, "It must be that bitch from Black Mountain."
