Chapter 40 : Let Go

*Morgan*

The next morning, I wake up in my new room. It’s very similar looking to my old room, so it takes me a second to remember the past few days' events. After Shane and I’s heated kiss, we didn’t have a chance to talk because he was pulled away for important pack business. I yawn and get out of bed.

Someone – I’m pretty sure it was Shane – moved all my things into my new room. As I get ready for the day, I think about how I hope I get to have a conversation with Shane about what he’s thinking and how he feels about us. I choose a light blue dress, and I spend more time on my hair than usual.

I no longer have to walk downstairs because my new room is on the first floor. The house is hectic while everyone is continuing to organize and unpack. In the kitchen, I find Tanya and a few other shifters eating breakfast. My friend drops her wooden spoon when she sees me and runs over to give me a bear hug.
