Chapter 1: Lost Little Young Master

Standing up from the mess of pots and pans stood Li Yueying, a young man who could only be described as beautiful. He had long, shiny silver hair with a little pink at the base that he had tied up into a simple bun. His eyes, a pale and soft pink, were as picturesque and round as the moon, his skin was pale and soft despite being raised in a village and his lips were soft and pink. He had a straight back, long legs and a straight nose with very gentle looking eyebrows. Compared to all the other males in the village, Li Yueying had the beauty and looks of an immortal, though when it came to the grace of the so-called immortal, he would become less of a lofty immortal and more of Ariel after she became human and tried to walk on land, which basically translated to him being extremely clumsy, so clumsy that it became painful to watch. Like how one time, he offered to help some of the village's construction workers in repairing a recently damaged house. They were all sceptical and tried to tell him that they didn't need any help at the moment but being the big "helper" that he was, Yueying adamantly continued to ask if they needed help. The workers ended up agreeing and even watched him very closely, trying to make sure that he wouldn't break something, or himself for that matter, but this was still useless at the end of the day. Li Yueying had managed to not only break 5 bones (3 of them being his fingers and the rest his toes), but he had also managed to set all the wood they had brought in on fire, and the damaged house was also nearly set on fire.

Despite this, none of the construction workers blamed him for it and instead only shook their heads hopelessly and carried him to the village nurse. Everybody knew that Yueying was a hard worker, though that doesn't necessarily mean he was a good one, still, everyone in the village loved him and pampered him possibly because he had no memory of his parents when he was first brought to Moon Village by one of the village aunties all those years ago who had spotted a cute and weak-looking child in the bushes. He had a blistering fever and there were bruises and blisters found all over his body. Luckily, the aunty that found him was quick on her feet and he was able to recover from the fever. Afterwards, everyone tried to ask him if he had parents, or where they were, and other such questions but the only thing he could remember was his name and age apart from that, he had no recollection of who his parents were. The villagers were sympathetic towards him and decided to raise him as their own. Though, something that must be noted is the clothes he wore when he was first found alone in that forest. Of course, it was scratched up a bit since he himself had all sorts of injuries on his body, though, even in the state of his clothes, anyone with eyes could see that they were made of very good quality and seemed to be very expensive as well. It was then concluded that perhaps, he was the young master from some rich house in the land of the Moon but since he didn't remember anything apart from his name and age, they were never able to find his home. Though, the villagers couldn't help wondering what a little young master as cute as him, be doing all alone in the forest, with injuries and a fever, nonetheless. Even know they still don't know though they didn't think it was all that important and took him in and raised him with love and care, even though he usually made a mess of things, they still cherished their A-Bai and he managed to grow into a fine, but clumsy, young man who now stood in the middle of the huge mess he had made.

"Why does this always happen?", said Yueying. He felt a little gloomy as he wasn't able to cook without making a mess...again. He could never understand why, but he had a certain love for cooking. Perhaps it was the way the pots and pans felt in his hands, or the way the steam came out of the hot, boiling pots of broth, either way, he loved all of it, from the very beginning to the end. Unfortunately, due to his nature of messing up/completely obliterating everything he touches, he was never able to properly cook anything, and of course, being the kind-hearted lad that he was, he couldn't always keep trying as the village aunties would always faint when they the mess he would make, and he obviously couldn't keep trying right??

And that was exactly what he did. He stayed away from the kitchen, didn't touch ANY pots, serving spoons or any of the sort, and everyone in the village felt relieved, that is of course until today. He had originally intended to continue to stay away from cooking, but he couldn't. It was calling out to him "Yueying, Yueying, I know you want to cook". Yueying didn't want to before, but now he really couldn't resist. Though, with his last bit of restraint he tried to shake it off but, in the end, the kitchen won which brings us to the present.

Now the village sisters and aunties in charge of cooking had entered the scene. Yueying had originally waited to be scolded to death by them, but they never did. Instead, they all told him, very dearly, to leave the kitchen and go play.

"A-Bai, don't worry about cleaning the mess, just go outside", one of them said. "Are you hungry? I could make something for you".

Yueying felt extremely guilty at this point and his eyes started to water. They didn't blame him for something that was clearly his fault and even helped him clean it up.

All of them were still smiling at him, when suddenly, he put his head down in a very respectful bow.

"I'm sorry", he said. Immediately afterwards, he ran out of the kitchen and headed into the forest. They all called after him, but due to the sheer guilt he felt, he managed to block out their calls and he even increased his speed.

After running for a while, he stopped to catch his breath. Well, to say he ran for a while would be incorrect, he had actually not gone very far as he wasn't really an athletic person. But he was very good at getting lost, just like now, he had managed to get lost in the forest, next to the village he grew up in. How you may ask, well, Yueying had always had a very non-existent sense of direction AND a poor memory so no matter how many times he walked on a path, or a particular street, he was never able to remember how to make his way back to the village. So now, he was once again hopelessly lost in the very same forest he was found in.

By now, Yueying had calmed down and no longer felt like crying, though the rims of his eyes were red. It was only when he sat down on a random log of wood that he suddenly realized he was lost.

"Where am I?", he said, smiling with a blank look on his face. Now surrounded by a mass of tall, thick trees, Yueying looked left, and the right and concluded that truly he was lost. He then stood up and made an attempt to find his way back to the village, but to no avail. Unlike all the other times where he could still find various things that were akin to the things he saw in the village and use them to find his way, he wasn't able to spot any of them this time. Realizing this, Yueying started to get a little worried. Still, he continued to trudge on, in an attempt find his way home.

After 30 minutes or so, Yueying was still not able to find any of the signs he had usually used to find his way home and was starting to get a little tired. He found a large stone to sit on and rested for some time. He also felt a little parched but since he didn't exactly stop on his way to the forest to grab a water flask in the middle of his emotional breakdown, there was nothing he could do. So, Yueying continued to sit on the stone, restoring his energy, when he heard the sound of a person's footsteps behind him.

"Who's there?!".
