the beginning was great, as in many other novels. However, as time passes and you continue reading, you start to notice inconsistencies. one such is that there is no clear passing of time. another is how the Mc, despite living in the apocalypse for 2 and a half years (based on the fact that he reincarnated to 3 years before he died and there were 6 months until the zombie apocalypse started) his preparations were horrible, and even if you want to say that he panicked, yo don't panic for 6 whole months (that I still don't understand how time passed). for example, how can he be so sure that city A was safe if he wasn't there during the apocalypse? what, staying in the apocalypse for 2 and a half years aren't enough to know not to trust some baseless rumor? then is the fact that despite having 6 months, 6 months, to prepare, and from the start saying that he needed an armored car, he failed not to find one, but to look for one. and you are also saying that he spent almost all his money, when he had 300M dollars minimum without taking the sales of the shares into account. in what did he spend that ungodly amount of money? do you really not understand how money works or the princes of stuff? Also, why did he get separated from everyone he is close to, instead of taking them with him? Why didn't he ask Shawn if he could get the armored vehicle? Another point I have that further proves my point is that if he wanted to go to another city to seek refuge, why go at the last possible moment? the only logical reason he had to stay in city M was to get the weapons from Shawn, everything else he could get in city A, except for the seeds that he went to buy in another city, by plane. the order of things then should've been (after getting out of the company) talk to Shawn to get the weapons and Luke to sell the brand stuff, make some simple preparations like buying flour and the rest during the day, next day go meet with Shawn to finish everything and get some solar panels as well as gas stoves with gas containers. (still think it's dumb to get gas one he can just get an electrical stove and have it be powered by the solar panels, or better yet, a generator, but let's not talk about this). the next day get the weapons and go to city M (I think) to buy all the seeds and fruits from the village, then go to city A and once there go to the real state agent that you talked whilst on the plane to get a house outside the city and the same apartment he got. then talk to him to make several remodelations to secure the house and have a bunker made, if possible a nuclear bunker, whilst living in the apartment for the next months while the remodelations take place while also preparing the rest of the stuff. and there you have it, if you want I can even go in depth in what the preparations would be during the 5 months (bc apocalypse started 2 weeks earlier and I estimate that it would take 2 weeks to be in city A while the remodelation of the house takes place). this would be my preparations, someone with 0 experience in an actual apocalypse, if I were to follow some weird decisions the Mc had. and I promise you that my apocalypse stay would be completely different from the mc that supposedly wants peace but does nothing to get it
I really like the start of this novel. Author is doing an awesome job. Keep up with the great work! Fighting ~~[img=strong]💃🏻[img=update][img=recommend]
read until chapter 60, good start although we have some inconsistency but good read for the one that likes apocalypse world background. recommended ;)
For everyone who loves the apocalypse ,i think they will love this story. For me,is one of the Best
Overall it's not bad but it definitely needs some polishing.
Honestly, this MC made the worst preparations I've even read in apocalypse novels. I've read stories where MC only had 1 month to prepare and they achieved more than this MC in the 3 months? that he had. I'm not sure if the author is just too lazy to add the necessary details or if MC is really this short sighted. And the fact that he didn't warm all of his close friends at all is a dick/stupid move. Even if they don't believe him, he should have still tried to warn them properly. The prelude the apocalypse just seems like half-ass writing to me from the author. Most preparation MC did before are just mentioned once and then never again, no follow up. And just saying that MC completed 'minor' security precautions earlier because the author couldn't bother to write about it in detail. All in all, I'm disappointed with the beginning of this book. 😕
