CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

"Shadow! I knew you'd accept." Onyx said cheerfully, sitting in the middle of a grassy clearing. "I'm not here to accept-" Shadow started, but Onyx's face hardened, slowly turning to stone. But he was still grinning, his eyes now slightly frenzied. ?!?!?!?!?!?! Are you trying to turn this into a horror scene, dude?!

"Oh, dear. You have to."

Instantly, about 30 clan cats sprung out from the bushes around the clearing, hissing. Thunderclan? That's unbelievably low. "Right, Shadow, you never told me… what did you get from the spring?" I whispered, and Shadow opened his mouth. Two long white fangs glinted in the light. "My claws are poisonous too," Shadow said, and I nodded. Made sense.

"Uhm, Shadow, we can take them, but…Do you want to hurt your clan?" I asked. Shadow shook his head. "I don't." Wahhh, turns out my bias was also a heartthrob. Bruh. "It's fine. We can go along with them for now."

"We?" Shadow asked, and I let out a loud purr. "I won't abandon you, Shadow."

Onyx was still grinning in the middle of the clearing, to the point where I wanted to claw his face off. All the cats padded after him into Thunderclan camp, tension in the air so thick you could cut it with a knife, wary of what lay ahead.
