1.16 A Price for Entitlement

Dorian emerged from his suite when summoned for dinner, strolling to the dining room and taking the seat at the head of the table. He made it clear to be notified before the Zenos.

Within a few minutes, the Zenos entered the dining room. Micah's expression darkened upon seeing Dorian in his seat. Silently, he took a place to Dorian's right.

Rey settled next to Micah, and Aries strategically positioned himself on Dorian's left. Aries harbored hopes of convincing him to grant a more spacious bedroom, even if Dorian's time was limited.

The current room felt too cramped for comfort, and Aries desired a more suitable space for his belongings.

Clearing her throat, Rey gazed at Dorian, waiting for him to lift his eyes from his cell phone. When she finally realized he never would, she softly uttered, "Dorian."

Dorian looked up, prompting Rey to explain, "When we went shopping for you, our credit cards wouldn't work. I had to use Micah's company's card, and the total came to almost 300,000 credits."

Dorian simply responded, "Okay," before returning his attention to his cell phone.

Micah's eyes flashed, and he interjected, "I have an upcoming project, and that money was set aside for it."

Dorian looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Do you expect me to pay for it when you're the reason I had to buy all of this in the first place?"

Micah opened his mouth, but nothing came out.

Dorian chuckled and said, "The fact that you tried to pay for it with the credit cards I gave you in the first place shows how entitled you are."

Rey added, "You know that everything you lost wasn't valued at 300,000 credits."

Dorian, with cold eyes, retorted, "You're right, it was worth more. You dared to get rid of things left to me from my mother and father. You're lucky my shopping only cost 300,000 credits."

Sensing Dorian's escalating anger, Micah and Rey decided to let it go. They had never encountered someone as selfish as Dorian, despite his vast wealth.

Dorian finished his meal in silence and left. After a shower, he immersed himself in the cinema, watching movies until late.

The next day, he had breakfast and lunch delivered to his suite, not in the mood to deal with the others.

Getting ready for dinner, he packed a bag. After checking what they were wearing with CS, he put on a three-piece suit. Dorian settled on his bed, placing the bag at his feet.

He sent for Luna to be called and patiently waited. When she arrived, she greeted him with a smile. "Hey, you wanted to talk?"

If Dorian didn't know how much she hated him, he would believe she loved him.

Dorian said, "What happened at dinner yesterday made me think. The reason Aries behaves the way he does is because your parents taught him to behave that way since they are entitled too. I always thought that forcing you to share Damian with Aries just because he was their favorite child was wrong."

Luna's heartbeat quickened, and she said, "What?"

Dorian continued, "You know the fact that they wanted you, who had been with Damian for two years, to accept that Aries loves him too. I'm glad Damian was smart enough not to fall for it. But I think it's wrong that your parents were actively giving Aries the opportunity to get close to him and encourage him, even if you knew."

Luna looked down, her hands tightening into fists. She had always felt that maybe Aries liked Damian, but her parents kept telling her that he only saw him as a big brother.

Not only were they okay with Aries going after the man she loved, but they even helped him. Everything is finally crystal clear—they love him more. And the only reason she found out is that idiot Dorian thinks she knew.

Luna turned around furiously to go deal with them, but she froze when Dorian said, "That's why I changed my will and made you my sole inheritor."

She turned around, her heart beating out of her chest. "Y-you did?"

Dorian nodded. "You've always been overlooked despite being more successful than Aries. It's clear that your parents don't appreciate you as much. So I thought if anything were to happen to me, you would get my entire fortune."

Luna felt speechless for a second and asked, "Can I see the will?"

Dorian nodded and was about to show it to her before he received a text telling him his ride was there. Dorian stood up and took his bag. "I'll just send it to you; my ride is here."

Luna nodded and walked out with him. After locking his suite, Dorian entered the elevator. Luna smiled at him as the doors closed. When her cell phone vibrated, she immediately checked and saw that it was from Dorian.

Luna's hand trembled as she looked at the new will making her the sole inheritor of Dorian. She smiled.

Since her parents and hateful brother treated her that way, she'll teach them a lesson. They'll kneel to her.

Dorian entered the ship with a smile and took his seat. He should give Luna a chance to get revenge on Aries; after all, they're both cannon fodder. It should be fun to see how big of bitches they all become to her.

As Dorian stood in the spaceship approaching the castle, his gaze fixed on the panoramic window that revealed a breathtaking scene below.

The landing pad stretched before him, and beyond it lay an enchanting garden, the epitome of beauty and grandeur.

The spaceship descended gracefully, and as it touched down on the landing pad, Dorian's anticipation grew.

The window, which had been his portal to the cosmos just moments ago, now framed a picturesque landscape that captured the essence of an idyllic castle setting.

A sprawling garden unfolded beneath, adorned with a symphony of colors and textures. A meticulously landscaped masterpiece, the garden boasted vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and pathways that wound their way through the verdant expanse.

The air was filled with the sweet fragrance of blooming roses, each petal a testament to nature's artistry.

In the heart of this botanical wonderland stood a majestic castle, its architecture a harmonious blend of timeless elegance and futuristic design.

Towers reached toward the sky, and walls exuded an aura of strength and sophistication. The castle seemed like a haven nestled within the embrace of the lush garden, where past and future seamlessly converged.

At the center of the garden, a grand fountain stood as a mesmerizing centerpiece. Water cascaded in rhythmic patterns, catching the sunlight and creating a dazzling play of reflections.

The sound of the flowing water added a soothing melody to the visual symphony, enhancing the enchantment of the scene.

Dorian couldn't help but be captivated by the beauty unfolding before him. The landing pad provided a perfect vantage point, and he marveled at the meticulous design of the garden, the regal silhouette of the castle, and the serenity emanating from the fountain.

He descended the stairs, his eyes locked on Damian, who awaited him with a butler. Dressed in a finely tailored suit, Damian commanded attention with a powerful presence. His formidable frame, chiseled jaw, and regal demeanor exuded authority and nobility.

Damian's piercing grey eyes, reminiscent of storm clouds, held a captivating intensity. The gaze, penetrating to the core, silently assured of his capability and unyielding resolve.

Damian took Dorian's bag and handed it to the butler upon Dorian's arrival. Then, he pulled Dorian into a warm embrace, and they shared a heartfelt hug.

When Damian eventually pulled back, he laced their hands together and led Dorian toward the castle.

By tomorrow, Dorian would believe that he truly cared for him and might accept the prospect of being his mate forever. Damian's eyes flashed with determination.
