Chapter 119 Training New Methods

Erza Pov

"This is spectacular!!" Erza said as she gazed at the small crevice she had created on the ground.

As soon as master had given her the breathing technique created by Karna, she had been practicing it for the last three days.

Erza's magic had revolved around minor telekinesis. Her main power comes from her sword skills and armour along with the body strengthening she does with her magic. But recently, she felt like she was not growing by that much. Her opponents had grown stronger and the recent problems they faced gave her a feeling that Karna had hidden a lot of things and those things he had hidden has a chance of harming her family.

Her armours consist of many sets that can help her in these situations, but she was not strong enough to wield them while the ones she can use were not strong enough to beat her opponents.

But now she sees a way to get strong enough to protect her comrades from the dangers they will face in the future.

She had been constantly using Breathing techniques, and she can see the increase in her strength within this small amount of time.

"These techniques seem tailor made for sword fighters, if I use it at the moment of striking, my power can increase by a minimum of two to a maximum of five times the amount force I use" she said while panting.

"It takes a lot out of me for now to use it like this, but I must persevere. The next step of constant breathing, if I manage it, it will take away the limitation of the small bursts of energy at times to constant state of strengthening". She muttered as she raised her sword to practice again.

Natsu POV.

"Alright Happy, you know what to do"

"Are you sure about this Natsu" Happy asked sceptically while holding a large metal hammer.

"Yeah, I'm sure. Karna's breathing technique is making me stronger and I'm sure the others are using it as well. But I'm gonna master it before they master it completely" Natsu said while taking some kind of medicine he took from Porlyosika's stuff in the guild.

"All right Natsu, but the book said that it will be better to do constant breathing while sleeping after mastering to keep it up all day while awake" Happy tried to warn him one more time.

"That's exactly the reason Happy, while others are practicing slowly, I will skip the steps and master it before them, then I will beat the crap out of Gray, Erza and Master" Natsu declared with fire coming out of his mouth.

"What about Karna?" Happy asked as Natsu did not mention him.

"Um…well" Natsu gulped remembering the way Jellal was beaten to a pulp. Something deep within his instincts told him that day that its better not to fight Karna until he is completely sure.

"Lets.. beat Erza first and then think about that later" Natsu said out loud and swallowed the sleeping medicine.

"Alright here goes nothing" Happy said as he raised the hammer to beat up Natsu for losing his rhythm in breathing while sleeping.

Let's just say there were screams in the valley where Natsu lives for a few days until Natsu decided to learn it by the book.

Elfman POV

"Manly breath, Manly breath, Manly breath" Elfman kept on saying it again and again.

Lisanna who was about to call him for dinner silently took a step back and went back inside.

Lucy POV

"I don't know how the hell did Karna make a technique like this, but I have to say its effects on Celestial magic is extra ordinary" Loki said as he watched Lucy meditate while using the breathing technique.

At the same time, she was doing it, he was also able to feel the increase in celestial magic as well as the fluctuation of the same said magic around Lucy's body.

'If it goes on this way, you might be the celestial wizard in a long time to unlock the Zodiac armaments' Loki thought with a smile as he saw his current master in complete focus of the technique.

At the time in the snowy mountains.

"This…technique… is extremely…PAINFUL!!!" Gray wheezed out in frustration.

"Be a bit glad idiot, you're lucky you got something like this while you are still young, you might be able to be one with the cold if you master it completely and combine it with your Ice Make magic." Ur said from the side.

"One With the cold?" Gray asked confused as he had never heard Ur saying something like that.

"Listen closely Gray, Ice moulding magic and Ice Magic may sound similar, but it is in fact completely different form each other.

We Maker Magic wizards are essentially craft workers who are able to manipulate ice whereas a true Ice wizard is able to command the Ice itself like it is its servant.

Those wizards are able to handle the maximum amount of cold possible, Absolute zero"

Gray's eyes widened as he was shocked. As an ice mage, he knew about the existence of Absolute zero and knew that even he will be rendered powerless before a temperature of that level. He knew that the resistance he gained by undergoing the training given by Ur in the mountains will not be enough to even be in the presence of a cold like that.

"Are you saying that all those Ice wizards are able to beat us?"

"Hehahaha, kid you joke about a lot of things" Ur said laughing while giving a look to Gray as if he was stupid. "All ice wizards have different levels depending upon their power and trust me, most of them won't be able to get to that temperature"

Gray sighed in relief knowing that such a danger was extremely low.

"Although if it is that bastard in Alvarez, it might create problems for you kid, so you need to master being one with cold so as to even stand at the battlefield if you ever come across that unfeeling monster." Ur muttered under her breath which Gray was not able to hear.
