chapter 13 : new dungeon

Long Su cluched the thousand gleaming gold coins in his hand, relishing their weight and potential. With a firm grip, he began to summon an army of skeletal units, determined to face whatever dangers lurked within the depths of the dungeon.

First came the 400 Skeleton Slaves, conjured with a single coin for each unit.

These emaciated foot soldiers stood ready as a shield against any threats that may come.

Their bony frames rattled with a cold, eerie sound as they materialized, their hollow eyes fixed upon Long Su with unwavering loyalty.

Though they appeared frail and intimidating, they possessed surprising strength and resilience and were prepared to defend their master at all costs.

But Long Su's army was not yet complete. He raised his hand once more, using the remaining gold coins to summon a powerful force of Skeleton Militia.

Each advanced warrior cost five gold coins to summon, but their skill and prowess made them invaluable allies.

As he recited the incantation, 120 Skeleton Militia emerged from the shadows, their bone weapons glinting ominously in the dim light of the dungeon.

Unlike the skeleton slaves, these expert fighters moved with graceful precision and unwavering coordination.

Their bony bodies radiated with fierce determination and unbreakable loyalty to their master.

With his formidable army of total of 760 Skeleton Slaves and 170 Skeleton Militia at his command, Long Su could feel a surge of confidence coursing through his veins.

As the new sun rose, signaling the start of a new day, the three-day holiday had come to an end.

Excitement buzzed through the air as the students gathered in their classrooms, eagerly awaiting the upcoming school training trip.

They huddled together, chatting animatedly about their holiday adventures and speculating about what the trip would entail. The room was filled with a cacophony of voices, each one vying to be heard over the others.

Suddenly, the door swung open, and Teacher Li strode into the room, his presence immediately commanding attention. The chatter died down instantly as all eyes turned towards him.

"Good morning, everyone," he announced, his voice brimming with enthusiasm. "I hope you've all prepared yourselves for today's trip. We'll be leaving shortly, so please make sure you have your record watches with you. The school will need to keep track of your points."

The students nodded eagerly, their excitement rising at the thought of embarking on this new adventure. The anticipation was palpable as they gathered their things and followed Teacher Li out of the classroom and towards the unknown journey that awaited them.

a sense of anticipation hanging in the air.

They made their way through the school grounds and towards the city gates, where a convoy of transport vehicles was waiting to take them to their destination.

As they boarded the vehicles, the students couldn't help but exchange glances, their excitement growing at the prospect of what lay ahead.

The engines roared, and with a lurch, the convoy set off, carrying the students away from the city and towards the dungeon that awaited them.

It didn't take long. The school convoy arrived at the military station, and what was awaited them were fully armed soldiers ready to check on everyone.

Class after class entered the search room, and after a strong light covered everyone for several seconds, the officer allowed them to enter.

Students who had just finished checking in with the military officials had their hearts pumping with a combination of anxiety and excitement.

They halted at the dungeon's entrance, a towering gateway covered in dense greenery and illuminated by a peculiar, greenish light.

Teacher Li described the dungeon as the Forest of the Green Man, a labyrinthine wood teeming with terrible monsters like goblins, ogres, and wolves. The students exchanged apprehensive glances, their anxieties rising at the prospect of dealing with such strong competitors.

But among them, Long Su stood tall and confident, his gaze fixed on the imposing gate before them.

He had been through countless trials and battles, and he was ready to fight his way through the dungeon.

Despite their fears, the students were also filled with a sense of anticipation. They had trained long and hard for this moment, and they were eager to put their skills to the test. As they took up their positions before the gate,

As the students began to teleport one by one, a sense of tension filled the air. Each student disappeared in a flash of light.

After a few minutes, it was Long Su's turn. He stepped forward confidently. As he passed through the gate, everything around him changed in an instant, and he found himself alone in a lush, green forest.

The forest was deep and colorful, with the sounds of birds and insects filling the air.

The lush vegetation was thick, and the sunlight hardly made it through the canopy above.

Long Su took a minute to adjust to his surroundings, keeping his senses on guard for any signs of danger.

With a determined look in his eye, he summoned 50 skeleton slaves and 10 military militia as his team of bodyguards.

He set off into the depths of the dungeon, into the Forest of the Green Man.

Very soon, he encountered a group of 12 goblins holding wooden spears patrolling the forest path.

Without hesitation, Long Su commanded the skeletal units to attack.

It was the first time he had ordered his army to fight against an enemy, and he felt a rush of excitement as the battle commenced.

The front line of the attack was made up of 50 Skeleton Slaves, and as expected, the first ones of them were quickly destroyed as they clashed with the goblins.

The goblins, revelling in the chaos of battle, attacked in all directions with wild abandon.

But as the Skeleton Slaves fell, the Skeleton Militia took their place on the battlefield.

These 10 units moved with the discipline and coordination of almost a well-trained army, their swords and shields flashing in the dappled sunlight.

Long Su directed their movements; his mind quickly tried strategic thinking to assess the battlefield and identify weaknesses in the goblins' defenses.

The goblins continued their onslaught, but as they approached the Skeleton Militia, they were met with fierce resistance.

The Skeleton Militia's coordinated attacks proved too much for the disorganized goblins.

One by one, the goblins fell, their bodies crumpling to the ground or their heads separated from their shoulders.

Just a few moments later, the body disappeared and a white light of faith started gathering around him

It was a brutal and decisive victory for Long Su and his skeletal army.
