Chapter 375

[Event For: Warhammer: Starting as a Planetary Governor!!] [200 PS = +1 Extra Chapter!!]

"Ding-dong!"

"Coming, coming!"

Boruto rushed to the door and opened it, finding two unfamiliar men standing there, one holding a box. He asked, "Who are you looking for?"

The man introduced himself, "Is this Hinata Uzumaki's home? We're from the Isolated Love production team, here to deliver fan letters and settle the remaining payment for Hinata-san."

"Oh, sure! Come in; my mom's home," Boruto said, stepping aside to let them in.

Once inside, Hinata appeared from another room, greeting them politely. "Hinata-san, hello. I'm Miura Morishita, here to deliver some fan letters and finalize your payment," the man explained.

"Please, have a seat, Morishita-san. I'll get you some tea," Hinata said as she headed toward the kitchen.

"No need to trouble yourself, Hinata-san. We won't stay long," Morishita replied, but Hinata insisted, bringing out two cups of tea.

Boruto and Himawari, curious about the visitors, joined them in the living room.

After setting down the tea, Morishita got straight to business. "Hinata-san, as the second lead, your total payment is six million ryō. You've already received 1.2 million upfront, so there's still 4.8 million remaining. Additionally, due to the show's great reception, you've earned a one-million-ryō bonus, bringing the total to 5.8 million."

He handed over a check for 5.8 million ryō along with a document. "Please sign here if everything looks good."

Hinata reviewed the document, still surprised at the amount, and signed her name.

"Thank you, Hinata-san. That concludes our business. If there's nothing else, we'll take our leave," Morishita said as he stood to leave.

"Won't you stay a bit longer, Morishita-san?" Hinata offered politely.

"Thank you, but I have other deliveries to make. By the way, here's the first batch of fan letters. Some might contain unkind words—just ignore those."

With that, Morishita and his colleague left.

After they were gone, Boruto excitedly exclaimed, "Mom, you earned so much from one drama—seven million ryō! That's way more than Dad makes as Hokage!"

"Hokage salaries are fixed at 30,000–40,000 ryō a month, which is decent, but compared to high-earning jonin or actors, it's not much. Hokage work isn't about money, though—it's about protecting the village," Hinata gently explained, only for Boruto to interrupt.

He had opened the fan letter box, marveling at the sheer number of letters. "Mom, can I help you open these?"

Hinata hesitated before giving in. "Alright, you can open them."

Boruto and Himawari eagerly started tearing into the letters, reading the contents aloud.

"'Hinata-san, your portrayal of the wife was so authentic and heartfelt. I hope to see more of your performances.' Look, Mom, this one's praising you!" Boruto said excitedly, passing the letter to Hinata, who smiled as she read it.

Himawari chimed in, "Mom, this one's full of compliments too!"

"Another one here, Mom!" Boruto added, beaming.

Later that evening, when Naruto returned home, he was greeted by a lavish spread of dishes on the dinner table. "Wow, Hinata, what's the occasion?"

Boruto jumped in to answer. "We're celebrating Mom becoming a superstar! She got a box of fan letters today and earned seven million ryō!"

"Seven million? That's incredible, Hinata," Naruto said, astonished.

"The drama's already airing, huh? Boruto, turn on the TV; let's watch it."

Boruto waved him off. "It already aired, Dad. You'll have to catch the rerun or the 3 PM slot."

Naruto sighed. "3 PM? I can't watch it during work. I'll have to wait for my day off. I really want to see it, though. Hinata, I hope you continue to shine!"

The Uzumaki family enjoyed a lively dinner that night, filled with laughter. Boruto and Himawari, well-cared for by their grandfather Hiashi during the filming, didn't feel neglected and were eager for Hinata to continue acting.

Over a Month Later

Time passed peacefully in the ninja world, aside from ongoing efforts to track Kara and a few missing creatures. The five great ninja villages had stationed patrol teams along their borders to ensure quick responses to any threats.

Meanwhile, the introduction of smartphones—compact devices with computer-like functionality, capable of making calls and running various apps—took the ninja world by storm.

The first batch of 300,000 units sold out in five days, and subsequent batches sold even faster. The Tangerine Phone had firmly established its presence. Yoichi took advantage of this to plant surveillance tools across the ninja world, relying on his assistant for data analysis.

Yoichi's mornings now began with leisurely scrolling through his phone, catching up on the latest news in the ninja world.

One such morning, around 5 AM, the sound of running water woke him. Reaching for the other side of the bed, he found it empty—Ino had already left for the bathroom.

With her husband Sai often away, Ino had begun visiting Yoichi late at night, unable to resist the comfort he provided. However, she always returned home before dawn to be there for Inojin.

When Ino emerged from the bathroom, draped in a white towel that blended with her fair skin, Yoichi smirked. "Leaving already, Ino-san? Let me give you a proper goodbye."

"Next time, Yoichi-kun. Inojin will wake soon," Ino replied, her cheeks flushing as she felt his gaze.

Yoichi leaned in, planting a kiss on her cheek. "Ino-san, you're amazing."

Blushing, Ino hurriedly dressed and left, though not without a small smile lingering on her face.
