I nearly melted into the plush lounge chair the moment we stepped into Serenity Spa. The subtle scent of lavender and eucalyptus filled the air, and for the first time in what felt like forever, I could feel the tension in my body begin to loosen. Chris had rented out the entire spa for Bella and me—no reporters, no curious onlookers, no buzzing phones. Just pure relaxation. It felt almost surreal after the chaos I'd been swimming in these past weeks.

I glanced over at Bella. She was already unwrapping a fluffy white robe from the neat stack the spa attendant had provided, her eyes bright with excitement. "Okay," she said, letting out a contented sigh, "I've been looking forward to this since yesterday. You needed to fall in love with a rich man sooner." we both laughed.
