Overview

Once upon a time, the world that humans lived in was invaded by evil demons, but they were chased away by the mighty warriors [DRAGONS]. Before that, they spread their followers and worshipers throughout the world, With the intention of ruling. For that reason, demons opened otherworldly dungeons leading to humanity facing destruction.

Mighty warriors made a plan for humanity to survive these destructions. They blessed humans with a system that would make them strong enough to defend themselves from evil. However, demons want to corrupt the magic energy to use it for their interest.

But humans weren't aware of any of these. They only discovered sky-breaking and monsters coming out of them. It was a disastrous situation; everyone was trying to save themselves. In this dire situation, humans started to gain different powers based on their desires and abilities. Even then, it couldn't save humanity from extinction. Only a portion of humans were able to save themselves. Most of the lands got corrupted and became strong magic regions. Therefore, different species of monsters started to reside there. It became an uninhabited place for humans to reside. So, most of the areas became mysterious and must be explored again.

The world government established an association that manages hunters. However, most of the high-ranking hunters formed their guilds which run independently. There are 12 main guilds but there are many sub-guilds under them. These guilds have great authority over the government. Most of the dungeons are under guild protection. So, people not registered to any guild don't benefit from getting stronger.
