A few weeks ago
Panila was sat idly in her office like usual, drinking her coffee with a small smile... Until she heard the deafening music of Eido. Panila knew the Idol loved to make an entrance, even when it was just for a quick visit.
A group of Decaynines burst through the main office doors, each holding a speaker as Eido walked between them, doing a full dance routine as she sung to the beat: "Panila, O Panila. The damned Warden, won't you come and make some plans? I wanna get lunch, and Tophi blew me off, so please O please will you get a drink with me?"
Panila looked unamused by her subordinate, instead putting her head back down to her work as the Decaynines awkwardly left the room, leaving the two alone. "So... What you working on now?" Eido asked with a small smile as she crawled up onto the desk, burning her hand slightly as she tried to lean against Panila's coffee mug.
"Deciding what to get Wendy for her birthday." She said flatly. To Eido, that was either sarcasm or the truth, no one really knew. The spider sighed and clapped her back hands together. "Well, why don't you ignore that for a snack?" She grinned, dangling a tiny, spider sized gift card in her hands.
"Why? What is so important that you need to take me away from my work?" Panila said as she leant in close, her bangs not even moving despite how quick she moved. "Uhm.... W-We're friends?" She replied, now feeling as awkward as the Decaynines.
"If I get you a new speaker, will you leave me be?" Panila groaned, leaning back in her chair with her arms crossed, trying not to let her frustration show, despite the chains on the walls clanking loudly. Eido nodded furiously, excited over the prospect. "Deal. Well... I guess I'll just leave you your present, since we're doing gifts."
Eido summoned some silk and dragged in a record disk of her first album. "It's a limited edition copy. Only 4 were ever made! Aaaaand, since you love my music so much, I figured you'd want it. Consider it thanks for having me around." She smiled, causing Panila to feel almost proud.
"Thank you, Eido."
