But Try Not To Choke

Panila calmly readjusted her suit, giving it a quick dust off as Wendy/Tophi approached. They seemed to recognise Their warden, bowing to her with a grin. "Have you come for dinner/Oh Panila, you shouldn't have." They said at the same time. Despite being in the same body, they had two minds.

Panila looked repulsed, but calmed herself quickly. "What should I call you, my dears? Since I have no actual idea what to refer to you as now." She sighed, putting her hands behind her back as she patiently waited.

"Tophina Lolligore, ma'am." They bowed again, tipping their hat playfully. "So... Tophina. Will you surrender peacefully and relinquish your heart?" She asked calmly, approaching them with a stern stance. "What do you think... Boss?" They laughed wildly before getting their hand sliced off with a quick whip of Panila's chain. They stared at their hand before putting it back on like nothing happened, it was like fusing two pieces of chewing gum together.

"Disgusting." She muttered before multiple chains began appearing behind her, firing off like bullets. Tophina laughed, doing a cartwheel to dodge each of the fired chains. "Aww. Has Panila gotten slower/dumber?"

She gritted her teeth, summoning more bulky and heavy chains while whipping at them with her regular ones. "Be quite, deer!"

Tophina continued laughing, even the slightest bit of damage was quickly healed back up at a moments notice, much to Panila's frustration. Ven watched from the roof, wondering if he should help out now or not. Rat rolled her eyes and shoved him off, dropping him between Panila and Tophina. "Stupid Ra-yikes!" He yelped as Panila continued using her chains, Ven barely dodging out of the way as Tophina began scratching the ground, uplifting it into a crumbling cookied mess.

"Get out of my way, Rabbit!" She yelled, beginning to get more frustrated with this fight. As soon as Panila was distracted, Tophina went in for a strike, laughing slightly as they took off their hand behind their back, letting it jump towards Panila. "Oh Fu-" Ven yelled, using a portal to redirect the hand back at Tophina.

They laughed as they put their hand back on. "Seems now the fight is fair/even." Panila gave a small nod to Ven, seeming to be her very withdrawn thanks. He quickly rushed over to her side. "Mind if I help?"

"Just know... You're still dead after this, Rabbit." She smirked, firing a volley of chains again, though with Ven's help, redirecting them behind Tophina. They let out a laugh as the sub-mind heart was shoved out of their gum like chest, the tendrils still connected. "This hurts so much." They said with a big grin, freaking even Panila out slightly.

She sighed and used her chains to yank the tendrils out, causing Tophina's body to melt into a small, gummy version of themselves. "You were... surprisingly helpful." Panila sighed, turning to face Ven, only to see he was gone. She turned around and saw him running off with the sub-mind in his coat pocket. "Sorry, Warden. But I got a death to claim!" He laughed.

Panila looked stunned, calmly walking over to the gummy Tophina and placing them in her pocket before beginning to laugh slightly. It quickly turned into a full demonic laugh as she moved so fast it was like she teleported. In an instant, she was in front of Ven. "I was going to let you go... But now? You're coming with me." She said, moving her bangs slightly to reveal one eye. Tid-Bit quickly yelled: "Dodge!"

He quickly jumped to the side, barely avoiding an eye blast that levelled the building behind him. "Relax, Rabbit. This won't hurt... Well, it will. A lot." She cackled, launching her chains to pursue him as he weaved through portals, quickly beginning to climb up a building. Panila sighed, pulling out what looked like a chain with an engraving on it. She calmly threw it at the building, beginning to drag the entire structure inside the chain. Ven quickly noticed, weaving through portals to make it to the top before flipping off and landing down onto the emporium.

He almost seemed tired, but gave Panila two fingered salute as he began walking away. He glanced around, noticing Rat wasn't there anymore. Confused, he quickly checked his pocket, finding that the sub-mind wasn't there.

Something was wrong.

He looked to the sky, noticing that the simulated sky was replaced with a gigantic hole in the cavern's roof. Then he heard an electronic laugh as a thin robotic cat tail, rubbed against his leg.

"DOZ THE ROBITZ DREAM LIKE MEZ?" The laughter sound sounded like a crowd as Ven went for heartbreaker, only to find a beating heart in his hand instead.

"Did you really think it would be that simple?" Ven turned around, now back in the ruined facility he woke up in, seeing an old and dilapidated Eden with Tid-Bit's voice.

"Did you see a radiant light?"

"Did you hear a beautiful chant?"

"Did you feel a tender warmth?"

Ven froze up, not knowing what was happening, thinking this was a nightmare. But he hadn't slept since his undeath. He turned around again, seeing a robotic cat boy sitting at the Judgement room he met the domain leaders. Seeing each of them replaced by a doll, except for Eido and Wendy's position, instead there was only a heart in their place.

"YOUZ DOOMED THEMZ... MOTHER WAS RIGHT, A HOST IZ JUST A PROBLEM." He said before Ven was pulled down by a tail, now standing in front of doll versions of his friends, each of them limp.

Suddenly the cat boy appeared in front of him upside down. "I am Cheshire... Your new tormentor." He laughed, before disappearing. The stuffed version of Rat stood up and began pointing to the plush of Avis and Vinea.

"What? What about them." He asked, poking the rat plush in the stomach, though it just face palmed and began drawing something in light, with Ven reading aloud.

"It's me, Rat. I have Tophina's sub-mind. You'll have to survive on your own for a bit, as Panila caught you. Have fun with Cheshire. And don't question his games."

Before Ven could respond, he was dragged away again, forced into another surreal experience. "She better know what she's doing..." He thought to himself as he was forced to fight off hundreds of Decaynines with a pool noodle.
