Fantastic start! As of this review, chapter 5 is the latest and so far this story has really got me interested! When I finished the last chapter I only wanted to read more! The characters are fun and fresh and the story is really compelling. I also like the world-building with the Perpetuals and the naming choice is great! Can't wait for more chapters!

A pleasant read, I like characters with a dark past, they are always interesting, perhaps I miss elements a little more that make me build a little more of Vince's personality or his past in my head, but since we are only in the first chapters I will be attentive to how it evolves

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a captivating and well-crafted read. From the very first page, the author's storytelling skills shine through as they expertly set the stage for an enthralling narrative. The character development is exceptional, with the protagonist being especially relatable and their motives deeply explored. The seamless integration of gods adds another layer of intrigue to the plot, promising to explore themes of divinity and human interaction in unique ways. While the presence of magic is teased, it only adds to the anticipation of what's to come. The tension maintained throughout the book, coupled with the deliberate pacing, keeps the reader fully engaged. Overall, this book is a testament to the author's prowess in storytelling, character development, and thematic exploration. Excellent read!

From the moment I turned the first page, I was captivated by what promises to be an enthralling narrative. The author masterfully sets the stage in the opening chapter, laying down the stakes with precision and clarity. It's not just the plot that's compelling; the characters, especially the protagonist, are introduced with depth and relatability that resonate from the very beginning. Their motives are not only clearly defined but are presented in a way that immediately forges a connection with the reader, ensuring a vested interest in their journey. One of the standout features of this book is the seamless integration of a complex and intriguing concept of gods that intertwines with the narrative. The author has laid a solid groundwork for an expansive story that promises to explore themes of divinity and human interaction in novel ways. The anticipation of how these elements will unfold adds an extra layer of engagement to the reading experience. While the book teases the presence of magic, it's clear that this element is yet to be fully explored. However, given the author's skillful storytelling thus far, I am confident that the magic system will be both unique and integral to the plot's progression. The foundation laid in the initial chapters suggests that the exploration of magic will not only enrich the world-building but will also deepen the character dynamics and the narrative's thematic undertones. The author maintains a palpable sense of tension throughout, a testament to their narrative craftsmanship. This tension, coupled with the stakes introduced early on, propels the story forward, keeping the reader engrossed and eager for what's to come. The pacing is deliberate, ensuring that each chapter builds upon the last, further immersing the reader in the book's world. In conclusion, the book is off to a stellar start, showcasing the author's prowess in storytelling, character development, and thematic exploration.
