The First Enemy
In an eerie silence stood the figure. With an axe in hand, he revealed himself. He told Tian Yi, "i'm here to take back something you have taken from us. Return the girl and we'll spare the rest of your village." Tian Yi stood there motionless and said "And leave her to suffer again your hands?". "It's wasn't a request. You see, right now we have several hostages. Either you hand her back to us or we start killing them one by one."
The enemy motions his hand to bring something out. A person walks forward with the village chief. "Like i said, this isn't a negotiation." Says the figure. With a muffled voice the village chief speaks, "mhm Save the girl.". "ONE" man with the axe cuts him down without even the slightest hint of hesitation. Tian Yi sees this, infuriated he shouts, "WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?". "Not someone a lone warrior like you can afford to mess with" says the man with the axe. "Blaze" Tian Yi says as he pulls out his flaming blade.
"Uh uh uh, don't even try that." The man with the axe pulls out another hostage. Tian Yi blinks behind the hostage and snatches him out of the his grasp. He takes the hostage and throws him into the barrier he set up earlier. The man with the axe smirks as he cuts down yet another hostage. "Tsk tsk tsk you can't save everyone but you can minimize the damage. So stop with your pointless resistance and hand over the girl."
Tian Yi looks around at the standoff, a black blue light flashes. As far as Tian Yi could see. he beheaded the captors and threw the villagers into his barrier. "Thats a nice trick you got there but- *shilk* it's meaningless.", as another one of the villagers fall. "FUUUCK STOPPPP" Tian Yi screams blinking to slice the man with the axe. *CLANG* His blade gets blocked by the mans axe covered in a dark red aura, Tian Yi sends out his other blade enveloping it with a blue aura he blinks to the his other blade and slashes the man with the axe. Now looking distraught the man with the axe jumps away throwing down a poison smoke grenade. "You could endure this, but can the other villagers endure it?" The villagers start to cough inhaling the poison smoke. Tian Yi agitated he summons the wind to channel the poison smoke into him. He inhales the smoke and starts to feel himself getting very poisoned, he falls to the ground.
"STOP!" Yue Hua yells out. Seeing this the man with the axe walk to Tian Yi "How could you do something so smart yet so dumb at the same time? *Smirk* lets end this" Holding his axe to Tian Yi's neck, he takes the swing. Yue Hua seeing this tries to rush in. Seeing her rushing in, in that split second Tian Yi casts a dirt wall stopping Yue Hua and directs both his blades stabbing the man with the axe and burning him. Tian Yi rushes to behead the rest of the captors. Yue Hua breaks through the dirt wall sees Tian Yi heavily poisoned and *gasps* as she freezes is place.
The man with the axe almost dead evokes the last of his murderous qi, he rushes at Yue Hua who is standing still. Tian Yi has no time to think as he blinks sending himself in front of Yue Hua taking the full force of the aura covered axe. *splurt* A good chunk of TianYi's back gets hit. *pugh* Tian Yi spits out a good mouthful of blood and falls to his knees. Yue Hua seeing the carnage left by the battle her eyes and hands shake "This is because of me. This is because of me. This is because of me. This is because of me." Hearing Yue Hua, Tian Yi collects his remaining strength *flicks* her forehead, "my brush" he tells Yue Hua. Gathering herself, Yue Hua rushes back to the house and grabs TianYi's brush and runs back to him.
Tian Yi tries to grab his brush but it slips out of his hand. His breathing, getting harder and harder. Yue Hua tries to help Tian Yi direct his brush to his wounds. Just in the nick of time TianYi mutters *heal*. A green light washes over Tian Yi and Tian Yi falls unconscious. Falling into his dream world, "Tsk tsk tsk tsk, you have amazing tenacity but you have no idea how to use your blades" Moon reveals himself to TianYi laying on the ground. Disoriented Tian Yi says "Huh?" Moon laughs hysterically, "Did you already forget us? But we just met! So, how does flailing your blades around feel?" Tian Yi "I have no idea sir" Moon "here i'll teach you some stuff so you wont look like an idiot using your blades and just in case, some other weapons too. Go clean up your mess." Moon injects his teachings into Tian Yi and he wakes up.
Seeing Yue Hua and the rest of the girls anxious he pats Yue Hua. "Aghh..i'm good i'm good. Thanks for worrying guys." he tries to sit up but gets shoved back down by Zhen Ai. "You need to stay STILL.". "Aghhh i'm hurt y'know…" Hearing people sobbing he asks, "Whats going on outside?", "The rest of the villagers are cleaning up." Zhen Ai says. "Ah i see." Tian Yi replies. "It's alright, it's not your fault brave warrior." Mr. Xue Qin interrupts. "This is how most of the people in this region get treated as wars continue to ravage different parts of the land. You've helped the best you can."
Still looking dispirited "I'm sorry i couldn't do more.", Mr. Xue Qin "Don't worry about it. Everyone here died without regrets. At the very least, they died to protect another life". "Alright i heard from Mei Lan you wanted to come see me for painting supplies?". "Yeah i was going to, i wanted to try something.". "By painting? You sure are peculiar one, here.". Mr. Xue Qin hands Tian Yi a canvas and Tian Yi brings out his brush. Tian Yi starts paining onto the canvas a beautiful artwork of a mountain with a village in the middle of a deep valley brimming with wildlife and warm sunlight. As if the painting was alive it started to give off a soft glow signaling its completion.
"Alright. I think we should get moving away from this place.". Dumbfounded at what they just witnessed, everyone present looked at Tian Yi "To where exactly sir warrior? Where would we go? Who would accept lowly villagers like us?". "I'll show you after we send off the deceased.". Tian Yi gets up and walks out to the villagers and the pile of dead bodies. He lights the fire and as like the last time, their spirits flow up into the heavens.
"It amazes me no matter how many times i may see it. To think that we would get a blessed burial like this." A villager speaks. "Lets get moving, we're leaving this forsaken land." Says Tian Yi. "To where?" Mr. Xue Qin asks. Tian Yi tells the villagers to pack up their belongings and gather as much food as they can. After a while the villagers come back to TianYi looking confused. Tian Yi casts his painting onto a wall of Mei Lan's house. Bewildered the girls look at Tian Yi "Are we going into a painting?" Zhen Ai asks, "Yeah" Tian Yi replies. "Alright follow me."
TianYi walks into the painting with Zhen Ai. Then Yue Hua, Xiao Hua and Mei Lan soon follow and so do the rest of the villagers. As soon as they walk into the painting everyone is stuck in awe by the warmth and scenery. "This place here is going to be the safest place for us until we find a more suitable location." TianYi speaks, Mr .Xueqin "Sir warrior are you perhaps a sage?", "What do you mean by that?", "Sir i don't think you understand. To my knowledge a sage is the most powerful level of being a cultivator can achieve and only about 3 people have. Yet there hasn't been anyone able to do what you just did in the history of this continent ma-". "Alright thats enough. This is only a temporary thing. We're still in the frigid winter outside. This is just a way to keep people out of harms way until i find a more suitable location to settle in.", "But i don't wanna leave!" Xiao Hua screams.
Mei Lan picks Xiao Hua up and tells Tian Yi "I'm sorry Xiao Hua has never been anywhere this warm and serene. Or even outside the village in fact.". TianYi bends down and tells Xiao Hua, "I'll find a better place than this for all of us to settle okay?", "Do you promise? I want a place like this where no one needs to get hurt." Says Xiao Hua with tears welling up in her eyes. "I promise." Tian Yi replies. Yue Hua tugs on Tian Yi's robe and asks "Can you teach me how to fight?", TianYi asks, "why would you wan't to-", "I feel so useless every time i see you having to fight for us." *haaaa* "I'm always ready to defend anyone close to me so you don't feel so bad about it alright?" Tian Yi reaffirms Yue Hua but Yue Hua isn't letting go, "Hmmm…fine alright. I'll teach you after i find out what would suit you best alright?" Softly smiling Yue Hua looks up at Tian Yi. "Teach me too!" Zhen Ai cuts in, "Sigh…alright alright, i'll also have to figure out what would be the best for you too right?", "Hehe yep!" Replies Zhen Ai smiling brightly.
"Okay you guys are free to go choose a place for yourselves to stay in for now." Tian Yi says to the villagers. The villagers start walking to the cottages. Mr. Xue Qin steps up leading them. "Oh right, can you give me your necklaces?" TianYi asks the girls. "You want them back?" Zhen Ai asks. "Yea-", "No i want to keep it!" Xiao Hua cuts in. "Don't worry i'm only going to add some extra precautions to protect you guys. I'm not taking them away..". "Oh okay then" The girls hand their necklaces to Tian Yi and he casts a protective spell onto it as well as an alert spell in case if anything bad happens. "Alright i'm going to go back out to look for a city.", "Sir Warrior! I think i can help you with that!" Mr. Xue Qin says as he walks back to tell Tian Yi that everyone has found a place for themselves.
"So, you're planning to go to a city?", "The closest city to us right now is Harbin city. It's quite a ways south from here. We could leave in the morning. It would be best to leave when it's light out." , "Hmmm alright i can start moving in the morning then." TianYi replied.
The next day, "Alright everyone, I'll be leaving.". *huff huff huff* "here have this while you travel" Zhen Ai says, smiling. Tian Yi replies "I'll make sure to, I'll come back and see how things are periodically okay?" Smiling as he leaves the painting, Tian Yi walks out into the open fields and heads over. Continuing to walk TianYi stumbles upon a horse. He goes to it, the closer he got to it he realizes that it was a horse from the night before when they were attacked. Instantly putting on guard he quickly scans the area surrounding him. He doesn't notice anything so he gets on to it. He starts riding south. He soon comes across another small village. He wanders into the village and is greeted by it's grim reality. Corpses strewn everywhere and a lingering stench of blood.
He gets off his horse and slowly walks through the town seeing a few more glowing stones. The same ones that had Snowfall jade hiding inside. he picks them up and puts it onto his horse. He continues on coming across what looks to be a fresh corpse. He hides his presence and continues to walk.
He stumbles upon another group of bandits. He sees people getting executed one after another. He continues to look and sees a familiar uniform. The same uniform worn by the people that attacked him before. The man in the uniform senses a presence and alerts the bandits. The bandits speed up the executions and start looking for the intruder. They comb the village but finds no one, one of them finds the horse. The man in the uniform searches it and sees that it's carrying some rocks. The uniformed man just shrugs it off thinking it was probably just one of the many runaways.
He looks back at the bandits and sees one of them are missing. He didn't notice that one had gone missing because, he felt the same amount of presences but is then greeted by TianYi wearing his tattered robe. He shouts "IDENTIFY YOURSELF!". TianYi standing over the corpses looks to the uniformed man and mutters "Blaze" his sword ignites and he says "Dace of the weeping moon". One by one Tian Yi cuts down each bandit and come face to face with the uniformed man.
Tian Yi starts to fight with him. The uniformed man seeing that he isn't a match tries to run away. He gets slashed by Tian Yi's flying blade and falls to the ground. After he finished he notices another presence staring at him. He blinks behind it and goes "Boo.". "hieekk! Demon!" the lone bandit screams. "please, please spare me sir warrior.". "did your group spare these villagers?" with that Tian Yi plunges his flaming blade into the bandits chest. TianYi starts walking back to his horse and finds a child hiding underneath.
A small boy, Tian Yi asks why he's there "I'm the only one left here sir warrior.". Tian Yi shrugs and picks up the boy. Tian Yi notices the boy carrying some rocks, a piece of bread and some coins, as he picks him up putting him on his horse. "What are these?" he asks the boy "you had rocks like this on your horse so I wanted to give you some to pay you.". Tian Yi stunned, he looks at the rocks seeing that they all had small pieces of Snowfall jade. Tian Yi looks at them and pulls out his blade. The kid starts shaking in fear, "I'm not going to hurt you kid, are you hungry?" Tian Yi asks as he puts away the rocks and pulling out some frozen soup. The kid still shaking, nods his head. Tian Yi takes the bread and cuts it into slices. He uses his Qi levitates the soup and casts "fire". Heating up the soup and toasting the bread. The child is amazed and wide eyed, "here have something to eat." Tian Yi says.
The horse starts moving and on the way he passes a house. The child looking sadly at the house and the corpses in front. Tian Yi asks "What's wrong?", "That used to be my house" *tearing up* "and that's my mom and dad". Tian Yi goes closer to the house, "Want to bury them?" he asks getting off his horse. The child nods pitifully. They build the graves and once the graves were finished, Tian Yi mutters "fire" from the graves, spirits that looked like the child's mom and dad rise up into the sky saying,Thankyou, and disappears. The child looks to them and lets out his tears and cries. "Your parents have gone to heaven." Tian Yi says. With tears still in his eyes the child looks at Tian Yi and pushes out an innocently sweet smile. "Want to see something cool?" TianYi asks the kid. "What is it mister?" TianYi pulls out the rocks with Earth Qi "Look carefully" He says as he starts refining the rocks into pieces of Snowfall jade. One by one he refines them into the shape of lanterns threading them with a braided string from his robe.
*Wide-eyed* "Whoaaa….that was so cool!" the kid says. "What's your name?" Tian Yi asks, "Lei Shi!" the kid yells. "Whoaa as strong as a boulder!" Tian Yi exclaims! Tian Yi pulls out his brush and casts Lei Shi's name onto the piece of jade. "Here you go" Tian Yi gives the boy a necklace "put it on and see if you like it.". The boy puts it on and says "It's not cold anymore!". "Heh I'm glad you like it. Now, lets get moving.", "Where are we going mister?" the boy asks, "I'm trying to get to the city." Says Tian Yi. "I know the way mister, I can lead the way!"-"Alright lets go.". They head towards the direction of the city. A while later "lets camp here for a bit" Tian Yi says as they stop to rest.
As night fell they set up camp and go to sleep for the night. The next morning when Tian Yi wakes up he notices that the kid is missing. He jumps up and sends out his sensing Qi. He locates the kid being cornered by a few wolves and rushes to help. As soon as he gets there he sees the kid holding what seems to be a few herbs. He rushes in and smacks away the wolves and takes the kid back.
"Why did you wander off like that?" Tian Yi asks, "I thought these could help you" raising the herbs up to Tian Yi. "What are they?" he asks. "Wild Snow Ginseng!" the kid says excitedly, "alright thanks kiddo BUT! don't wander off like that without telling me alright?" Tian Yi takes the gift sighing, "Okay mister!", "Kiddo my name is TianYi, looks like I forgot to tell you.". "Okay!" TianYi smiles at the kid and they both head back to camp. *neighhhh* the horse sighs.
Hearing this Tian Yi puts up his guard, and scans around. Uniformed men are looking looking over the camp. As they look around one of them say "looks like this was just an abandoned horse", "DAMN IT!" another shouts. "WHEN ARE WE GOING TO FIND THAT FUCKER" looking around they see the tracks left behind by the kid. "I FOUND SOME TRACKS!". As they follow the tracks Tian Yi ambushes them. *slsht*splurt*slash*smack*BAM!* he kills them leaving one alive. "WHO ARE YOU?" TianYi shouts. "we're the blood cult and you're going to pay for messing with us" as and the last member of the group poisons himself to death.
"THESE USELESS TRASH CAN'T EVEN TAKE CARE OF A SINGLE PERSON" Someone looking to be higher rank grumbles in a thundering voice. TianYi looks to that person seeing a scarred up figure with a bear-like body. "Blood sword" the man conjuring a sword made out of blood. He rushes at Tian Yi, he blocks the swing but the sword disintegrates. Splattering Tian Yi, it starts to melt his skin. Tian Yi expels the blood and ignites his blade. "Oh? I'm surprised you haven't melted from that." Now on the counterattack, Tian Yi rushes back at the man. "Dance of the weeping moon" Tian Yi unleashes a flurry of attacks at the man and cutting him several times. "ohho? You actually managed to cut me?" the man says "It was surprisingly quite easy heh" Tain yi replies.
Getting mad "Do you think you can do anything with those cheap tricks of yours?"-"Burn" Tian Yi ignites the sword wounds on the man. "AHAHAHAHAHAH THIS IS MORE LIKE IT" the man extinguishes the flames by expelling a mist of blood. "IS THAT ALL YOU CAN DO?" "Blood Arrow" the man shoots out blood arrows. Tian Yi blocks them and rushes in again "Scattering stars" Tian Yi's ignited sword shoots out needles of fire piercing his opponent and the ground around him. His opponent gets stunned by this and immediately tries to extinguish the needles. Not wanting his opponent to stop his attack, Tian Yi keeps pushing exchanging blow after blow. With each time their weapons collide more and more of Tian Yi's fire needles pierce into his opponent.
With his opponent looking like a porcupine now and before he can extinguish them, Tian Yi ignites his needles of fire and it burns the man until only his torso remains. Tian Yi sheaths his sword and looks at the man disgusted. As Tian Yi walks away, the mans limbs start forming from blood and he hears "HUH HUH HAHAHAHA HUHUH HAHAHAHAHA" the man laughs as he's sitting up, Tian Yi ignites his sword again an-"BLOOD DEMON RUSH" the man catches Tian Yi in a surprise attack and sends him flying through a line of trees. *Rummbllle* as the dust settles Tian Yi is lodged into the side of a giant tree. Tian Yi coughs out blood and *ptui*splat* he spits out the blood in his mouth as he stands back up again. "Damn that hurt like a bitch" Tian Yi says.
Now holding up both his blades Tian Yi chants "Dance of the weeping moon, Scattering stars, MIDNIGHT BARRAGE" Tian Yi blinks towards the man sending a flurry of strikes, needles of fire piercing every opening of his opponent. With Midnight Barrage he releases 9 consecutive strikes that look like X's infusing his Qi into each strike, making each strike stronger than the last. Igniting his fire needles paired with Midnight Barrage as his opponent burns into oblivion he looks horrified. Leaving a single trace behind. With the last trace Tian Yi says "Disappear" burning even the soul of his enemy into dust. "ptui" Tian Yi spits out another wad of blood and walks away. Checking the bodies for any leftover money. He finds a ring that was most likely used by his previous opponent. He doesn't know how to use it….
Going back to camp, Tian Yi looks for the kid, buried under a mound of branches and dirt "I'm back kid.". He says to Lei Shi picking things off him one after another. "You alright?" he asks. "I'm fine mister" Lei Shi answers. Tian Yi notices a few small cuts and bruises on the kid and takes out his brush to heal both of them. Taking this chance to also scan LeiShi's body with his Qi. A green light washes over Tian Yi and Lei Shi. "Nothing wrong alright, lets try and get to the town before sunset." Tian Yi says. "mM!" Lei Shi replies. Tian Yi looks for his horse and feeds it food and water before setting off to the city.
.....At the battlefield a while later, some other members of Blood Cult came to investigate the scene of the battle picking up pieces of burnt cloth "hmm….this is troublesome, we seem to have lost one of our executives in this fight. Report it back to the cult.", "Yes Sir!" the cultists disperse leaving the investigator behind looking bothered. *Disappear*
Continuing forward towards the city was more or less uneventful. Tian Yi and Lei Shi get to Harbin city. They are greeted by a sleepy city atmosphere.
They happen across an inn where they see the guests getting served food and drinks. They walk in. The housekeeper sees them and shoo's them out of the inn saying "We don't serve beggar bastards like you." They try to go to a few more places and is met by the same response each time. "hooo…how are we going to find something to eat here with everyone kicking us out." Tian Yi says.
Walking along Lei Shi tugs at Tian Yi's robe, "Mister, mister there is a place I know that won't kick us out!", "Oh? Lead the way kiddo". They keep on walking for a bit more and see a beggar. Lei Shi walks up to the beggar and asks them where the "Food house" is, the beggar looks at them and asks "How do you know about that place kid?", "My parents and i used to go there to sell herbs and fire wood we collected at my village!", The beggar confused but seeing Lei Shi's innocent smile he shrugs and take them to the "food house".
Walking along with the beggar, they get to quite a large building with rickety construction and are halted outside. "State your business!", "We're here for some food and to sell a piece of wild Snow ginseng.". The guards look at Tian Yi and tell him, "leave your weapons sheathed and under no circumstances do you draw them. Otherwise, your head may go flying before you get the chance to use them." Tian Yi shrugs and binds his blades up keeping his weapons tucked into his robe.
"You may enter. If you want to sell herbs go to the second floor." Tian Yi and Lei Shi go into the building and walk up to the second floor. As they are heading up they find themselves at a counter with an old woman manning it. "What do you want to sell?" she asks, "We're here to see if we can sell this Wild Snow Ginseng." TianYi puts the smaller piece onto the counter. "20 years. 20 silver coins.". "Can we also sell this jade?" Tian Yi puts down a thumb-sized piece of Snowfall jade. "50 silver coins for a piece.". "alright." Tian Yi replies.
They collect their money and head downstairs. The old woman at the desk tells someone "Go find out about that pair.", "Yes ma'am" he replies. Tian Yi and Lei Shi have a seat at one of the vacant tables on the lower floor. They order noodles and some meat dumplings. As they eat, an old man comes down the stairs and sits at their table. "Hey kid mind if I get some food?", "Sure old man order something.", "a generous pair you two are". Tian Yi keeps eating and the man orders a bottle of wine and a bowl of noodles. "I haven't seen you around here before, you new here?"-"I came from a village in the north."-"Did something happen? Usually those folks don't come to the city."-"The-". Lei Shi cuts in "bandits raided us", "Huh? Bandits? There are bandits there?"-"Yes. They pillaged and burned two villages that I saw." Tian Yi replied. "What happened kid?" Tian Yi looking a upset grumbles "They all died…"
"You don't look so happy kid but I'm just trying to make conversation. As far as we know there aren't any bandits over there."-"Mhm"-" By the way, I've been feeling something ominous from you. Mind putting it away?", "What do you mean?"-"that thing you're carrying around in your pocket there." The old man points to where TianYi put the ring he got a while back. "This thing?" TianYi pulls it out. The old mans eyes widen and he screams "LOCK EVERYTHING DOWN" TianYi jumps up, draws his sword and asks "Whats the meaning of this?!" beggars line up behind him with their polearms aimed at TianYi. Lei Shi jumps into TianYi's robe to hide. "you where did you get that" the old man asks, "I killed the people that chased after us from the village. One of them had this on him."-"Kid, did you really kill the owner of that ring?"-"Yeah, I burnt him into oblivion. Why are you questioning me?"
The old man looking very serious says. "inject some Qi into that ring I need to verify something."- TianYi injects some Qi into the ring and out pours treasures and a name plaque. The old man screams "HOLY FUCK KID!"- TianYi looking confused Lei Shi cuts in "He saved me from those bad guys TianYi's good! Those bad people killed my parents and the villagers!". The old man stunned, "You really killed him right?" the old man sighs out, "Yeah why?" TianYi asks. "inject your Qi again and put your stuff away we need to talk somewhere else.".
"Come with me." The old man leads TianYi and LeiShi to a room in the back with more beggars guarding it. "Come in and shut the door…. You just killed an executive of the Blood Cult, our number one enemy in this area.". "So what? He killed villagers and children." at this point the old man sits down. Sighing and smirking a bit, "Kid you're in a lot of trouble right now. As I see it a blood bath is coming.". "You look quite amused though." Tian Yi interjects. "Well lets just say the person you killed would have been the most dangerous person if the Blood Cult decides to come for revenge.".
"I'm just here to keep people out of harms way. Too many lives have already been lost and it's only been a few days since i got here.", "And how do you plan on doing that? It's not like you can fight off the Blood Cult alone."-"Isn't that why you guys are here?"-"You're pretty sharp kid, but you're mistaken if you think only a few of us can fight them."-"I'll kill whoever stands in my way then."-"it's not going to be easy and you cant save everyone."-"At least i know i can save some.". "So who are you? You're not using your real face to talk to a guest, isn't that a bit rude?"
Stunned the old man peels off his mask. "Uncle!" LeiShi exclaims. TianYi, "You know this man kid?"-"Yeah! He's the uncle that helped me and my parents by buying the herbs and firewood!" *cough cough* I'm afraid i haven't really introduced myself, i'm "Ji Kuai or the swift beggar."- "Since Lei Shi can vouch for you i guess you are someone from the good side of things?"-"Not just the good side but i'm also in charge of this area you see."-"alright then" TianYi replies. "I don't usually meet people to treat them as guests you know. I'm a busy man.". "Alright alright it's nice to meet you, by the way where can i buy a cart of meat and a cart of vegetables?"-"What for?"- "To give it to the rest of the villagers that ran away from the bandits." TianYi replies.
"Huh? But didn't you two come alone?"-"Just get me the stuff and i'll show you. Just keep quite about it after. If any of them gets hurt, i'll kill you." Stunned again Ji Kuai says "Hey, I'm a good guy though. Do i look like i'll hurt innocent people for no reason?"….. after an hour or so two carts of meat and vegetables arrive. TianYi pulls out his painting scroll "HAHAHAHA , don't tell me don't tell me. you're a legendary sage that can make dimensions within paintings you?….you?…." TianYi smirks and casts the painting onto one of the walls.
Ji Kuai's jaw drops to the ground and his eyes water "Whoaaaaaaaaaaaat?!?!?" Little Lei Shi is just stitting and munching away. "Come on lets go, bring those carts with you." Ji Kuai is still stunned and TianYi ties a rope to him. "Come on, lets go" taking a few moments Ji Kuai gathers himself enough, pulls the carts and follows TianYi.
"Whoa mister! It's so warm and cozy here!" Lei Shi exclaims seeing the summer in the painting. Ji Kuai finally, finally gathers himself "but yo- wer- yo- bu- wh- yo- a-". "He's our heavens warrior!" Zhen Ai, Yue Hua, Mei Lan and Xiao Hua walk over to greet them. "Hi guys i'm back, and we're in the city right now." "Wow!Wow! The city! Mom! What's a city?" Xiao Hua asks her mom. *cough cough ahem ahem* "oh right this is mister Ji Kuai". Ji Kuai tells Xiao Hua "Little Xiao Hua a city is a place where lots of people stay, we have markets, inns, food shops, medicine bla bla bla bla….". Zhen Ai asked "Whats with Mr. Ji Kuai, Tian Yi?"-"Oh uhm he probably got shocked by the painting?"-"I see and who's this?"- "This is little Lei Shi i met him on my way south and led me to the city."-"As strong as a boulder! Nice to meet you kid i'm Zhen Ai!"
Zhen Ai laughs a little and asks "Can we go see the markets tomorrow"-"Sure we can go tomorrow" "I CAN GUIDE YOU!" Ji Kuai exclaims. "but aren't you a busy man?" Tian Yi asks him, Ji Kuai dodges the question "Let's get some rest and we can go tomorrow!"
The next day, Ji Kuai "So, you're a hermit sage?"-Mr.Xue Qin "Yep we all just believe he is."-"alright hmm whoa! Who are you?" - "I'm Xue Qin the resident Scholar here, nice to meet you!" Mr. Xue Qin "Tian Yi! Could i go with you and get some books?"-"mHm Sure.". "Alright let's head out." Everyone walked out of the painting and Ji Kuai leads them to the market. Everyone is looking around and Zhen Ai sees a nice clothing store run by an old woman "Want some new clothes?" Tian Yi asks, "They look nice but it's alright, i don't have any money so i'll just do some window shopping."- "Just pick out whatever you like i got some money yesterday." - "Really?!" - "yeah go ahead." - Zhen Ai blushes a bit and walks over to the clothing store.
"Can a country girl buy all the things she's picking up?" The old woman says disrespectfully. Zhen Ai hears this and looks to Tian Yi. "Why don't we change shops?"Tian Yi says "Alright.." Zhen Ai replies. They walk over to the shop across from the old woman's shop arriving at a store run by a man looking to be still in his youth. The man looks at Zhen Ai and Tian Yi and asks what he can help with. Tian Yi takes out a gold ingot and puts it on the counter and calls everyone else over to choose their clothes. Zhen Ai picks out a beautiful green dress and everyone start picking out the clothes they like and Yue Hua picks out a beautiful Navy Blue dress. at the end the clerk tallies up their purchase. Tian Yi puts down 4 gold ingots and pays for everything. The clerk stammers a bit and says it's too much. Zhen Ai and the girls walk up to Tian Yi and hands him an outfit "This is what we picked out for you Tian Yi!". TianYi smiles and says "Thankyou! i'll put it on after i get a proper shower."
A while later Mei Lan buys a few things to help with cooking, Xiao Hua gets some snacks, Yue Hua gets some meat skewers and Mr. Xue Qin buys his things. And Ji Kuai got some liquor. All of a sudden *Boom!*
