What a rhythm

"You are beneath me. You have lost." Gwyneth's eyes hardened, her tone worse.

Sirius smirked, his blood-red eyes sparkling with mirth. "I think you heard me wrong, Sunshine," he said. "You did not escape the manor."

Those words make Gwyneth frown. "It does not matter. All that matters is that death lies beneath me."

"And death enjoys being beneath you, darling." Sirius rasped slyly, licking the blood that was pouring onto his lips with casual abandon.

Gwyneth blinked at him. Swallowing deeply. "W...what?"

"Or do you prefer to be beneath me?" Sirius asked, pulling and gripping the cloth tightly. Before she could respond, he yanked her towards him, and put his arms around her waist.

With his back to the earth, he clasped her small frame against his massive one.

She held her breath. He grinned.

"You cannot escape me. No, you can't." He whispered, clutching her tightly.

Gwyneth shuddered at those words.

"Do you think you can?" Sirius asked, switching their positions. He laid her down gently on the marble floor, hung over her, ensnaring her between his arms, and positioned his knee in the middle of her legs.

Holding tight to the cloth around his neck, Gwyneth shot him a wide-eyed look. "Why are you doing this?"

"Have I not been expressing myself clearly? Why are you choosing to ignore this?" Sirius asked, a playful smile on his lips.

Gwyneth scowled hard. "You..."

"You have no one but me. You have always had no one but me. I am your pillar, and you will see this soon."

"Do you think I am Charlotte?" Gwyneth growled under her breath. "Charlotte is dead and gone. I am no longer the gullible puppet. I am Gwyneth Whitworth."

"Mmmh." Leaning closer to her face, Sirius smiled as their noses touched.

Gwyneth immediately turned her head away. Shock spread across her eyes. "Wh...what are you doing?" Her voice came out forced yet weak.

"You have the freedom to be whoever you desire." Sirius whispered near her neck, his warm breath fanning her skin until she had no choice but to swallow.

His smile broadened. "You are my Sunshine, and everything about you is mine to own," His lips found her neck. "Nothing can change that."

Gwyneth gasped. A faint sound that made him sink his teeth into her neck, yearning for a louder sound.

He bit softly into her neck, sucking on her skin slowly while his teeth continued to sink deeply.

Gwyneth's hands trembled. She let go of the fabric and pressed her fingers against the chilly floor, feeling her body's heat slowly rising.

Her head was spinning. Turning on and off. While her body was responding to the small but painful ministration from death himself.

"Hmm?" Sirius questioned, putting his scorching tongue to her neck. Upon the small, bloody bite mark.

"Ah!" Gwyneth whimpered loudly, her chest heaving.

Her stomach was feeling oddly hot. So much that she could not resist the urge to clamp her thighs. When she tried, she was stopped dead in her tracks by his knee.

Her breath caught.

"Yes." He cooed and licked her neck once more feeling euphoric from the taste of her venomous blood.

Gwyneth clenched her eyes shut. What was happening?! Why was she feeling so hot?

They were lying on the ground like animals with blood on their faces! Nothing about this was normal!

Quickly lifting her hand, she caught the fabric around his neck and pulled his attention back to her face.

He smiled, licking her blood from his lips. "Hold still." He clutched the cloth, sighing as it withered.

Gwyneth shrieked.

Sirius got up and swept her into his strong arms right away. "Good girl."

She tensed up in his arms, but did not try to resist. It was obvious she was worn out.

He vanished, reappearing in her chamber before entering the bathing room.

"No, no, no, let me down!" Gwyneth instantly refused, wriggling in his arms.

Sirius complied. Putting her on her feet. However, like a powerful tsunami, all of the aches and pains she had been suppressing suddenly rushed out.

She staggered. Her back met his chest. She slowly turned to face him, her dark scowl visible on her face. "What are you doing to me!?"

Sirius' gaze hardened. He cupped her face in his large hands. "Do you want me to take your pain away?"

"I want you to stay away from me!" Gwyneth shoved him away, but he did not even move. She clenched her teeth in frustration. "Why can't you just leave me alone?!"

"Because I do not want to." Sirius pulled her face free, setting his hands in his pockets.

Gwyneth scowled. "Is he dead?"

"No." Sirius' eyes dulled.

Gwyneth's eyes glistened softly with happiness. A sight that made his heart skip a beat. He chewed his lip.

"Do not try to find him. He does not want to be found."

Gwyneth glared at him. "How do you know that?"

Sirius lifted his brow. "Why are you so intent on finding him? Is it not enough for you to simply feel relieved that he is alive?"

"He was at the ball..."

"He departed after talking to you. He fled." Sirius interjected, frowning.

Gwyneth moved her lips. "What is your relationship with my uncle?"

"I have no business with humans. I am only aware of these minor details."

"Then you are completely useless. I will find him on my own." Gwyneth turned away, putting her hands on her chest to slow her heartbeat. She had not fully recovered from him... She craved more than just his....

"What a rhythm!" Sirius purred, wrapping his arms around her body, making her back relax against his chest.

Gwyneth's eyes widened. He could hear her heartbeat?! Could he possibly read her mind?

She tried to break free from his embrace, but he pulled her in close enough of her to feel something hard poking into her back.

She caught her breath. He held her dress against her stomach, debating whether to tear it or not.

Gwyneth squeezed her eyes shut. Her whole world came to a halt. As if she and Sirius were the only two in existence.

Being in close proximity with him shut down her brain, allowing her body to take control.

But then all of a sudden he let go of her, and when she turned to face him, he was gone, leaving a burning chill in his wake.

"W.. what?" Gwyneth wrapped her arms around her body, trying to calm herself. She breathed in and out, swallowing hard.

What was he doing to her?! What was that?!

Goosebumps popped out of her skin. Her heart racing at that thought that she knew he would return. Whatever the circumstances.

Her eyes darkened.
