A little help

Kai was satisfied when he felt that he was able to make the energy stay in his meridians, he wouldn't have to absorb energy constantly now, instead, he could just take it from his twelve meridians and would need to refill them whenever they would be empty.

' Hmm I will be able to refill my meridians in about an hour or so, and this much energy is more than enough to train my body for over an entire week. ' Kai felt satisfied, he let the energy flow into his meridians while he contracted the raw energy particles in a particular area to create more energy.

After around one hour and five minutes, he was finally done with the task, by now his meridians were filled to the brim with energy, and his body was slowly taking out a small amount of energy from there and using it to refine his body.

' Now what I need to do is find the right way to use this energy and also learn that sounds attack, I think I would be able to do it after some practice, though it won't be as good as the Toot bat. '

While thinking this, Kai made his way back into the house, after so many months of training he was finally going back into the room without getting injured at all.

That night Kai had a great sleep, he even dreamt of good memories from both his past and present, and the present dreams consisted of his memory of Ron and Emily.

He felt maybe because he had lived such a miserable life previously, God had finally bestowed upon him a relaxing and happy life.

Within a blink of an eye, the night passed and because of the sound of battles, Kai woke up, he saw that Emily was still sleeping since the time was around four in the morning.

Kai's senses have greatly increased as his body has gone through the refinement for many years, and now his body is constantly under refinement.

He sat up from his bed and with silent steps he walked out of the house, even with his weak body such things were very easy for him, after all, he had been the best assassin in his previous world before he stopped going on that path and became a proper cultivator.

Focussing on his senses he found that the sound was coming from the back of the houses, as he walked out he saw that the doors of all the houses were shut close, no one dared to go against the warning of the guards.

After a quick glance around he climbed onto the roof and lay down on his belly, while he silently watched the scene below.

Eleven guards were currently busy fighting five Blazing monkeys, they had divided into five groups with two members in each with the exception of one group with three members and right now they were all in an intense fight.

All five of these Blazing monkeys were stronger than the one he had seen before, Kai wasn't sure if he could fight even one of them for more than five minutes.

Among the guards, only half of them were experienced while the six were inexperienced and were there only to learn.

' They are all in their twenties yet they are all so weak, even I can do better than them, despite not even being five. ' Kai thought when he saw how those six were fighting, the whole battle was weighing on the five experienced guards.

They not only have to stop the beasts but also make sure that none of the rich kids gets injured, right now all of them are in a stalemate, looking around Kai saw a small stone so he decided to help a little bit.

Picking up the stone, he aimed at one of the blazing monkeys just then his sharp ears perked up when he heard the sound of his mother calling out his name.

Since Emily can't get out of bed, Kai helps her out with most of the things when Ron isn't around, but he still can't do things like cooking so a neighbour of theirs cooks for them, in return for some pay.

Kai's hand was already in the midst of throwing the stone and when he heard Emily's shout his hands suddenly stopped but the same couldn't be said about the stone, the stone flew out of his hand accidentally and right towards the head as it hit one of the rich kid, who then accidentally fell in front of one of the blazing monkey.

Kai immediately ducked down, and several panicked shouts came out from there, while they searched for the culprit.

" Are there more of these damned beasts hiding somewhere? Watch your backs, and someone throw this son of a bitch away, we wouldn't want any of them to die. " One of the experienced guards shouted in the heat of the moment.

The rich guard had already fallen unconscious, blood was pouring down from his head, while one other rich guard pulled him away and took his place.

' That wasn't personal, at least now they are evenly divided. ' Muttering to himself, Kai slowly climbed down the roof and ran back into the house. Emily had already woken up she was sitting on the bed, while she yawned.

" Have you gone outside? " she asked, rubbing her eyes she still seemed sleepy.

" Uh… yeah there were some noises outside, I just wanted to see. " Kai said and quickly came to her side.

Squinting her eyes, Emily spoke: " Hmm, five blazing monkeys, baby it's not safe outside, don't go out for some days. I think those guards will be fine. " Emily said in a serious expression.
