' Hmmm it seems these bastards also want a piece of her, that must be why they keep on asking these weird questions haha but too bad that she have already chosen me, I'll just send them away by giving random answers, so she can come out faster. ' Hans thought after hearing the guard's question and then began to answer.

" I saw everything, and I have to say it was a surprising sight, those curves- ughhhh COUGH COUGH " While Hans was speaking both the guards standing in front of him suddenly attacked him with their swords.

*THUD*

The first one cut off his throat and the other guard cut off both his arms, Hans fell onto the ground along his arms, and his eyes were wide open with shock and disbelief, he couldn't understand what had happened all of a sudden, as pain engulfed his entire body.

Hans looked at the faces of his murderers and within seconds life disappeared from his eyes, as his body lay motionless in a puddle of blood.

" It was a good thing that he was stupid and hadn't informed anyone else beforehand, we have to be careful from now on, if news of our deal gets out then along with us our families would also be punished. " The first guard said, as he looked at the body lying limp in front of him.

" Yeah we need to handle this mess now, and since this man lives alone I don't think anyone would notice his disappearance any time soon. " The guard nodded, and then they began to clean up the place.

Kai climbed onto a tree and just like before he began to jump from one tree to another, this time he had a goal completely different from the last time since he was planning to find some useful herbs this time.

While he moved, he was looking around to find any interesting plants, fruits, flowers or anything like that while also making sure that there was no one around.

" That green coloured fruit, it has brownish patterns all over it, hmm it does seem special. " He muttered and decided to check the fruit out which was attached to a tree that was taller than the ones surrounding it.

He jumped towards the tall tree and then climbed to the top of it, since the tree was taller than the ones surrounding it so he was able to have a clear view of the forest around him, but because of the darkness, his vision was restricted.

After climbing to the top Kai pulled the fruit that was around fifteen centimetres in height and seven to eight centimetres in width, kai sniffed the fruit and found that its smell was quite good.

Taking out his knife he cut a small piece of the fruit and then poked his finger as a drop of blood fell onto the small piece of the fruit.

kai had also pushed a small amount of raw energy with its wild nature intact into that drop of blood, in his previous world he used this trick to check if a fruit or other thing is poisonous or not.

If his blood changes colour then there is a high chance that it is poisonous, but he was not sure if this thing would still work in this world, as he waited he looked around to find any living creature and soon he found a bird lying in its nest on a nearby tree.

After a few seconds, the colour of the fruit changed slightly, but according to Kai it was still in the safe zone so he decided to feed it to that bird first, he quickly and sneakily climbed down the tree and then went near the nest.

The bird hadn't noticed him, so he stretched his hand and suddenly held the bird's neck, as it began to release loud cries, taking this chance kai stuffed a small piece of the fruit into the bird's mouth.

" Let's see if the test still works or not. " He mumbled and held onto the bird for some more time, and it looked like his test was still quite precise, the bird seemed to have survived after eating the fruit.

He decided to check this theory on a few more things so he didn't let go of the bird and just closed the mouth of the bird by stuffing a small piece of cloth so that it would not attract any beast towards him.

After making sure that he perfectly remembered the location of the green fruit, kai went to search for some other herbs, after over a dozen minutes, he was finally able to see a small plant that only had around ten leaves that were completely black in colour.

" Just by looking at them I could tell that those leaves look ominous, let's see if that theory of mine still works. " After locating the small plant, kai climbed off the tree after which he made sure that there was no one around, no humans and no beasts.

Then plucking one leaf carefully, he first tore a small part of it and then placed a drop of blood on it which was filled with raw energy, and just as he had expected, his blood instantly changed to blackish colour.

Then he glanced towards the bird who looked back at him with its big eyes, without showing any emotion even towards this cute bird kai removed the small piece of cloth that was shoved into its mouth and then forcefully pushed a small piece of the leaf into its mouth.

*CRIEEEEEEK*

The bird released a loud cry as if it was in agony and in less than a minute, it died.

So the conclusion of this test was that his theory most probably was still working in this world, somehow and that this plant is highly poisonous.
