Chapter 5

It's time for lunch and all I could think of was getting back at those 4 guys. I could see the concern on Kai's face and I decided it was not worth the effort so I let it go. We made our way to the canteen with no disturbance, had our lunch peacefully and carried on with the rest of the day.

I felt uneasy that the day was going too smoothly. You know it's the gut feeling that something is not right. Kai told me I'm overthinking it but I didn't know how to put it into words. We made our way to the next class, heading to the lockers to take our books. That's when it hit me, they were waiting for us, following us around. Why didn't they do anything yet? What's stopping them?

I saw them walking towards me, I saw the expression change on Kai's face. I knew it, I was right but that didn't mean it was going to go our way. I held onto my books to use them as a tool to defend while Kai looked terrified. I looked at him with a smile and told him it's going to be okay. I saw their smirks which made me laugh, thinking how wrong are they about me...
