Continuation,
The offer seemed tempting for both of them as soon as they came back to their senses after a shared moment of mutual sensuality. "I... oh my... I don't think that's such a good idea, Professor." Sol stuttered, feeling conflicted about Benjamin's suggestion. On one hand, she was drawn to him in ways she never thought possible, but on the other hand, she knew that this was a complicated situation.
" I, I apologise Sol I don't know what took over me in such a beautiful night, let's forget it shall we?", said Benjamin with guilt-filled eyes realising what he actually did would be affecting both his career and Sol's future. He wouldn't let the temptation lead him.
Sol nodded, feeling a knot forming in her neck which made her come back to her senses while her cheeks flushed in embarrassment. She knew that Benjamin was right, but the desire she felt for him was overwhelming. She wanted to be with him, but she also knew that it would be a mistake that she would regret for ruining the perfect professor's image.
"I'm sorry, Professor," Sol said, trying to hold back the awkwardness "I understand what you're saying. I don't want to ruin your career or your life. Let's just forget this ever happened and try to move on."
Benjamin took Sol's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. "I'm sorry for putting you in this position sol," he said. "You're a smart young woman, and I trust that you'll make the right decision. Let's just try to forget this ever happened and be cool about this situation.
Sol nodded, her heart heavy with emotion. She didn't know how she was going to forget that night, but she knew that she had to try. She didn't want to risk Benjamin's career and reputation, and she didn't want to risk her future either. She took a deep breath and tried to push the memory of the night out of her mind. As Benjamin was trying to explain what and why it happened it felt like a hard slap on Sol's face for fantasizing or wanting something big.
Benjamin released Sol's hand and stood up. "It's getting late," he said, checking his watch. "We should get some sleep. Let's just try to forget this night ever happened and move on." As soon as Benjamin stood up the coldness of night hit Sol with the same feeling again. The feeling of loneliness was enough to heal and deepen the wounds of a cold heart at the same time. The warmth she felt just for a moment flew away just like that.
Sol nodded, feeling a mix of emotions. She didn't know how she was going to forget something like this or imagine it never happened. The man in his late 30s was appealing enough to melt the freezing ice like Sol, made much sense about why his charms were charming enough...
