Productive Day

Continuation,

As time passed, they finally waved their byes and Sol started walking towards her home feeling the same feeling of awkwardness which rushed blood towards her cheeks constantly. The fact the guilt of this sad night would remain forever in both of their hearts made them more embarrassed. But who knows what time and their destiny holds?!

Sol went back to her home alone in the cold just like she walked before. The moment seemed the same, but the situation was drastically different. She walked inside her room unable to accept the fact, that she kissed the most likeable and charming professor at the university. She felt happy yet guilty at the same time remembering the beautiful moment which had the worst consequences.

With hundreds of thoughts running in her head, she decided to go back to sleep, not bothering to check her phone. She just tossed her phone around her pillow and tried to sleep soundly. After a while day of a roller coaster of emotions, everything her soul needed was a full night's sound sleep.

The next day was right on the edge. The morning came sooner. A light breeze followed by gentle rays of sun hit Sol who was sleeping soundly in her room. The window which was left open was moving because it wasn't being held by anything which made a little noise. After a few minutes, Sol woke up noticing the sound her surroundings made. She looked at the surroundings and smiled to herself stretching her body.

As soon as she woke up she checked her phone which was just aside from her pillow. Instead of having rather thoughts about the previous night, she chose to chase the feeling away because it was inappropriate in all the senses. She just left the feeling deep in her heart, ignoring what she felt.

As she went through her phone she saw many unseen texts from Matteo with whom she shared her day yesterday. A beautiful moment of coincidence was there yesterday, yet the things at night seemed to change the whole day. She decided to reply to all the texts which were from her loved ones.

As time passed, she showered and felt fresh for the rest of her day. She wore one of her favourite dresses and started packing up for the university. Today she was just on time, she didn't bother even to glance towards her professor's house and left for her university.

"Just yesterday things were different" she murmured to herself while walking alone towards the metro at her regular pace while she looked at the recent texts which were from the Matteo. She immediately replied to a few of them.

As Sol got off the metro she walked towards her university, and she felt a sense of relief wash over her. She no longer had to think about the complicated situation with Benjamin, and she could focus on her studies. She arrived at the campus and made her way to her first class of the day confidently.

Matteo had texted her a few times, but she hadn't had time to respond yet. She was still processing everything that had happened with Benjamin, and she needed some time to herself to sort through her feelings. The heavy load of education with burdening feelings were somewhat difficult to withstand for her.

Sol sat down in her usual seat and pulled out her notebook and pen. She was determined to focus on her coursework and not let whatever happened yesterday night or any other actions distract her. She listened to the professor's lecture, taking detailed notes and asking questions unhesitatingly when she didn't understand something.

After class, Sol made her way to the library to study. As she sat down at a study carrel, she finally pulled out her phone and replied to Matteo's texts. As always, she felt a sense of comfort and warmth talking to him, a feeling that she had been missing for a while. She noticed her professor stealing a few glances from her which seemed awkward.

Sol studied for several hours, taking breaks to eat lunch and stretch her legs. As the day went on, she found herself feeling a sense of peace and clarity that she hadn't experienced in a long time. Despite everything that had happened, she felt grateful for the lessons she was learning and the new perspectives of life she was gaining.

By the end of the day, Sol was exhausted but also satisfied. She had accomplished a lot, and she felt ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead in her day. She walked back on her way home feeling grateful for the experiences she had had and the people she had met. She knew that life would always have its ups and downs, but she was determined to face them head-on and come out stronger on the other side.
