The Hero always prevails

He understood that the man wasn't in a right frame of mind but he truly had nothing to gain from depowering him in fact he would lose because he would then need to find someone take over his role in the X-Men.

He wasn't one to follow the time line or try to create some sort of sacred time-line. He didn't need to, he knew every one of them, he knew the end even now and even when it ends, he will be there to close the book and shelve it.

His powers as a Motherbox guaranteed that, he was eternal not immortal. That much he had learnt so in this situation, he needed to have something before he could go along with it.

"Okay so what did I miss?" Charles asked as he got into the car

Sensing the tense atmosphere within the vehicle, He already guessed what must have taken place as he immediately placed his hand over his face as though to hide away the shame.

"I am sorry for his behavior, it's just that being a mutant isn't truly for everyone, your ability guarantees that you surely know a way to rid them of such status" Charles said trying to apologize.

"You don't have to apologize in fact I think I may actually do it, you know there are infinite time lines but no matter what reality, Hank McCoy aka Beast always sticks with the X-Men…  may deviate later on but always starts with the X-Men, I wonder how things will be if that wasn't the case" David said as he began to smile.

Looking through the rear view mirror, Charles could see the boy who now had a wide grin on his face as he relaxed into the backseat.

"That is not what your powers are for, David, no matter how powerful or knowledge you are, it is your responsibility to protect those weaker than you. This is simply you being a bully"

"No, this is an experiment…  I believe that Hank would agree"

"… " Hank still remained in silence

"Or we can discuss again when you can list three human friends that are worth losing your Mutant hood for" David continued with a smile.

As for what Xavier said, David didn't care, helping the weak was a moral obligation not a cosmic truth however the Cosmic truth was that the hero always prevails.

The hero was the one with power who fought for those weaker than them so while he understood what Xavier was saying, it simply shouldn't be used on him since he wasn't here to save the universe or conquer it

He was here to experiment and watch.

Soon they drove away as they made their way towards a large field located a few kilometers away from the farm. Standing in the fields was a young woman.

The lady simply stood there in wait until the car came to a halt, looking at the woman, one would think there was nothing special about her as she looked like the generic American woman.

Blonde, skinny, just average in the areas that mattered but none of the three in the car considered her average. David seeing her immediately knew who she was and saw all she had done.
