PREPARE FOR THE WEDDING

Kelly start scold Katie, katie roll her eyes fighting the urge to snap , she bite her lower lip until she teased blood. She hate being scold. She hates it when people rise their voice at her .
After Kelly calm down she question" how long will it take for you to come back?" Her voice was calm , completely different to the Kelly that was scolding Katie a moment ago .
Katie sighed " I don't know , i might take a while here , I advise you to find another partner for your brother " she advised.
"Dah. da. da plan is already set katy ,nothing is changing it , so let's just relax.
Umm , okay... i gotta go now , mom is already waiting on me at home " Katie said before hanging up .
How can she tell her bestfriend she nolonger wants to date her brother.
There is alot of things she wants to talk about but somehow she couldn't find the way to start , she is always at lost for words.
Eventually she decided to stay longer then she planned. She went home .
That night katie toss and turn feeling an unbearable pain in her stomach.
Her teeth clenched as she squeezing her eyes shut tightly. A soft cry leaves her mouth.
But she try to stay strong.

Three weeks later.
"You look magnificence " i said in aww , Kelly blush looking beautiful in her makeup and gown.
"Well you look great yourself, am sure you would give my brother a heart attack " Kelly said watching her self in the mirror.
(She still try setting me up with her brother.)
"Speaking of giving a heart attack, I need to make sure the groom have a good heart " I says trying to change the subject.
"Hehe , don't worry my brother already check him up " Kelly said laughing
Why does she have to keep reminding me of her brother .
He is a doctor you know?" She pointed out when I didn't say anything.
"Steve didn't tell me that " I wanted to say.
The type i assumes you like... " she adds but her voice sounds so distant, I can barely make out whatever she says after that.
"How could he when all you talk about was sex " my inner voice lecture me
It wasn't all about sex " I scold a voice of my imagination i assumes.

I was saying , you would get to met my brother at the alter.
Isn't it romantic " she adds dreamy.
Unknow to her it will only be her imagination or dream .
Oh Steve and i have already met and we even did things couples do.

"Wow, you absolutely beautiful honey" her mother said in a American accent.
"Thanks Mother" Kelly said with a wide smile on her lips.
I really wish I could be there, for this special occasion " Her mother said, regrets filled her eyes.
It's okay honey am sure, Kelly will hold another wedding here" someone said as they reach out to hug her mother, I assume it's her father.
"Papa is right Mother, I will hold another wedding there, if that makes you feel better"
"No you don't have to honey."
"Mom. It will be my honor, besides not everyone is lucky to get married twice to the same person "Kelly said smiling sheepishly then wink at me,I grinned.
Kelly parents couldn't make it, her mother is allergic to sun heat, Makes it worst when she stay in the sun heat more then she usually do. She can walk in the sun but can't take much of the heat. Kelly father don't want to leave his wife alone so he stay home with her. The sun heat in this country is hotter then other countries. So it's understandable.
Katie, my parents want to say hi" she says before turning the phone to me.
Hi, uncle and Auntie, how are you doing?" I said smiling.
Oh,. Hi, isn't it my favorite darling " her father said grinning.
I smile nodding.
We are great honey " Kelly mother says and I nod.
"That's nice to hear" I said, they nods " how are you feeling, darling?" Her mother questioned genuine concern and for the first time in a long time, I left speechless. No one ask that, no genuinely care. Only mom and Dad yeah but besides them. People only ask because that's something that just came to there mouth and they asked it, I ask people that question sometimes too but most times, I only ask to the break the silence. Not every word someone said , they meant it. I got use to that but right now. The sincer in her voice leaves me speechless.

How are you feeling?" That's a pretty fuck up one.
" Very excited " I said and they grinned while making eyes contact like they are talking to each other through their eyes.
" Excited for what?" Your date?" Her father asked with a sad face.
I thought I will always be your only one ?" He added and I giggle while his wife playfully punch him, he chuckled.
How did you...know?" I trail off at the end before my eyes snap to Kelly. She smile.
All I told them is I am setting you up on a blind date" Kelly said rising her hands in defense.
But, momma and papa I would love to tell you who her date is" she adds
Kelly, not yet" I said softly, knowing if I push it she will definitely tell them.
Besides if it don't work out..." I stop when she nods.
They are lovely people. They are almost like my own parents I would be grateful if I got them to be my parents in law.
Kelly and her parents talk for a while until there was a nock on the door.
My smile widened and Kelly eyes open in shock, emotions running throught it. I wait for her permission. She nods.
I open the door then Gorges,-Sam father- walk in.
"Oh dear, you look stunning "he says and she smiles
Thanks...Dad" she says
"Am sorry but your brother said he be late" he said apologetic and she nods with a smile but one can see sadness in her eyes.
Her phone buzze, she smile before answering " where are you?" Our little bride snaps with a big dangerous smile.
"Am sorry, kel, i will be there as soon as I can" he says. His voice sounds off-fully familiar. Just not to the one that I talk to a month back. How the fuck did his voice change to so much better.
