"Chris, stop scaring Jeese; you're so friendly with everyone, especially girls…" Paul whispered to Chris. "I seriously don't understand what's wrong with him that you like picking on him…"

"E-Eh?! I'm being nice…!" Chris said, growing embarrassed. "We just met him yesterday; I am not going to get all friendly either…"

"But weren't you like that with me too?" Paul wondered.

"T-That's because… uh," Chris muttered, not wanting to actually admit why he was like this with Paul.

Although he teased him a lot and other stuff, Chris was generally very friendly and started acting like a close friend from the start.

The reason was quite obvious, but Paul, being the oblivious man he was, wasn't catching onto it yet.

"It's fine; I don't think Chris is mean to me…" Jeese said. "I could also hear you…"

"A-Ah! Sorry…" Paul muttered. "Well, I guess classes today were quite short anyway. Should we go log in? I wanted to do a few things myself."

"Sure," Jeese nodded with a cute smile. "I'm wondering what I should do myself… I suppose I did go to Obscuritas because of you two, but… Um, what am I supposed to do now? Should I try to get a goal in mind or something?"

"Hmm…" Chris rubbed his little and round chin. "If you're in Obscuritas, you might as well hunt down its monsters. You got a big haul of Dark Spirits, right?"

"Y-Yeah!" nodded Jeese. "I could probably try hunting more—Oh right! There are Dungeons in your town, right?"

"Yeah, there are three dungeons," Paul nodded. "We've already visited them a lot, so we kind of moved away from them. Hunting there won't really yield much for us anymore. But you could give them a try; they're low level enough that you should be able to sweep them."

"I think you get better rewards the first time you complete one too! So you could distract yourself with that in the meantime," Chris said.

"S-Sure! I want to help you two with whatever else you're dealing with as well… You said something about a Boss Raid coming soon?" Jeese wondered, as he drank from his banana and strawberry smoothie with a little straw, when he did so, he always looked adorable.

"Oh yeah, the… The guy that guy," Chris muttered. "What was his name? He was the king of some sort of parasitic bug thing. Some sort of ancient tomb or something, yeah."

"The King of Neburias and the Neburians, yes," nodded Paul. "He'll awaken tomorrow, I believe. We have to prepare for that battle. But we've grown vastly stronger since the first fight, so it shouldn't be as hard, I hope. We also got Insecta and the rest of the army with us… If we ask Queenie for help with the rest of the players, we'll have a sizable force."

"Ooh! I was never able to participate in any Boss Raid event, so I'm quite excited!" Jeese said happily. "You wouldn't mind if I joined?"

"Of course not, the more the merrier," Chris shrugged. "Just try not to die; it can get intense with the quantity of high-level monsters we'll have to fight… But yeah, I suppose we'll have to prepare today, huh?"

"Hm, yeah, well, Teressa should be able to prepare several things. It's nice that the NPC and the world continue moving even if we're logged out. The Artificial Intelligence is really amazing," Paul said.

"Literally, it feels like we're just in another world," Chris nodded. "Anyhow, I guess we should get going? To not waste more time. I also want to log in!"

Chris approached Paul's ears.

"So we can try lewd stuff in-game~"

"A-Ah…!"

Paul grew redder as he quickly remembered the little talk they had had just a few hours ago.

"Y-Yeah, I agree! We should get going. I'm done taking the notes; thanks a lot, Jeese," Paul said.

"O-Oh! Okay! No problem, Paul." Jesse nodded as he saw the two getting ready to leave, packing their stuff. "I suppose I'll get going as well; not like I have any other friends…"

"Sure, let's go together then," Paul nodded.

At the end, everyone continued talking about the game more than anything else all the way to the place where they had to walk their separate ways.

And once Paul went back home, he quickly jumped back into his room, making sure he went to the bathroom beforehand, and then quickly entered the capsule and logged-in once more.

The moment he opened his eyes, he was back inside of his Avatar's house, inside of his personal room, to be exact. Chris had yet to log in, but it seemed that Jeese already was there, as he saw Emerlinda's icon on the map.

He looked outside, finding the half-elf girl talking with Camilla and Teressa; it seemed that they were getting along just fine, and Vlad's mother grew some interest in the half-elf girl that came from another realm, a very rare occurrence by itself.

"I've been wondering for a while, but how did you get in here, elf girl?"

"M-My name is Emerlinda, lady Teressa…"

"You'll gain the privilege of being called by your name once you prove your worth to me."

"E-Eh? A-Ah… Okay… Um, well, it's part of my ability! As a Player, if I add as a Friend someone from another Realm, I can teleport to that friend and jump Realms!"

"S-Such a power exists?! Can you bring more people with you? What is the upper limit?!"

"I-I haven't tested that, but I believe I could bring more people, as long as they're all my Friends, and my Friend List Slots are limited to around fifty. I could pay Credits and make it bigger, but it costs a lot."

"I see! So such abilities exist; how intriguing..."

"Um, Mom, I hope you're not thinking of using my friend… Emerlinda is my first female friend, and we play dolls and teatime together!"

"I might or might not have thought a few things, but… For now, I shall tolerate you, Emerlinda."

"You called me by my name!"

"Yes, you've proven your worth to me and my family. You're free to roam the house… As long as you behave."

"Y-Yes, Lady Teressa, thank you so much!"

"Hmm, now you may play dolls with my daughter; I shall be on my way. It seems my son is back, and we need to talk… For a while."

As Vlad looked through the window, he saw his mother gazing at him with her glowing red eyes; he almost became paralyzed.

"Oh right, I did leave rather quickly yesterday… Is she still angry about that?!"
