Wilhlm was busy enjoying his Fika with his friends when suddenly, they were very thrown into a state of shock by the shrilling yells of a middle schooler from the other side of the pine forest behind the school. It was even possible to hear some scary growls of what seemed to be a wild animal attacking its prey.
Sebastian's eyebrows spread wide with surprise. "What in the name of all that's holy is going on here?"
Lena's face showed concern. "Is there danger?"
There was a pause. It was brief. The silence broken only by others' movements. Very suddenly, a gunshot filled the scene, breaking the silence and thrusting all into deep, quiet thought.
The footsteps were getting closer and closer. It was their administrative teacher Mr. Wahlin. "Everyone stay calm" Mr. Wahlin spoke in a serious tone. "There has been an accident in the forest outside the school. One of the students wandered there and was about to get attacked by a wolf. The student has been saved on time. But the wolf had to be killed to ensure everyone's safety."
Sofia gasped. "Oh my God! That's horrible."
Wilhelm felt a little saddened. He was uneasy. "I just can't believe something like this happened, and so close to our school."
Mr. Wahlin nodded in agreement. "Yes, this is true. I have always insisted that one should respect the rules and regulations set out by the school. That forest area is out of bounds. It's for students' safety. Of key importance is that we all take measures for our safety. Risks that are not necessary, we can't take any."
The group nodded in agreement with Mr. Wahlin's advice and all the school was doing to protect them. It was a really rare thing, they all knew this but it sounded alarm bells loud be clear that you should never slip up and always make sure to follow the rules.
