Ethan then pulled out a book from behind his back, a sly grin spreading across his face.

"I know you've been wanting to read 'The Sisterhood' for ages, but since you're too laid-back to get it yourself, I decided to take matters into my own hands and get it for you as a birthday gift," he said, presenting the book to her.
