1.1.1.

The room wasn't big. In the middle was an elevated metallic bed and near the walls was a small metallic desk.

There were some tools I don't recognize on top of the metallic desk, but I could see some very small knives there.

There were also three vials of liquid, and two of them were a clear blue while the last one was a strange red liquid.

I was made to sit on the metallic bed by the strange man before he left. There was no light in the room but thanks to my strange eyes, I could see where everything was albeit only barely.

Creaaak...

With a long, creaking noise, the door opened and dim lighting leaked into the dark room. I squinted, looking at the man who came in.

1.1.1.

"Hmm," the man hummed while looking at me.

'What a creepy guy.'

The man was tall and his skin was pale. I find it amazing that someone could be as pale as me.

Ever since he arrived, the pale man had been staring me down like I was some sort of artwork.

"This boy..."

As though sensing my impatience, the pale man spoke and as he did, I shivered like snakes were crawling up my spine.

'His voice is so hoarse... did he skip on water for years?' I nearly chuckled.

Aside from his voice, his tongue was too long and pointy.

'He looks like a snake.'

"Hoho," the "snake man" smirked and leaned toward me.

I wasn't scared of him, but my heart raced as his face neared mine. His glowing golden eyes were hypnotizing, and honestly...

'They're like a pair of intoxicating gems.

"You have an interesting pair of eyes," the snake man chuckled before turning around and fiddling with the tools on the table.

He grabbed a brush and dipped them in ink, before the ink glowed a faint blue.

'Now that I think about it, how can the snake man see me?'

The only light in the room currently was the glowing ink that reminded me of fireflies at night.

'It's not a good idea to be amazed right now, with that in mind, I tried to be vigilant.

However, there was nothing I could do but accept my fate.

"Danzo chose you to be his perfect knife," the snake man chuckled, "I'm sorry, but I'm merely hired to do this. You could say that I'm also a tool."

'He says that, but why is he grinning?'

I bit my tongue.

"Danzo wants you to have the cursed mark, but he wants me to do it for him," the snake man sighed. "What

a weird guy," he said.

'Indeed, but I think you're weirder.'

In the first place, I didn't know what the snake man was talking about.

'What is a cursed mark?'

Soon, however, I would find out.

"Hush boy, it'll be quick."

Fuck you, the pain lasted for at least an hour.

After the man lifted the brush off my tongue, I thought everything was done.

'That was disgusting, eugh.'

The man drew something on my tongue, and I don't know what. I didn't resist, I knew it was pointless and assumed I would suffer less if I didn't resist..

Who knew that the pain would follow after that?

Instantly, my tongue was set on fire and I fell to my knees, sticking out my tongue as steam arose from the area where the man drew on.

"What the," I couldn't see it, but the snake man took a few steps back with shock painted on his face.

Soon though, that shock turned into amusement.

"Strange," the pale man muttered.

While my tongue felt like it was melting off and I gasped in agony, the snake man chuckled to himself.

"The seal isn't working as it should, mm..."

In the dark room, the snake man cupped his chin in thought while I was on my knees with my head on the floor in front of him.

'GAHHHH?!'

My mouth was wide open, a stream of hot ink dripping down from my tongue while my vision clouded.

"Interesting," the pale man chuckled, and my belated wail mixed with his deranged laughter.
