Keep Calm

Maddison looked into the distance. She knew Elias and her grandpa were hiding in plain sight. Clearly, they were really well hidden.

She was wearing a pair of sunglasses to shield her eyes from the blazing sun. Maddison only picked up Hugo's call the next day. She was surprised to find another ten messages from him as well.

Each message was vague, with Hugo asking to speak to her. To clear up the misunderstanding between them.

Maddison nervously fiddled with her hands. Her palms were beginning to sweat and she didn't quite understand why. She was in desperate need of something to hold in her hands to stop herself from fidgeting.

A cup and pot of tea was placed on the table before her.

"I didn't order-"

"The gentleman in the corner bought it for you. He wanted you to have this note too," The waiter explained as he handed her the note.

It was a folded napkin.
