Conclusions (pt.1)

'Zefe's death is not the only despair I need to escape from.'

That was something Alastor had realized after thinking about this test last night.

If it was only about Zefe, then Alastor was a little bit close when he killed her. However, the Moon Enchanter's words echoed in Alastor's head again.

Thus, Alastor was aware of his mistake.

'I underestimated despair and regrets.'

And by doing that, he lost one chance. How many chances were left for him, though? The little boy found it annoying to have so many unknown factors affecting him.

'I would not deny how thrilling and exciting this is, though.'

Of course, he was. Alastor enjoyed the unknown as much as he loathed the unknown.

His father was looking at him.

His son was eating calmly, completely unphased despite knowing his father was planning to throw his mother away at one point.
