Alastor knew that, and when he was faced with either being caught and tortured or jumping down, he decided the latter. As much as this life meant for him, Alastor knew he wouldn't be missing much. His potential was too great to waste on this life. 

However, something went wrong. 

Once Alastor opened his eyes again, he had to arch his brow in disbelief, “What the heck is the meaning of this?”

A floating shadow formed a holographic screen in front of him, with clear words written there on it, 

[Welcome, Player Alastor! Unfortunately, something wrong happened and your reincarnation had failed. However, now you have a chance to play in our glorious world, Esme!]

Alastor had many things running through his head, especially once he noticed the additional line at the end,

Vian stood there dumbfounded. Perhaps Alastor having a sister was not that shocking, but this sister being here was something she did not expect.

Because this was a new realm. A new dimension that they barely managed to enter and survive in for the past few days. Now, however, she was looking at a young girl who had no injuries or any traces of harm despite being here.

Vian, Arisa, and even Alastor all had traces of being hurt or at least fighting. So, how come this little girl appeared to be in the best condition between them all? That excludes Alexander of course.

Arisa had similar thoughts but her doubts were even more intense.

Alastor did not have any known siblings. His father had only a few adopted children. Due to that, he was accepted into the family despite being the child of a slave.
