Kim's dead?

"Ready?" Jackson held their bedroom door, gazing at his soon-to-be wife fixing some of her things in her back. "We have a plane to catch, darling."

Fil turned to him and picked up her bag. "Sorry about that. Just making sure I'm not leaving anything behind," she explained as she advanced in his direction.

"It's okay." He understood. "Let's go?"

"Yup!" Fil clasped his hand, ready to return to the country to meet with her parents before the wedding.

The couple had two weeks before the big day. Hence, the two wanted to spend time with her parents because he told her he didn't have his. Jackson also wanted Irene to help with the wedding preparations as an excuse for the mother and daughter to bond.

They left the penthouse they had been living in for the past months, hand in hand, Fil suddenly stopped. Her smile vanished, slowly clasping her chest.

"Is everything okay?" he asked, assessing the sudden paleness on her face.
