Professor Rafael

Since was closing in fast, he allotted ten minutes to plot on the top three crypto.

Once ten minutes were up, even though he only covered about 2 months of time, he moved to the next crypto.

This went on until he finally arrived at the last crypto currency.

He was still plotting the trend line when all of a sudden, he couldn't see the future state of the marker.

"It's depleted huh?" Nathan stopped.

[Honor]: 51825

[Items]: [Silent Tape

x 1]

[Shop]:

Silent tape = 1000 honor

All-Seeing Eye = 1,000,000 honor

[Magic Wheel]: *21

days before it opens *Obtain a vault prize (Spinning requires 1000 honor, the

result may be an item or a skill depending on the host's luck)

[Ability Vault]:

Bronze Vault = 10,000 honor

Silver Vault = 100,000

honor

Gold Vault = 1,000,000 honor

It was just as Nathan suspected, since he acquired the All-Seeing Eye, it meant that it can now be available in the shop function.

Nathan's eyes widened as he saw the price for it, "A hundred thousand honor points? How did that happen?"

He scratched his head trying to think of something to explain this.

The silent tape is worth a thousand honor points while the All-Seeing eye is worth a million. There was a huge gap in their price, was it the difference between the rarity and function?

If Nathan recalled correctly, he bought the silent tape for a hundred points. Technically speaking, if thought of this rationally, then the price on the shop correlates to ten times the number of honor points used to get the item.

It seemed to be true but when Nathan thought of it he realized that it didn't cost him any honor points to get the All-Seeing eye, and yet the value depicted on the shop is a whopping million honor points.

With all of these details, Nathan concluded that the closest reason for getting all these values on the shop is how the system rated their worth.

Despite the value of the magic wheel increased, this doesn't entail that the value of the tape increases also. In the All-Seeing Eye's case, even without needing to buy it, it must've been rated that if he were to buy that in the ability vault, it would cost him a hundred thousand points.

Thus, the value of the All-Seeing Eye would indeed be worth a million on the honor points.

Nathan sighed as he laid on the bed, why did he even think that much on the system. Just thinking about the rules of the system drained him of all his energy for the day.

He closed the system and slept so deeply despite already sleeping earlier.

At Professor Damian's place.

Damian was calling someone, "I hope he's still awake."

The call connected, the other person said in a soft-spoken manner, "Hello, who is this?"

Damian was glad the phone got through, He introduced himself, "Professor Rafael? It's me Damian, the one who you gave that hard math equation during the conference"

"Oh, you're Professor Damian, what can I do for you tonight?" Rafael responded with a hearty smile.

"I didn't bother you tonight, have I?" Even though he was the one who called Professor Rafael, it was still embarrassing for Damian to bother the old professor this late at night.

"Oh, don't be, I'm still writing in my room. I'm not like other old men who like to sleep a lot" Rafael laughed.

"Is that so? I'll be bothering you tonight then." Damian heaves a sigh of relief.

"Sure, so what do you want to talk about tonight?" Rafael asked.

"It's like this…Our university will be doing a math competition for all the departments on campus. I was hoping you'll be one of our panelists," Damian said.

"A panelist? When will it be held?" Rafael asked to check whether he'll be available for that day.

"It will be held three days from now; since it's already night time, you can say that it will be two days from now." Damian added.

After Rafael checked that he had no plans three days from now, he agreed. "Sure, I'm free on that day. I'm thankful for your offer."

"Thank you so much professor! To be honest, I picked you since I discovered an interesting student." Damian said.

"An interesting lad? How so?" Rafael was curious. It is not very often that professors recommend students they think have potential.

"Do you remember the question that you gave me?" Damian asked as the Professor said yes.

"To be honest, I still haven't solved it after many weeks but this kid, I think he solved it." Damian said excitedly.

Rafael widened his eyes as he heard the words from the mouth of Damian, he said in an unsure manner, "You must be joking Professor Damian, you said it yourself that you haven't solved it, how can a student be able to solve it?"

"Even I found it unbelievable, the professor, he didn't manage to solve it altogether but the percentage of what he solved was higher than mine, plus I was trying to answer it in weeks but he was able to answer it in minutes. It's impossible that by now he hasn't solved it already." Damian said honestly.

Rafael nodded his head, if what Damian said was true then it is possible that the student had already managed to solve it.

Rafael immediately asks, "Will that child participate in the competition?"

"Yes, I already gave him a spot," Damian said.

"Good, I really would like to meet this child that you speak of. He might be a rough diamond." Rafael laughed.

Both exchanged a few more pleasantries before Damian bid farewell and ended the call.

The next day.

Nathan left the house and headed to the university.

When he arrived there, he was greeted with stares. The stares looking at him were different from usual, it was more of curiosity rather than pity or other emotion.

Nathan shrugged it all off, he thought that it might be because of the video he posted.
