Chapter "Confession"

The terrace grew quiet, smiles fading into disbelief among the group.

Sheryl's profound shock was evident, tears beginning to gather in her eyes.

In a blend of disbelief and frustration, Fredy surged forward, clutching Hamlyn's collar with a tight grip, "What in the world are you saying?” His voice carried a hint of frustration.

With a forceful push, Hamlyn shoved Fredy aside, his anger palpable. "Back off, What's wrong with you?” he stated firmly.

"No Hamlyn, what is actually wrong with you?" Henry chimed in, tinged with anger. "Are you aware of what you're saying?”

"Yeah, Hamlyn, this doesn't make any sense," Ruby chimed in, her confusion evident.

Meanwhile, Sheryl's tears silently fell on the ground as she kept her eyes fixed on the ground. Everyone noticed her tear, except Hamlyn.

The sight of Sheryl tears deepened the sadness felt by everyone for her.

"Why are you all overreacting?" Hamlyn retorted angrily. "I've already said it, I don't love anyone."
