"Pardon us but who exactly is Hamlyn?" the stranger inquired, his tone polite but probing.
"And who might you be," Fredy quickly retorted, narrowing his eyes, "and what do you want with Hamlyn?”
Hamlyn stepped forward, calmly resting a hand on Fredy's and Henry's shoulders, and gently moved them aside. "I’m Hamlyn," he announced.
One of the strangers approached Hamlyn and swiftly wrapped him in a heartfelt embrace. "You look great, my brother-in-law," he remarked warmly.
Fredy, Hamond, and Henry stood frozen in shock, their mouths agape with disbelief.
Hamlyn, his brow furrowed in confusion, gently tried to push the stranger away. "Hold on, please. I'm not your brother-in-law," he stated gently.
Despite Hamlyn's protests, the stranger persisted in embracing him tightly. Hamond, his face a blend of confusion and surprise, interjected, "Brother-in-law? What in the world are you saying?”
