Chapter "The Jungle's Surprise"

A hand pulled back the tent flap, and Henry peeked inside. “Hey,” he said, but before he could react, the stick swung out and struck Henry's face with a resounding impact.

Sheryl and Rurina’s eyes widened in shock, their jaws dropping, while Ruby’s eyes were tightly shut, her expression one of clear anger.

Blood sprayed from Henry's mouth as he was hurled around and slammed to the ground. He was wearing a large shawl over his head giving the impression that he was trying to hide himself.

Hamlyn, Hamond, and Fredy stood behind Henry, each draped in a shawl. Their expressions were a mix of shock and disbelief, eyes wide and jaws hanging open as they looked at Henry lying face down on the ground, unconscious.

As Ruby's eyes snapped open and fell upon Henry lying on the ground, her eyes widened in horror. Overwhelmed with realization, she covered her mouth, her face a mask of deep sorrow.
