Chapter "Behind The Bush"

Fredy gave Hamlyn a playful thumbs up. "Okay, I'll be careful now!" he exclaimed with a grin.

Henry clapped his hands together, smiling. "Alright, let's get back to the game."

With renewed energy, they resumed playing.

Sheryl watched them, her fingers gently running through Hamlyn's hair. Her gaze then settled on Hamlyn, who lay with his eyes closed, appearing relaxed and at ease.

“Are you feeling any better now?” Sheryl asked softly.

Hamlyn took Sheryl's hand and placed it tenderly on his cheek. “My hair was starving for your touch,” he said with a smile.

A soft smile graced Sheryl's lips as she tenderly ran her other hand's fingers through Hamlyn's hair. “You should have told me,” she said.

Hamlyn, his eyes still closed, responded with a playful tone, “I knew you wouldn’t want to do this in front of our classmates.”

Sheryl gently stroked Hamlyn's hair and said, “Whenever you’re feeling like this, just let me know. I’ll figure something out.”
