“Oh…” it took Anna a moment to understand what he meant by that. “What?” she felt a clumsy
feeling all a sudden. “Where did you get that idea from?”
“Anna, he is just a child. It’s not like literally he will find someone.” Her mother whispered.
“Mum, never underestimate him.” Anna persisted. She knew that her son was persistent. And he knew how to do to get what he wanted. Still, it made her sad that her son was longing for his father’s love. But she can’t just break his heart. She kneels down to him. “I’m sorry baby.” She apologized. “But I don’t see why we need a daddy when we have so many people to love us.”
“But I want a daddy for you momma.” He pouted. “Please.”
Anna sighed. “Ok, I agree.”
“Will you agree the one I choose as my father?”
“If you find someone in reality, I agree to get to know him and give him a chance. But promise me that you won’t exert yourself to it and you will accept every decision I would choose.”
