Joanna's POV
STUCK IN OBLIVION. Stuck in the darkness. Or was it light? I couldn’t really tell.
One moment I was sitting in a restaurant area of a hotel with someone familiar, though I couldn’t quite put a face to him, but we came across as really close.
I was not in a coma, I was sure of that. I also wasn’t asleep, instead, I was just weak. I tried opening my eyes but I couldn’t muster enough energy to do so.
I could hear voices but they sounded faint. Soon, I felt myself giving in to another fit of darkness.
I stirred again after that, and this time I was more aware of my surroundings. I tried freeing my eyes once more but I wasn’t able to.
I began hearing another set of voices. They all sounded familiar, though one particular voice struck me.
I could tell he was the one I was with at the hotel. Ais voice calmed me whenever I heard him speak.
