Chapter 4

After trying to cut five segments of bamboo, Ji Jiu dragged her exhausted body to a fresh water basin to fetch water again. Then, she placed the bamboo stick in the basket she had brought and tied it with the pegs she had made. For fear that the water will spill Ji Jiu also took the time to make a bamboo lid to cover the bamboo tube.

Prepare drinking water. Ji Jiu reviewed her memories about where she could find food. As she thought about it, she remembered that the stream on the other side where she saw the dead aquatic animal just now might be good enough to find the remaining fish.

Ji Jiu walked back and looked again. The fish is rotting and dead, you don't care. Instead, she looked for fish that were still struggling or about to die. She found about 5-6 fish and quickly caught them and string them with pegs. Place in cart

Ji Jiu's malnourished body now has almost no strength, but it would be impossible for her to eat fish that smells fishy like this. Ji Jiu placed the basket next to a tree by the dry stream. Then he began to walk around looking for wild garlic that was in the memory of the original owner. The villagers here have never eaten wild garlic before. As well as the fact that there were many foods on the mountain that were edible, no one dared to eat them, even bamboo shoots, so Ji Jiu wasn't too worried about food at the moment.

Walked for a short time and found a lot of garlic clumps. Ji Jiu hurriedly pulled out a few handfuls of her own, then put them into her old basket. Seeing that it was getting late, it would be difficult to get down the mountain. Ji Jiu hurriedly walked back towards the bamboo thicket and used a knife to dig up two bamboo shoots. She was afraid she wouldn't be able to carry things so she didn't bring much. It's not too late to wait for her to eat until she's hungry before coming up to get her again.

After getting all the things, Ji Jiu hurriedly lifted the basket onto his back and walked down the mountain. By the time we reached her shabby hut, it was already dark. Ji Jiu adjusted his eyes to the darkness. Reflect on your memories again and head to the kitchen. She quickly lit the stove to increase the brightness. Then, taking the things out of the basket, she filled the pot with water and put it on the stove. She peeled two bamboo shoots and put them in the pot and boiled until it boiled.

While waiting, she washed the fish with water from a bamboo tube. The other water was boiled in another kettle for cleanliness. When she woke up, she didn't have time to be so meticulous. If you have any water, drink it first, otherwise you'll die again.

After washing the fish, Ji Jiu took the garlic and washed it, then crushed it and rubbed it on the fish after the scales were removed. Then, sliced and took only the fish meat and fried it with garlic. She didn't have any condiments in the house, so she could only bring down a pot of boiling bamboo shoots first. Set up a pan and pour in a little water. Then stir-fry the fish with the already chopped garlic.

When the Ji Jiu is stir-fried, scoop it out onto a plate and set aside. Then she took the kettle down from the other stove. Take out the bamboo shoots and set aside. Then pour water into a pot and heat it to wash your body after eating.

Ji Jiu hurriedly ate, hungry from dieting for many days. Luckily, these fish still had some meat to quench their hunger. Tomorrow she will have more energy to find food than today.

After finishing eating, she washed the dishes and overturned them. Then go into the room and find a clean cloth to soak in warm water to wipe off before putting out the fire in the kitchen and going to bed.
