CHAPTER 5:END OF ROSE

Rose too the first air and poured it on your head stopping the bleeding,she then helped you back on your feet,before she hugged you tightly.

Rose: I really thought that you i will lose you to her forever.

Y/N: They don't call me HUNK for no reason.

Rose:Yeah i forgot that that also your name.

You then felt you back and found out that your weapons are back with you,you the called Rose and gave her back the shotgun that fell from her when she got here.

Y/N:Great we have our weapons back,here's your shotgun,come here we need to check our supplies.

You pulled them out and placed them down along with the rest of your ammo.

Rose:Good idea let prepare ourselves,Can you pair some ammo?i think i only have half pistol mag and ten shotgun shells.

Y/N: Wait just let me count.....hmmm...

Rose:So how many shotgun shell we have?

Y/N:30 shotgun shells,four pistol mags and six MP5 mags,you don't need MP5 ammo so just take two pistol mags and ten shotgun shells...and i still have those three Stimpaks.

Rose :Alright,let's do this.

Y/N:Here i can only give you ten shotgun shells and two pistol mags,I will be using my MP5,just tell me if you run out, For now let's keep moving i think we're very close to getting out of here.

As you walked more to an area were the trees don't cover the sky you looked up to see the grays sky filled with black orb like things with thick lines of mold pouring out of them.

Rose: Where the hell are we ?What is this place?

Y/N: I think the way ahead will be far more dangerous than before...we might even meet her.

Rose:Who?

Y/N: Miranda,Just stay sharp and close to me,don't ever trust her or act like you know what to do.

Rose:When did i do that?

Y/N:Yeah getting closer to Eveline while she was crying on the floor was just part of a plan.

Rose:I... she looked like a little girl...and I.

Y/N: She's a bio weapon Rose,she's dangerous and can't be trusted,don't let her or any other one's appearance fool you.

Rose:So should I trust you.?

Y/N:...

Rose:Relax I'm joking...let's keep moving for now.

Y/N: It's a Village and...That's a huge Core there.

Rose: What is that? I can sense...something from over there.

Y/N: alright then let's head over there

you start carefully walking down from the hill to the village,some of houses were destroyed and some were on fire,you were on the front with you MP5 ready to shoot,Rose was slightly behind you with her pistol ready,the you stopped and and blocked Rose with your arm making her stop as well.

Rose:why did you stop... is that another clone of mine?

Y/N:i don't think so...she's wearing the same clothes as you this time.

when you looked more into the supposed clone you saw crows were standing infront of her as she kept looking at the both of you,when you took more steps and Rose followed you the crow flew into you,the both of you covered your faces ad the passed into you,then the clone slowly walked away.

Rose:Wh-what?

Y/N:Yeah okay that was weird,i don't think that it's a clone,but let's hope that it's not who i think it is.

The more you made your way through the village the more destroyed and burning houses you found and passed by and again at the end of your path it was standing there looking at you but this time on the side of the way there was bodies of other clones on the mold.

Rose:They're all...me,Just like in the castle.

Then when you walked closer to her she walked away and the dead clones stood up,they were letting out moans of pain,there bodies were bigger and made of mold,the only thing that they share with Rose is the face,a deformed one.

Y/N:Rose use you powers on them and i will take them down.

Rose:Go it!

when Rose used her powers, all of the clones got knocked to the ground at ones and their bodies were weaker,you ran up to them and shop some of them in the head an stumped and some other more smashing it.

Rose:Wow did you see that,I'm even stronger than before.

Y/N:(patting her on the head) yeah i'm proud of you,now lets keep going and get you that crystal so we can get out of here.

the more you advanced further the more mold you find,it was covering some of the ground and made walls on the sides of the path you are taking, there were more of Rose's clones,then you saw that Clone walking away the path ahead of you,and black smoke was coming out of her as she was laughing.

Rose:They are coming from there(pointing at a huge wall of mold)

Y/N:they are coming our way,you do the thing with your powers and i will shoot.

you aimed you MP5 and as soon you saw them falling to the ground you aimed at their heads and opened fire at the,then Rose joined in and shot one who was closer to her with her pistol.

Rose:Damn it we don't have time for this!

Y/N:if you have to use your weapon use you shotgun those things take more that on bullet to stay down,or you can leave the killing to me since you have your powers.

you continued taking the path that the Rose clone took,you had your MP5 ready,your eyes were checking every directing,then you stopped when you found that your path was blocked by a big Core,you stood aside and motioned you hand to it as you looked at Rose and said.

Y/N:After you my lady.

Rose:(smile)I don't why i liked that (hovering her hand on the core) so...you will really stay with me when we get out of here?

Y/N: well I'm staying with you now,let alone after this,you know i could have followed you through all of this without you knowing i was there,I'm stealthy too.

Rose:So you are that good huh...well thank again(destroying the Core) i don't know why I'm still worried about you living me...but after i will be back to be full human thing will be better between us,i will stop being weird and all of those things.

Y/N: Well i'm weird too so if you were to be fully human again you will stop talking to me?

Rose no i will never...i was just.

Y/N:(cupping her face) i told you before Rose you don't need to proves to those people anything i will still love you the way you are.

Rose:(placing her han on top of yours) it's good that you're here to remind me again...you are so good at this i thought that you grew up to be this cold solider.

Y/N: my big sister was that warmth...and when you can in...you were the second warmth,but don't get so hopeful i will not act like on those romantic movies,when you need some harsh truth i will give it to you,but i will try to give love to you.

Rose:so you will call me honey or babe now?

Y/N:(letting go of her face)that's too far come on let's keep moving.

Rose:Haha~ at least give it a thought.

After the Core was removed the both of you looked down to see a path that was leading you to an underground area,luckily the path saw lit by the torches on the walls,but you still used your flashlights,you jumped off some short cliffs and other slightly higher cliff ,you jumped first the Rose followed after you,to your surprise she landed on her feet and without getting hurt.

Y/N:Rose,you are impressing me more and more

you then made your way through a narrow path to a big cave system, you stood on the edge of a cliff and saw this hug meaty thing that had veins stock to the cave walls and ceiling and there were Clones of Rose inside a cocoon dangles around it,You and Rose watched as it made another one of the clones and laid it into a pool of mold.

Rose:Is this were those copies of me came from?

Y/N:I have been through many shit but i have never saw something like this,Whoever is behind this is obsessed with you or making something like you,and i think i know who it is...i think that there will be a great battle head so prepare yourself.

Rose:And who's this person?

Y/N: Didn't your mother tell you? you know that when you were a baby you got kidnapped by Mother Miranda and she tried to make you her daughter or something like that,so if we meet her don't fall for anything she says.

you then jumped from the cliff and Rose followed you after you landed,you walked to a table that had many notes and research materials,and light candles 

Rose: Someone has been here.

Y/N:Look around we might find some useful info.

You start looking around the lab,you found some useless notes along with jars with disgusting shit inside of them,Rose piked up one of the notes that were on another table on the other side of the lab.

Rose:Y/N, I found something...it's about the clones and...me,this is the first note it says.

 I had intended to duplicate Rosemary Winters,with the hope that a perfect replica might seve as suitable vessel however,the results were less that ideal.

it would seem that some sort of interference is preventing me from creating s suitable replica.

instead i have succeeded in making what is essentially,a living dull,it resembles the real thing yes but has no powers,Such a pathetic husk could never prove suitable as a vessel.

Rose and the second one.

I will continue my efforts in hopes of discerning the source of this interference,Several hypotheses have come to mind thus far:

1. The fact that Rose herself is still alive.

2.some other actor within this realm.

3.A flow in my methods of production.

None o these seem especially likely to be the sole reason,nor are any of them easy problems to solve.

Perhaps my best hope is to somehow bring Rose into this realm,Were she to offer herself as a vessel it would be so simple.

Y/N:(could it be that she's the one who brought her here if it is...i have to do something to stop her)

Rose: and this's the third and the last one.

Additional observations :Further experiments with these Rose Copies (as I've taken to calling these husks)have yielded another interesting wrinkle to pursue.

When subjected to situations of evoking extreme terro,they actually begin to express some semblance of Rose's abilities.

This warrants more research,and i think that my first creation,the Masked Duke,is just the one tpo preform this"stress test" 

Rose:(putting the notes away)They couldn't have been watching me the entire time...could they?

Y/N:that more likely to be true..Rose do you still believe that there is this purifying Crystal,don't you think that it was a way to lure you here?

Rose:I...I don't know,but i came this far and it have to be there...besides Micheal i mean my dad didn't dined it .

Y/N:let's hope that it's true and even if it's not it's okay you still be good for me.

Rose:thank you~~ you always make me feel better but don't you think it will be best if i was more human and less weird?

Y/N:weird don't you mean special,for me you're not weird Rose but special not everyone could do the same things you do,but if you want to remove these powers i will still help you and you will still be special to me.

Rose:I guess Chris was really wrong about you not having emotions.

Y/N:Well, i'm not like this with everyone but when i came here my sister told me to protect you,then it became something that i want rather than something that i do to please her.

Rose: Thank you again,I don't know what i will do without you by my side.

Y/N:come on let's finish this and get out of here.

you continued making your way through a tunnel deeper into the cave,with your guns ready,as you got deeper Rose stopped for a moment and held her head making you stop to check on her.

Rose:There's that feeling again,It's so strong.It must be the crystal...We're almost there.

After making it through the tunnel you arrived to another cave and at it end there was steps leading to a big spot that had crystals surrounding it from every side.

Rose:It's through here!

Y/N:Alright be careful,this place look so calm and empty and that's more suspicious.

As you were taking the steppes to that spot,the crystal came into your view,Rose looked at it and smiled before turning to you.

Rose:This one's the real deal i can feel it.

Y/N:It better be.

Rose then walked to the Crystal,you walked closer to her but stayed behind her still on alert if something happens.

she looked back at you and smiled,you smiled back as you gave her a nod before returning to your alert state,she then moved her hands toward the Crystal carefully picking it up,it then start glowing right blue,the Purifying Crystal start absorbing Rose's powers as blue ash start getting sucked out of Rose to the Purifying Crystal,she looked at her hand to see that blue things on it start disappearing.

Rose:It's working! (breathing a sigh of relief) Oh my god is this what normal feels like?

as Rose was still focused on what was happening to her,you saw mold coming out of the floor,you then pulled Rose to you and aimed your MP5 at it,then as it start to take shape an evil laughter,her black wings covered her and when she spread them wide,you saw her standing there,you readied your weapon,you finger on the trigger and you barrel aimed at her head.

Y/N:(Rose don't have powers now the only thing that is stopping her is me)

Miranda:Rose I've waited so long for you...but you...you are not supposed to be here

Rose: Y/N Who is she? is she this Miranda that you talked about?

Y/N:Yes, now stay behind me,she's dangerous.

Miranda:It seems that you know me pretty well, and i don't remember meeting you,but enough of you i'm more interested in Rose than you,Rose You had become so powerful,far too powerful for me to subdue directly(moving closer)So i had to lure you into this realm,so that you might willingly relinquish your powers.

Rose:No but K he said...

Miranda:Did he? or did I

Y/N: So that's why i saw you talking to yourself that day.

That K was an illusion.Very convincing wouldn't you say?

Rose:No way!

Miranda:Now you can become the vessel to my Eva.

a back tree grew from her back,you raised you PM5 and opened fire at her getting some shots before is covered her,you were about to pick up Rose and run when Ethan came out of nowhere and held Rose's hand while shielding her with his body.

you joined the two and stood beside Ethan,with your MP5 ready still aimed at Miranda's head,then you said without looking at Ethan.

Y/N: Happy to see you Ethan.

Ethan: Thank you for protecting my daughter Y/N but this time let's do it together(turning to Rose)ROSE GO!

Rose: but wh-

Y/N: We will join you later just run.

Miranda:Ethan you pest! and you...i don't know who you are but you proved to be someone who can get on my nerves, So Ethan at this stratum even you can manifest,they can't Save you Rose! NO one can!.

you then threw your shotgun to Ethan,the both of you start firing at her as you were backing away,after hitting her and making her back away for some distance you joined Rose as you ran while shooting some mold monsters that Miranda summoned,Rose and Ethan were shooting some of them with their shotguns,while you used your knife and bare hands to kill them to preserve the ammo for Miranda.

Miranda:You can't escape Not from me!

Rose:Dad! wait,hold up. is it really you?

Ethan: Yes! but right now you need to run! RUN!

Y/N: damn you father is pretty fast-Rose look out!

as the both of you were running side by side the cave ceiling start falling of and some big rocks were about to fall on Rose but pushed her away to safety as you used your body to shield her from some of the small ones,your armor served as a good protection as you didn't get hurt or seriously injured,the path that you passed was blocked by the big rocks that fell from the ceiling

Rose: OH MY GOD Y/N!

Y/N: I'm okay keep running!

Ethan then came and helped the Rose up,then he walked to you and offered his hand,you took it and stood back on your feet.

Rose:Thanks but why didn't you tell me who you really were?

Y/N: aaaaaaand he ran up ahead,come on let's keep running.

Rose: Why'd you let me call you Micheal?

Ethan:I didn't want to complicate things,I just needed you safe,and i guess i wasn't the only one,thank you Y/N for not just keeping her safe but being there with her.

Y/N: You're welcome Sir.

Ethan:And Rose,I'm sorry i left you alone but i had to find a way out...And i did it's just ahead.

then you came face to face to an exit that had shining light coming from it,you getting so close when you head her again.

Miranda:Rose!

when you turned around you was her right behind you, you start opening fire at her until your magazine was empty then she hit you with the back of her hand sending you few miters away and pinned Rose to the Ground.

Rose:(screaming)

Miranda: You are mine now.

Ethan/Y/N:Get away from my Daughter/Girlfriend

the both of you said as Ethan shot her with his shotgun and you with your MP5,sending her flying few feet away,you got up and pulled back Rose on her feet.

Ethan:Rose! Y/N! come on!

the three of you were able to ran through the exit,then you found yourselves of a wide area covered with snow,the sky was gray mold was splattered in some areas,then she came back ones again when she laid her hand on Rose you pulled your knife and slashed it then Ethan came and pushed her away.

Miranda:Ethan! Persistent as always,and you Y/N right i will enjoy killing you.

Rose: Dad! Y/N!

Ethan:Rose now's your chance,go live a normal life,with Y/N,make new friends,a family,No one will ever call you a freak again.

Rose:But-

Ethan:Rose just go!

as Ethan ran up to Miranda and start tackling her,she start hitting him with her sharp nails, you picked up the shotgun that you gave to Ethan and you backed away to where Rose is while shooting her.

Rose: I don't want to leave you.

then she send a mold tentacle and tried to grab Rose but with you shooting her and Ethan deflecting it she didn't reach her,he stood in front of rose holing his wound.

Ethan:I know I know, I love you...but i need to know you're safe,Y/N please keep her safe,So rose please just--

she got cut off by Miranda attacking him and wrapping him with her mold tentacles,Rose got back on her feet,you stood there thinking should you stay and fight or run away with Rose,after you saw Rose Making her way you were about to join her when Miranda stabbed Ethan with her tentacle and lifted him in the air,you start opening fire at her ones again while dodging her attacks,jumping, rolling around,back flipping,while you were fighting Miranda Rose looked back at the both of you,Her father who was in pain and you who were trying his best to by her time so she be safe she then took a deep breath before pulling the purifying crystal and smashing it on the ground,the energy that the crystal absorbed went to Rose's body ones again,blue as surrounded her body,and blue veins were seen on her body,her eyes were glowing blue.

Rose:Don't worry Dad...Y/N....I've got this!

Miranda then spread her wings and start flying up ready to attack Rose,you ones again opened fire at her but she used her wings to cover herself from some of the bullets,then she flew high and looked down at Rose while she said.

Miranda:you think your powers will allow you to stand against me in the heart of my domain?Foolish little girl.

Rose:With how intent you were on my throwing them away...i think this just might!

Miranda got angry and flew down toward Rose,spinning around herself and using her wings as a weapon to attack Rose,But Rose was able to shadow dodge Miranda and avoiding her attack,you watched s you were reloading you shotgun and MP5 observing her moves to see an opening to attack her,when Rose used her power on Miranda and stunned her for a moment,you took this chance, While she was focused on Rose you ran to the other side the you start slide shooting at Miranda,Putting many bullets on her body with her not able to use her wing as an armor,Rose joined in and shot her with her shotgun.

Miranda:How dare you!

Y/N:Great job Rose keep doing that,she's getting weaker,We can do this.

Rose:We will survive this!

Miranda:(getting back) And even if you were to survive? What would be the point?You can't save your father, You are of two different worlds,and that man i will make sure that he stay here forever!

she the one again flew toward Rose,but Rose shadow dodge her ones again,but she did not stop the she flew toward you as well her claws are ready to pierce your body you were too slow to dodge her as she was able to grab you and fly with you up,but you took out your knife and stabbed her in the face,making her scream in pain,she let go of you and you were able to land on your feet, after Rose got the chance she used her powers to stun her again and the both of you start shooting at her,but then she charged some sort of a projectile and threw it at you but Rose stood in front of you and absorbed the incoming projectile,Then Rose railed her powers into a massive Megamycete attack,Massively Damaging Miranda's wings and making fall to the ground with her body exposed.

Rose:I wont let you do this!

the both of you start shooting her again,your finger didn't let the trigger as bullets flew and pierced her body,She let out moans of pain,she was more scared than before as she said.

Miranda:What is this?(getting her wings back) It took so much to lure you here,but you're incredible!Well worth the effort.

then the whole area was covered by dark ash,you and Rose stood back to back,ready for her.

Rose:You might change your mind when we put an end to your plans.

Y/N:She doing her best,i think we're so close into beating her,Keep doing what you did before and don't underestimate her,she will use all of her powers now.

Miranda then start coming out of the ash and lunging at you,but you were so quick to put a bullet on her head making her go into the ground like a sand warm,then she did the same thing one again but this time she attacked Rose,but Rose shot her with her shotgun making her retreat and the ash around you go away.

Y/N:Rose I'm almost out of ammo,I only have one mag and a half for my MP5 and 20 shotgun shells,i will be using my knife and pistol for now.

Rose:Don't worry my powers are more that enough to weaken her.

Miranda:You will fall before me.

Rose:that's not gonna happen

Miranda:(flying high) Come be by my side.

Y/N:She told you that not gonna happen.

Miranda:I cultivated this world within the Megamycete to resurrect my sweet daughter,But no matter how many vessels i created none had the power to regenerate her,That is why you must be you...You are the only one who can bring her back to me.

when then flew high before charging at Rose and when she dodged her she went for you but you dodged her as well and used your knife and slashed her torso,when she got hurt she went underground and came out from under the spot that Rose is standing on,you quickly pushed Rose away giving her the chance to use her powers on Miranda,stunning her,you start shooting her with your pistol,then she sent two of these projectiles toward Rose but Rose absorbed the both of them at he same time.

Miranda:What!?

Rose:Take this!

Rose one again was able to massively hurt Miranda to the point that her wings were damaged and she fell on the ground you then Pulled your MP5 and start walking toward her while shooting he, After your MP5 ran out of ammo you dropped it and draw your shotgun and start walking toward Miranda while shooting her,and when you shotgun ran out you draw your pistol and continued shooting at her when you pistol ran out you pulled your knife and got ready to ran to her and stab her when Rose stopped you.

Rose:Don't do something stupid i will deal with her,here take my shotgun and my pistol i wont need them,I can use my powers now.

when Mirand got back up the sky turned Red and a big black orb was behind her,and a dozen of the mold projectiles were around her,she laughed before she lunched all of them at ones,Rose tried her best to absorb them but she could only absorb two before the other projectiles hit the both of you sending you to the ground,Most of the hit were on you as you were standing infront of Rose,you start back crawling while shooting Miranda with the pistol that Rose gave you,Rose was about to come to you when she head her fathers voice.

Ethan:Rose over here

Rose:Dad!

you were able to get some shots on her allowing you to get some time to get up and ran away to where Rose and Ethan are,as you got closer you saw Rose crawling toward Ethan,you quickly helped her up and ran with her to her father,Ethan reached his hand.

Ethan: Use this...take her down.

as that golden Ash came out of his hand and went to Rose,Rose's eyes start glowing bright yellow and more powers start going through her veins,before she went to attack Miranda she looked at the both of you laying on the ground,you looked at her as you were breathing heavily and she looked back with concern. 

Y/N: Rose go i think i need some rest...i will see you soon...

Rose: please both of you stay safe.

Ethan:we will now go finish this.

ten Rose when away to fight Miranda alone,you turned back to Ethan as you watched Rose go for it and said.

Y/N:(laughing) I think you tackle didn't work.

Ethan: Well, at least i didn't charge at her with a knife.

Rose stood in front of Miranda and charged all of her powers and before Miranda do her attack Rose released her energy making Miranda fall one and for all, hurt weak panting using her arms to support her body so she dose not fall on the ground,Rose then walked to her and focused her powers on her,Miranda looked up to Rose,and Rose looked down at her,as he was slowly turning into ash she said.

Miranda So much power,You truly would have been the perfect vessel for my Eva.

Rose: I'm not a goddamn vessel,I'm not some stupid copy,I'm me Rose And're done.

Mirand:(screaming as she was fully tuning into ashes) MYYYYYYY EVAAAAAAAA!

Ethan:(walking to her while howling his wound)Hey sweetie...

Rose:(running to him)Oh my god!

Y/N:(using a Stimpak) i'm okay, enjoy your family reunion.

Rose:(crying) shut up come here you too,are you too okay?

Y/N: i can hold myself but i don't think Ethan have all the time so make sure to spent this time with him.

Ethan: Rose...You're...so grown up now,And even though i wasn't there with you,I've always watched over you,I'm sorry I couldn't protect you.

Rose:(Crying) all you ever done is protect me.

Ethan:No,Not this time You lost your chance...I'm sorry.

Rose:No,It was my choice and I don't regret it one bit,If I had left you,Then we never would have had this chance...to talk...face to face.(hugging the both of you while crying)

Y/N:(damn it,that Stimpak didn't do much of a job...i feel cold,darkness is covering my vision...is this my end...no stay awake don't let go)

Rose:(crying)So it's okay,I'm OK.

Ethan:(holding her hand)I'm so proud of you.

Y/N:(Holding her other hand) I'm proud of you too.

Rose:I love you dad,I love you Y/N,thank you, both of you for being here for me.

then Rose hugged the both of you again bringing you into a group hug,you wrapped your arms around before coughing out some blood.from a far you saw the ghost of your big sister standing there smiling at you.

Y/N:hello there Bella...it's nice to see you...i think i will be joining you now...Bella my sister did i do a good job?

Bella:Yes you did...but it's not your time to die...not here(giving you something) please take this and remember me,I'm sorry that i didn't do much to help you i was here because of you Y/N through you memories of me...goodbye now...have a good life.

Rose's eyes widen when she heard you speak like that and before she could do anything to help you,everything went bright,and when she opened her eyes she found herself back on the real world at the lab sitting on your lap while you sat on a chair,she looked at you worried that she lost you but when she saw you slowly opening your eyes she hugged you tightly.

Rose:Thank God you're okay.

Y/N:(hugging her back) Me too.

the You and Rose felt that you were holding something in you hands,when Rose looked into her hand she found her Father's ring,and when you looked into yours you found the amulet that your sister used to wear. 

Y/N-Rose:Bella/Dad.

time skip:

you and Rose were sitting on the bus,she was holding her book while she rested her head on your shoulder with your arm around her,she was wearing her fathers ring on her index finger while you kept you sister's amulet around your wrist,Rose held her finger up and start touching the ring,while you looked at the amulet in you hand and rubbed your fingers on it,then your thoughts were cut off by the only other passenger that are with you on the bus, a woman and her daughter talking while holding a story book.

Woman:Do you think the little boy will be able to touch the moon?

Daughter:Nobody could touch the moon it's too far away.

Woman:okay what if he had a rocket ship?

Daughter:Okay then you can touch it but it will be very very very cold.

when the bus stopped the two of you got up and and start walking away,when you passed by the woman and her daughter,Rose stopped for a moment and looked back at them.

 Woman:(giggling)You were being sill,I don't think the moon feels like a killer whale.

Daughter:(giggling) I think it dose,But--

you remembered when Rose told you that she didn't see her mother in years,you placed you hand on her shoulder and she looked at you,you smiled at her as you gave her a gentle squeeze before the both you walked out of the bus and headed to the graveyard,you stopped at Ethan's grave,you stood beside Rose as she placed some flowers on her father's grave.

Rose:Hey dad(placing flowers)Happy birthday,sorry i missed last week i had a lot of things coming up,you know how it is.

Y/N:men usually get their first flowers at their funeral i will probably have the same

Rose: shut up here I've got you some too.

Y/N: a Rose haha so Rose is giving me a Rose.

Rose: i will take it back if you continued to tease me.

Y/N: alright i will stop,don't get my Rose,Rose~

Rose:alright that's it.
