The Heirloom

I immediately went back into my room and did not even bother to say anything to Gioffre when he escorted me back to my room.

I cleansed myself first and changed into comfortable clothes before I sat on the chair and placed my notebook on the study table. Samael is an Emperor, not just any other Emperor but an Emperor to this Empire's enemy.

What I do not understand is why he is staying at the church even though I am sure they know who he is and how he got invited to the first day of the banquet. I am sure they will know their enemy face.

If he is not a Paladin, then what is he? How did he know about my situation? Even if you are at the highest-level sorcerer, you should not see it... Wait.

This is a novel, and I am quite sure that it has something to do with the Samael character, if he is not an ordinary sorcerer then he could do that.
