The young woman took a step forward as she reported, "Fortunately, what happened downstairs didn't alarm Mr. Black."
"Well, If Mr. Black had known Theodore dared to pull out a gun in the Black Building, it would've been enough to make the entire Bean family disappear overnight," Cherry said. "What about him? Jack?"
"According to your instructions, I selected a beautiful girl for him. She's with him now," the young woman replied confidently. "I imagine he's already fully obsessed with her."
A playful smirk danced across Cherry's face as she raised an eyebrow. "Jack is good at causing trouble, isn't he? The nerve of that guy—he looked right at me, so openly, as if he didn't care about his own life. Let him enjoy himself for a while. Call me back in an hour."
The young woman hesitated for a moment, her lips parting before she called out, "Miss Cherry…"
Cherry paused, glancing over her shoulder, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Yes?"
